Yikes. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but if you contact ROUTE and hear back in a timely fashion, you might get a run around like I did. If a product is even weeks late, theyll tell you about their wait and see, approach to delivery and shipping. (My item had never even been delivered to USPS, and then when it was, there was no tracking information for weeks). ROUTE offered a refund or replacement, and when I happily said a refund will be great, after multiple emails and weeks of back and forth... they linked me back to their policies about a seven day waiting period, that had to be restarted again any time any update occurred at all anywhere in the shipping process. So, they reasoned, I actually didnt qualify for the refund or replacement they had offered. Ultimately, the product arrived, more than a month late, damaged. They asked for pictures, and then they told me it was *not damaged enough* for them to provide a refund or replacement. After so may messages, I literally dont know what service anyone is paying for here (is the company I ordered from just paying to not be bothered about questions about late/damaged products?), but the fact that there are so many 1 star reviews suggests my experience is definitely not alone. Save your money. You can wait for packages by yourself with no interventions for free.
Waiting for 2 months on an order that I was charged for but have yet to receive. Filed a claim with route, automated system said claim would be resolved in 24 hours, nothing ever happened. Everytime I log in to see if there is a report I get the same automated response. Theres no way to contact a human being. Waste of money on order. Waste of money on insurance. Which I was forced to buy. I did not have an option. In my opinion, BUYER BEWARE! Youve been warned.
I have loved having the Route app on my phone. It tracks anything Ive ordered online and am waiting to have delivered to me. It gives me updates on where my packages are, when they should be delivered, and when they finally get delivered. It definitely helps so I can plan when Im getting a delivery so I can be home to receive it.

IT DOES NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH DELIVERY DATE, THERE IS A WAIT PERIOD AFTER YOU FILE YOUR CLAIM, AND THEN IF THEY DO CNTACT YOU IT WILL TAKE SEVERAL WEEKS. I FINALLY HAD TO FILE A CLAIM WITH MY CREDIT CARD TO BE ABLE TO GET MY FULL REFUND. ROUTE SUBTRACTS TAXES, SHIPPING, AND EVEN THEIR OWN PROTECTION FEES FROM YOUR REFUND. YOU END UP NOT RECEIVING YOUR PRODUCT AND LOSE MONEY AND TIME. CLAIM FILED DEC. 23, 2020, ONLY AFTER REPEATEDLY CONTACTING THE MERCHANT I PURCHASED THROUGH I HEARD FROM ROUTE ON JAN. 29, 2021. THEN I WAS TOLD THEY COULD ONLY REFUND ME THROUGH PAYPAL. I DIDN’T PAY THROUGH PAYPAL, FORTUNATELY I PAID WITH MY CREDIT CARD WHICH COVERED THE FULL CHARGE OF MY PURCHASE. THIS COMPANY IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
This really has been one of the best shopify apps weve downloaded to date. Its saved our websites hundreds of customer service hits because Route is handling the lost and damaged packages for us. Routes team is great to work with too.

Failed to deliver my package. Failed to let me file a claim and failed on the availability to contact I’ve been basically restricted from contacting them. Not sure why but I feel scammed and I have no way to get help. If there names on it don’t order it.
