We ordered a lanai back in December 2020. We were promised it too be done the end of July the beginning of August by our salesperson. We are just getting it now Sept 3rd. They have someone else installing it. The guy is very nice. He started the job and didnt receive all the supplies. So he had to come back on Monday the 6th. And now he is putting up the roof panels. And guess what? He didnt get all the panels. Whats next? Now again. The job has to be done another day. I am very disappointed too say the least

Highly recommend White Aluminum. I had my porch re-built with insulated panel roof. The team removed the old birdcage porch, installed the new porch to fit the footprint in a day and a half. Hard workers, personable, cleaned up after finishing.

The measure twice and fabricate custom pieces to fit.I did a screen door for my front entry.I did screen doors for my garage entry.AND I did an insulated patio cover over pavers.

White Aluminum recently built our cage and did a great job! Construction is excellent. We did have to wait a few months due to supply availability issues, but it was worth the wait. Could be a little better coordination with concrete companies.

We paid 2613. To tighten screws replace missing seal roof. My husband signed contract in February finally 2 men showed up yesterday 6/18 spent 1 he 70 minutes. They used about 8 caulking on side roof and Florida roof put 5 screws said that’s all roof needed. The hole roofs was suppose to be sealed. I’m calling another roofing company to check. So we paid all the money for 1 hr and 70 minutes do you think that was a good job. I’m sending letter to attorney general in file a complaint.

We hired White Aluminum to replace our vinyl siding. Jim, Dan and Calvin were sent over to complete the job. These guys are very professional. They tolerated all of our questions. They were punctual and cleaned up everyday before they left. They made our house look amazing.Cliff Moore was our sales representative from White Aluminum. Cliff was super. He answered all of our questions and stayed up to date on the progress of our job.We recommend White Aluminum highly!

White Aluminum did an amazing job of several projects in my Moms house including re-screening all of her windows. They were professional and perfectionists in the work that was completed. Olympia was our sales person and she took excellent care of us. She is professional, kind, and has a lot of insight into proper construction and getting things fixed.

I had several windows replaced today. They were covered by a warranty from the window company. Since White aluminum originally installed the windows, they sent two really nice guys out to replace those windows. They were both extremely hard-working and very pleasant and personable. I have recommended white aluminum to many of my neighbors and will continue to do so.

I contracted with a Whites sales representative in February 2020. I was told at the time the job would be completed sometime in May. In May nothing had been done, in June nothing had been done. I contacted the new project manager at Whites the end of June to ask why not (since I had already paid one payment and had a check written to pay the next payment ready). The new project manager, John, was concerned that my job had not been begun and offered to find out why not. My building permit was languishing in the Sumter County Permit office (likely due to Covid-19-related delays). John encouraged Sumter County to act and my job, a relatively small pergola, was completed in early July 2020. The person who performed the work was very accommodating and made sure I had photos sent to me of the pergola, which looks great. Im grateful to have this accomplished as it increases the value of my home and is very attractive. Thank you for working with me--it was worth the wait.

We recently used White Aluminum to replace our old lanai roof with insulated panels. They also replaced two screen doors on our lanai, our entire screened front entry, and did some rescreening of our pool enclosure. The crew was very thorough and professional. They answered all of our questions, so we knew in advance what each step of the process would be. Our new insulated panels look great! What a world of difference compared to our old roof! The new front entry looks great as well. After being satisfied with those projects, we had them come out to caulk/seal the outside of our garden shower. We highly recommend White Aluminum, and would definitely use them again in the future.

So far the rep was Professional and knowledgeable of what I wanted. I had a previous job done by another company (which is now no longer in business) and just going over the details and financials I can see a world of difference.....I DONT anticipate any problems, but will complete when job is finished...Joe M.The Villages...

I wish I had paid more attention to the poor reviews of White Aluminum prior to signing a contract with them. I have never had more of a runaround from any contractor. In April I signed a contract to have a cover put over our patio. I requested that this be done the 1st week of September as we would be out of town for several weeks. It seems reasonable to me that - given a 4 month lead time - they could have had everything in place and ready to go on time. It is too long of a story to go into detail but suffice it to say that if I had not continually called and checked on the job it would never have gotten done. I don’t know how many times got different stories and excuses. Delay was the fault of engineering/drawing/permitting in house/permitting by county/etc etc etc. On Aug 7 I was told that it had finally gone to the county for a permit when in reality the permit was not applied for until Aug. 27! Also on Aug 7 I was told the material had been ordered. It came to the point that I was not allowed to talk to anyone - the receptionist even gave me the runaround - telling me on Sept. 4 that the material had not been ordered and that I could not talk to the person I had been dealing with because it is beyond his purview, put me on hold for - a long long time. The cover was installed only 1 week late but as I said - If I had not been a complete PIA - the job still would not be done. I did give an extra star because the gentleman that did the actual work was very good.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SORRY COMPANY!!! On August 7, 2020, I signed a contract with White Aluminum to install windows on my patio and a screen onto my garage door; Mike Gilley was their salesperson. At that time, I was told by Mike that they were behind, and would get to my job, next year sometime. At no time did he tell me that I would have to pay a deposit on the job or that a charge would be placed on my credit card for the full amount of the job. Mike told me that Synchrony Bank would pay the $2500.00, and I would pay them back later. I had no idea that White Aluminum would charge me card, for the $2500.00, days later. I believe the hold on my card was done to block me from hiring someone else, to do the job.I found out on August 19th, through my email alert, that White Aluminum had placed a hold on my credit card for $8448.01, and I was furious. I contacted Mike and he claimed to not know about it and was supposed to get with the office. I called the office also and the manager was not nice at all. I dont remember the full conversation, but it was very frustrating. Then on the 21st of August, White Aluminum charged my credit card $2534.40 for the deposit. Again, I was highly upset; no one told me anything.I once again contacted the office and Mike, this time to cancel the job; I also called Synchrony Bank and told them what happened. The Representative at the bank told me to call White Aluminum and tell them I want to cancel, and to remove the hold on my account. Of course, I did and of course White Aluminum didnt. Instead, Mike called to apologize and claimed that they would move my job in front of everyone, since they had charged my card the deposit.On August 25th, Jeff from White Aluminum came to take measurement of the windows and he said he would get the application for the permit with the City put in - dont know if that ever happened because that was the last time I heard from anyone from White Aluminum.I once again contacted the office of White Aluminum in Leesburg today, October 27, 2020, about removing the hold on my credit card of $8448.01, and the charge of $2534.40. After about 10 minutes of being on hold, Christine the manager, who is very rude, came to the phone. I told her I want them to remove the hold on my card and she said, “WHY?” in a rude tone!! As I begin to explain to her why, she kept interrupting me, and we got into a shouting match and I hung up!! These people are unreasonable and all they want is money!! There is no reason why they should be able to keep my money, when they have not done any work and will not be able to in a while. I have a voicemail from Mike Gilley from Saturday, October 24th, stating they were having problems getting the windows. So why can’t they cancel the windows and remove the hold on my card? They are crooks and greedy for money. Mike lied to me in August when he said, they were putting me ahead of everyone else but now he says they cannot get the windows? He is a liar and the company should be shut down for taking people money and do bad business practices!! They 19 BBB complaints against them; they give people an estimate, take a deposit, and never show up for the job, or show up months later, half do the job, and give people problems about getting a refund!!I want White Aluminum to remove the $8448.01 hold on my Synchrony Bank Home Design credit card, and I want them to remove the charge of $2534.40, they put on that same card - I did not authorize either transaction. I do not want to do business with them; they are crooks. All the Better Business Bureau complaints and reviews prove this company is scamming people out their money!!

Lady at desk was excellent. Very helpful.

The woman behind the desk does not have a customer service attitude, rude seems she has a control problem. 5 weeks out to fix a window, wanted us to leave there, and because we in stalled no warrenty...none of the above helped but just think if she would have had a better attitude, a smile and someone on site to fix the window or tell where to take it instead of waiting 5 weeks it would have been better experience.

I needed two windows replaced that were under warranty. They kept promising me they were taking care of it, always seemed to have some kind of problem. After two years I just paid for it myself. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. It’s too bad because their product is good but their service should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Stay away from them!

Could not go in the building to show samples of my needs because the sign said you must call us due to Covid 19. How can you help someone over the phone when they need to show a sample of the color and product needed. Held on the phone standing outside the door in 95 degree heat but the inside sales person never picked up. Btw I think your business is the only one not opening doors to customers at this time.

The salesman sat at our dining room table and spoke for an hour about his 40 years with White Aluminum, his integrity, and the employees strong work ethic. We gave him a $2,000. down payment to build a lanai, and were put on a five month waiting list. Five months and two weeks later, we hadnt heard from him. I called him and was told the paperwork wasnt ready, but they would start the following week. Five days later a worker showed up and took measurements. He said that the original measurements taken by the salesman were not accurate and he left. Three days later I called, and the salesman said that he also wondered when they were going to start building. He told me he would call me the next day and let me know. He did not call the next day. The following day I asked for a refund. He said they could start building Monday, which we refused. We subsequently got the refund, but what a huge waste of time.

I had an entire new Florida room (porch, patio, sun room) replaced to get the old flexible vinyl coverings replaced with hard acrylic sliding windows. It was great but the motion light that was installed failed just shortly before the warranty was up. I called several times and I got jerked around for 2 months. They said they had to look up the contract. Then a guy came out and tested the light (during the day), saying that it was working fine. I got jerked around another month and then another guy came out and said it was not working (ha!). Another month went by while I was waiting to be put on the schedule. I finally asked for a manager and that guy told me it would be replaced with 5 days. Another 3 weeks have passed and nothing. I have made over 31 calls over the last FIVE months and still have a non-working light. I thought the job was good but now have zero confidence in this company. The customer service, when something goes wrong, is off the unsatisfied scale. I would not recommend White Aluminum.[update May 2017 - the light was finally replaced at no cost to me]

I needed aluminum for an art project and White Aluminum was the only one that had what I wanted and willing to sell me the dimensions I needed. All the other places said the quantity I want is too small. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. I will definitly ruse them when I am ready to remodel my porch.

Very Disappointed! I hired White Aluminum twice since 2005. I sold the house in which they did two excellent projects. We just bought a brand new home and want a 4 season room. White not only forgot we existed for 5 days until my return call. Then it would be another 8 days just to get a quote. And 5 months to start. Great return customer service White Aluminum!

Yep, 1 star, but it wouldnt post with NONE! No sense telling the whole story, but dont hire this company. Constant changes of personnel, and shoddy work! Stay clear!

They built a screen room for us with a solid roof and we couldnt be happier! They came in with the best bd and recommended things others didnt. We had a very small issue but they responded very fast and took care of it for us. They have done work for some our neighbors and everyone has been happy. I would go with them again in a heat beat!

It is a busy time for contractors in Ocala. I was told up front that it would be several months before construction of a screen room for me could begin. Living in the OTOW community and seeing all the new and existing home modifications going on made the wait understandable.The wait was worth it! Beautiful job and wonderful company employees .

Whites added panning and insulation on my porch and shop areas. They also sealed the Florida Room roof. They were on time, courteous, answered questions, cleaned up all their mess. Highly recommend!!!

I happened to be riding behind this guy and I saw the most racist bumper sticker on his work truck. While this might get him some new customers I hope most of Marion County will turn away.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Went in to look at material and get a quote with plans. Blond lady at customer service could not be bothered with us and was very rude and demeaning to us and guest who came after us. Obviously doesnt like her job.

I dont write reviews - but there is always a first. I flip homes in the Leesburg area so deal with multiple companies. This is one that I would never do business with. I just called to get estimates and the way that this lady talked to me was very demeaning. it is not the way you treat a customer.

We strongly recommend avoidance! We purchased a Glass room addition to our home. The roof leaked, 4 months later, the minute the rainy season started! That was 4 years ago. Each year Mark, the Manager, pledges to fix the leak,,, after repeated delays, unavailable roofing staff, the current rainy season is over and White Aluminum,, once again,, goes silent and becomes unresponsive! Take your business Elsewhere!!!

Business must be good, I phoned for an estimate, the receptionist was very pleasant, stated the salesman would call back. I spoke to the salesman, he stated he would go to the property as I could not meet him there and phone me with a bid. I told him I wanted a pergola style covering for the front patio and awnings for the 2nd story windows for my property in Eustis. I never heard from him again.
