Wonderful place for family to stay while family is in hospital

This place is a lifesaver! The stress of a child in the NICU is hard enough, this place makes everything outside the hospital just a little easier They are very welcoming and have a great facility.

A wonderful place I stayed here for 10 days while my baby was in the nicu it was a blessing and a safe place to lay my head at night the staff was wonderful and caring made everything way less stressful Thank you !

Wonderful staff, great food always out!! They keep up with the cleaning (for the most part) and they have to put up with some yucky people... thank you for being there Davids house! Not sure what I would do if it wasnt for this great establishment!

I cant say enough. This place was a life saver! My premature twins in NICU had a hard time for a few weeks. They took all the worry of traveling and outside care out of the equation. They let us focus on our newborns. One of the kindest and most caring places we have ever been too. A true godsend!

Its very nice there my grandson needed a operation and my daughter called them and explained what was going on and they had a room available for her and I and the baby. The Davids house is very close to the main hospital and the outpatient surgery center so we were glad to be a 3min drive the surgery center.

A great place to stay while you wait to find out if your child will live. Mine BEAT the cancer completely(there was only at most a 5% chance he would). They love it when guests volunteer to donate time to cook for them.

What a wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and a great cause. We stayed here the night before my daughters kidney surgery and it was great. There are multiple play areas in which she could play in. A community kitchen and bathroom as well as top notch security. We forgot her lunch box with her bottle in the fridge and they were even nice enough to overnight it to us!

I cant Express my love for the Davids house, it was my home away from home when I had twins who where very sick in the icn at Dartmouth! All and every staff is loving and caring and will listen to you and talk to you and you will always make a lifelong friend here! This is heaven for families with sick people in the hospital...you get a warm cozy bed and free home cooked meals and a roof over your head, a shower and much much more....a support like no other ...jaye and all the staff are amazing that and other parents !!

Very awesome for families who live far away and need to stay for their children’s hospital treatments. - Not to mention the lady on the phone was extremely nice and to me, that makes the whole experience more comfortable and welcoming.

DAVIDS HOUSE IS AMAZING!!! When I was having the worst and hardest time of my life they were there to help in every way possible I can never thank them for what they do for familys in need when your child is in the hospital and you have other kids its hard to do everything but they give you a place to stay so you dont have to leave your child alonethats a great gift!

Absolutely amazing place with a great & friendly staff that did what ever they could for us to see that we were as comfortable as possible.Definitely would want anyone with a child that needs care to stay at Davids house!

My daughter and son-in-law stayed here for a few months. They had premature twin boys born at 26 weeks 4 days old. Thanks to being able to stay at Davids House, there time staying near their one surviving baby was much easier. My husband and I were able to visit them there also. What a great gift this was from some very generous people! Thank you Davids House!

If you need to travel far to go to Dartmouth or need to stay for a few days then this place is definitely worth staying at to help keep you from having to drive far on top of a long day of doctors appointments. Everyone who volunteered for staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do to help keep the kids entertained which helps break up the monotony of it all. Some days they even offered food for dinner brought by a local church. Helps brighten a sometimes rough day.

My husband and I were fortunate to have Davids House available to us when our son was transferred to Dartmouths ICN shortly after birth. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and cozy. There is a shuttle to help you get to and from Dartmouth. While its unfortunate we had to utilize Davids House, I eternally grateful they were there.

The volunteers and staff really try to make it a wonderful stay. The people who stay there are disrespectful slobs. Who ruin it for others.

Great place to stay while doing anything, clean rooms and great workers and has the best stuff. Also people that go there make food for everyone and so does the staff

I am so very greatful that there is a place like Davids House. This place is a blessing when the world seems harsh and unfair. They truely understand and care. They bend over backwards for familys going through tough times. Thank you to all the staff.

This place was a Godsend when we needed to go to Dartmouth once a month from Northern Maine. The staff (volunteers) were so friendly and helpful.

What a great great wonderful place, a family member stayed here for awhile as her baby was in drtmouth for a month, and they are very accommodating, a great option for mothers of newborns who have to stay close to their babies and live far away. thank you for existing!!

I love coming to David‘s house I would stay here for the rest my life if I could the staff are always nice and they have a good selections of rooms even in elevator I would recommend staying here because it’s clean and spotless

My Daughter has JAR she has 2 specialist at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon NH, When its a long day for her we stay over night so She can rest, The people are very welcoming & makes it like a 2nd home for us...

Very quiet. very cute, learned the history on it. brief story; a child staying in CHAD was upset that some og his friends that were also in CHAD couldnt go home like he could so, before he passed away he collected money for a house for his friends. saved around 300$ in a piggy bank and donated all of it twords Davids House.

Very helpful people and awesome place to stay when your child needs medical attention at Dartmouth Hitchcock. Great atmosphere for families and convenient.
