2019 represents 20 years of my working with James and his helping me hear well in the multiple settings in which I find myself. James has always been knowledgeable about new advances in hearing technology and given me choices based on what I really need. He always makes time for me when I have an issue with an aid, and I can usually get it fixed within a few days.One big benefit has always been that the follow up service is free and I can get what I need to make things work. He has come through for me several times I REALLY needed something done within a certain time frame.The service is reliable. He is honest and forthright, and I recommend him to people who are reticent to try hearing aids. Also, there is a free 30 or 90- day free trial so there is literally nothing to lose except your fear of hearing aids.

I have been a patient at DHA for more than a year since I moved to the area. I just got new hearing aids and they are great.The service is excellent and Kathleen at the front desk is not only excellent at handling those duties of the front desk but does it promptly and with a smile.Jim explains things very well and makes sure everything is working 100% before you leave. Also very prompt to address questions or concerns.I highly recommend this office. I should also say the pricing is better than competitive.

I’ve bought three sets of hearing aids from Dartmouth Hearing Aids. Jim and I Kathleen do an excellent job of taking great care of of clients and understanding the often frustrating needs of us hearing impaired folks. JIm has a deep understanding of both the technology and the needs of hearing aid wearers. Kathleen does a fine job of making sure the office runs well and very efficiently. In a pinch she’ll even do a great repair when needed.My newest hearing aids - stiletto connect 7’s - are by far the best hearing aids I’ve ever worn. Sound quality is excellent and bluetooth works very well and very intuitively. I noticed that I cut the volume in half on my TV when these hearing aids are set to normal volume. And, more importantly, sound fidelity is much better than on previous aids.

Outstanding service and competence. Because of Jims experience in the Siemens factory, he thoroughly understands both hardware and software. I went in with a unit squeeking with feedback. In 5 minutes, he diagnosed the problem, replace a part ( the speaker), and I was on my way. Had I been using the local hospital, it would have taken 2 weeks to get an appointment with a person who would have sent it to the factory and 3 weeks lated Might have had it back.

I’ve come to Jim at Dartmouth Hearing for some 20 years. He has provided exemplary service throughout that time. He’s gone so far as to send new hearing aids to Cuenca, Ecuador, when my aids stopped working. ( We thought this was due to the elevation in Cusco, Peru, but it turned out to be a battery issue!) Another time, one of my aids needed attention, when I was in North Carolina for several weeks. I sent the aid for service to Jim, but didn’t package it well enough and it sustained damage. Jim replaced the aid for me and sent it back to North Carolina! That’s an incredible level of service!I currently wear digital blue toothed aids, which I LOVE! Via my hearing aids, I take phone calls, listen to podcasts and music, along with streaming from a variety of sites!Jim is attentive, personal, and expert at what he does. Unlike other hearing aid locations, Jim is a member of our community and his is a local business.
