This review is for the Leander location. The doctors and their entire staff are AMAZING! My family and I have received various treatment here which includes; cleanings, cavity fillings, root canal, crowns, etc. All services were performed in a timely manner and without any issues. The front desk was quickly responsive to all my questions: insurance set up process, explaining each treatment plan, processing my care credit card.. We are always treated like family. The entire staff is knowledgeable and experienced. Definitely recommend Austin Children’s Dentistry to everyone!

Im done with this place. Too big, bad internal communication, and the right hand doesnt know what the left is doing. I guess they clean teeth well enough, but if you have any issues outside of that theyll likely tell you to come back another day and talk to someone else, over and over. So exhausting. Also for a childrens practice, youd also thing theyd have a little more patient demeanor towards wiggly kids.

Been there 4 separate times, still dirty, broken equipment, great tech that worked with my kid. Feel like I was scammed into paying for sedation it wasnt effective at all my kid said she barely felt anything effect her even the laughing gas. She was ok with 4 teeth being extracted with just the numbing Injections. Were cash patients it cost me an extra 200 just for sedation meds that didnt work thanks for nothing. And it was a required because Dr. Gillham refused to do it without the so called sedation meds because he didnt feel comfortable doing it without it. I will not be taking my kids back here. Their orthodontist clinic is amazing so will continue going there for my kids braces.

I absolutely loved this place from the front desk staff to the dr himself and the nurse (I’m assuming) that helped us was amazing !We came in for my 8 month olds first dentist appointment and she NEVER allows anyone to look at her teeth but she had no issue it was such a breeze with the staff !

They were great with making my little one comfortable while she was having some caps put on and having pulp therapy done!

They are very professional and helped calm my very anxious nephew. He usually doesn’t do well during dentist visits. This visit he was able to get a cavity filled without being referred for sedation (big victory)! I highly recommend this dentistry!

My daughter went in today and we were extremely pleased with the results. She is four, so was a little nervous at first but remained calm, as they performed x-rays and a cleaning. Her previous dentist was recommending work without any x-rays, so we wanted to get another opinion. Glad we did, very pleased with Dr. Gillham and the staff.

I’ve now had two negative experiences with this office. The first one caused me to take my services elsewhere and the second happened 18 months after switching dental offices. We had received calls over the last 18 months to make an appointment for my two kids to which I had informed them that we no longer see them and have switched dental offices. At that time they were to deactivate my children’s account. Instead, I received a confirmation call today on a post op on my 5 year old son. I told them they were mistaken and that my son hadn’t had a procedure and we hadn’t gone to that dental office in over a year. They proceeded to call my husband instead and confirm the same information to which my husband responded the same. It turns out they had processed another child’s dental procedure under our insurance and my sons information and had already sent to insurance for processing. They proceeded to tell me that there was another child with the same birthday and they gave me his name (I did not ask for it) which was inappropriate. I will be escalating this further as the HIPAA breach came from a manager at the location. I highly do not recommend going to any Austin’s Children’s Dentistry.

Front staff is always receptive and follows up confirming/reminding of appointments. 2 kids (11 & 17) feel comfortable going for checkups and dental work.

Our two older girls, 11 and 7, have been coming here for a few years now and our 1 year old just had her first appointment. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The doctor is wonderful with the kids. The doctor sang the “this is the way we brush our teeth” song the whole time for my 1 yr old and she did great! Definitely recommend Austin Children’s Dentistry in Leander!!

Great experience! We were in and out quickly but efficiently, everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful.

Everyone is helpful with a cheery disposition. The dentist was AMAZING! My daughter needed a tooth extracted and it went so smoothly. The dentist explained what she was doing, but in a way that didn’t frighten her. I wish she could be my dentist!!

Best team of staff Ive ever seen our hygienist was out of this world outstanding so patient and caring and actually got the job done! I am so impressed with the staff here and would recommend 100 out of 100 time!!! Thank you guys!!!

Always a friendly staff that are sweet to my children. They take their time, and make you feel like they care about their patients instead of other places that rush you out the door. The front lobby is nice with a TV, arcade machine, coloring station, and books. The rooms are nice with nice furniture and TVs.

My daughter says she likes the staff and my daughter gave it a four just because let’s face it who likes to get a cavity filled. She likes the bubblegum mask they gave her to go home with and loves the prize she got very much. I was very pleased how patient and kind the dentists were with her. So I made it a five star rating. 😁👍🏼 Definitely would recommend to anyone with children to come to this location.

It was incredibly clean, staff was very friendly and professional, the Dentist was very good, kind, understanding, and professional as well. I highly recommend this office!

I understand that COVID has placed a strain on all types of businesses as they try to adjust how they operate, but if you only allow one parent in with the child/patient, please be sure to make it known so that parents aren’t taking time off work just to sit in the parking lot.

All three of my kids have been going there for the past three years and they have always been good to us. Taking really good care of my babies. The customer service with the entire staff is great. The way it used to be when I was a kid. They make the kids comfortable and if they need an extraction they do it without scaring them. Makes going to the dentist easy. No dragging of feet when I say we have to go. Love them 😁😁

I always have had a good experience at the leander location. This time, assistant Ariel and Dr. Gillham were absoulutly amazing. I have a routy bunch of kiddos and they were so patient and kind. My kids now love going to the dentist!

This place is great for taking the little ones to dentist. My 5yr old is very anxious and scared of dentist yet this place seemed make him feel alot better to go. All the staff is welcoming and great attitudes. Our dentist Lynn Vuu took her time with us and made sure all our questions were answered. Id recommend this place to my friends and family.

Every single one of my six kids loves Austin Childrens Dentistry. They are able to see us in one single visit and never seem put out that I have so many kids. My kids look forward to every visit because of the games in the lobby. Its always clean and organized. We opted to go to the Orthodontics office in that same office as well, which is wonderful since they can transfer me if I call the wrong number!

We have had great experiences here! From being promptly greeted by the warm and friendly staff to being entertained by the arcade game, movies and dance floor...we love it!! The staff is what makes a great experience! Its a very clean and safe area for children to navigate. #cheers to bright smiles!

My 4-year-old daughter visited Austin Childrens Dentistry in Leander for the first time and had an extremely positive experience. She was instantly greeted by the staff upon entering, which made her very comfortable before her appointment even began. The hygienist and doctor acknowledged her stuffed animals by name and made her feel very special. She left the office informing everyone about her dentist, Dr. Diana, and how they shouldnt eat too much junk food. Thank you all for allowing her to have such an incredible experience!

The doctors and staff are so helpful and polite. My daughter saw Dr. Moreno for a cavity filling, she was great with her! My daughter was very anxious about the procedure and the doctor and assistant went above and beyond to make sure that she knew what they were going to do and showed her all of the tools before starting. A very pleasant experience, I encourge you to give this practice a try.

Got my bill last week. $1 charge for brushing lessons we didnt ask for nor recieved. $1 charge for having to put his teeth were in need of urgent care due to an abscess that formed. I understand why get mad at $2 extra charge but I feel that should have been included in the $97 office visit. Not going back to a place that charges for every single thing. Such a rip off.

I started taking my two girls (5 & 7) to the Leander location in June 2017. My youngest was very anxious and started crying. Lisa and Dr. Moreno were wonderful. They explained to her what they were going to do and demonstrated it on her fingers. They even let her try. They both had small cavities but Dr. Moreno recommended a mouthwash and to check back next appointment to see if they have gotten worse. I didnt feel like they were trying to sell unnecessary procedures. They made my girls feel special and relaxed. Recommend them highly.

Moved out of State 5 months ago. My kids havent been to that dentist since last Summer. Yet, just got a bill that said it was 90 days past due. However, in the remarks says 1st notice. Also the bill was for a treatment that I was told was covered under Insurance and that they called and verified it with my insurance. This isnt even the 1st time this has happened! Its the 2nd or 3rd. Every statement I have received from my ins. company regarding this dentist always says 0 balance owed.So, I call the office to figure it out. The lady helping me was of no assistance. She was unnecessarily rude. She got really loud and started talking over me, and arguing with me! I never sign anything medical without approval my insurance 1st! Being that this has happened on multiple occasions, I am willing to bet your staff is not doing as they tell your patients and actually getting insurance approval 1st.I never liked going there but, unfortunately it was 1 of the few on my provider list and was close. Thankful to never have to deal with them again!I have also filed a complaint against them with the BBB and my insurance provider. A 1 star rating is too high. However, you have to rate something in order to comment. Never take your kids there or you may have pay more and not know about it for 9 months!

I think the Dr Liz was excellent. She was very calming to my daughter who had to receive caps on her teeth and was nervous. She let me know step by step exactly what she was going to do, and making sure I understood.

We just love Austin Childrens Dentistry and Austin Family Orthodontics. Dr. Peters and his staff are just super nice and always make us feel that they are genuinely glad to see us. We always look forward to going to our appointments. I cant recommend enough.

I am so impressed with this dentists office. We had a horrible experience at another pediatric dentist, so we were looking for a change. The entire staff here are awesome, explained everything to my 5 year old (who has high anxiety), and made her comfortable through the entire process. I would highly recommend this dentists office to anyone, even those with high-stress, high-anxiety children.

The staff at Austin Childrents Dentistry in Leander is always friendly. They are nearly always able to accommodate appointment times with our busy family schedule. I recently learned of the Saturday appointment option. We will be taking advantage of this next time. The doctor is extremely kid-friendly and has an excellent bed-side manner. They hygienists are not rough with cleanings. My child enjoys going to the dentist. I would highly recommend this dentist to friends and family.

We have been to this Leander location twice now and they were great with my girls (ages 5 & 7) on both occasions! We live in north Cedar Park, so this location is quickest for us to get to without the hassle of traffic. I love that the first appt is at 730am too! I have a 1 yr old as well, and there is just no way I could take all the kids in the afternoon after school to the dentist.. that would be a train wreck for us! Unlike when I was a kid, my kids look forward to going to the dentist, and thats the way it should be.

My daughter loves ACD. Very friendly, great staff,very clean, and well organized!! We have never had any problems.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. We waited for over an hour and decided to leave. We had an 8am appointment for a promotional free exam. I guess because it was free they decided we werent important enough to attend to. When we first walked in, the girl upfront said oh you guys dont have insurance right? with this sarcastic condescending voice. Since when does not having dental insurance give employees a pass to patronize patients? While waiting in a room for the dentist, numerous employees kept walking by and saying any minute now, sorry for the wait. We even overheard someone in the hallway say oh, well theyre only here for the free promotional. Excuse me???? As if someone else had mentioned our wait time and her response implied they dont really matter anyway. Why even advertise free exams and/or promotions if youre just going to treat your potential future patients like crap? We will definitely be looking elsewhere.

I have been to this dentist for my kids since they have moved to this location and have never been made to wait for more than 15mins but today i showed up for my twins checkup 15min early and have seen 4 people who showed up after me be helped befor me and my family it is now 21 minutes past my appointment time if familys show up more than ten minuets late they should have to reschedule not push back the people who show up on time
