I came in to get a bill issue resolved and apparently the technician chose to change the free service call to a billed one of his own volition. Then I come to dispute the charge and get told they can’t do anything and I have to call Comcast anyway. What the hell is the point to having this “service” center then.

It was a good experience. Kaz was very understanding and listened. My problems may or may not be solved, well see but he did find a solution that was $5 rather than $15 per month extra. Idk, I feel its so expensive altogether. I feel that they could offer these services at half the cost but Im not in their financial dept.

What a change from the old store! I really enjoyed the bright clean store, polite customer service representatives. We were taken to a private office as we had a lot if work to do. In fact it took about two hours to change our services. The manager and agent were very helpful, polite and even though it took a while they were very hands on with us all the time. Comcast has changed for the better.

NO service and no way to speak to a person, they dont care just takes money. The auto system tells you to plug the cable in to reset. That was done before I called. It did not work. I cant be without internet!!

They were good but, they dont work well with fixed income budget people and they need to work better at giving their workers more training at better Customer Service not So much at the Pay Stations but, on the Phone and give more Customer Service rights to their workers in the Pay Stations.?!! Also keep track better and keep better Records on their Customers payment arrangements as well as the customers Credits and Payments too.!!

Great customer care. Very updated decor. And helpful staff. Wait times can sometimes be a bit long. But theres tons of seating. And large staff trying to get to you quickly. YOU CAN SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS. I havent done it. I usually walk in, but it is available

I went in on behalf of my mother to cancel TV and phone service but keep internet. The greeter was nice and prompt. There was a woman berating two other employees at the other end of the store over something trivial, but they handled her like champs. The lady I got was pretty nice, too. Did exactly what I wanted and didnt push me into some other plan like I was expecting. Overall a great experience.

I went in the office and got a plan change for $45, per their loyal customer plan. I was told that the equipment and other fees will not apply. I just got the bill for $65. I chat online to ask for an explanation and was told that the $45 plan wont start until next month and that I have to pay for the equipment and other fees. And since its not his fault, I shouldnt ding him on the feedback. Im not dinging him, just the office I went in. It was the quiet, slender lady who handled my plan. Be sure to review every item on the plan before you finalize it.

I have had Comcast in the past. They were fine. After being raked over the coals by these guys I would never make that mistake again. They failed to set up our line correctly and tried to charge us for the four times that technicians came out to fix it. The fifth guy finally looked and said that it had never been hooked up correctly. This was within the first month. They showed up before their allotted 12:00 to 6:00 time period and made us reschedule, cancel our plans and wait for another appointment, to which they didnt show up at all. After all of this hassle, they lied to us about their promotion that we signed up for. Though it was supposed to last for 1 year, it expired in 5 months. The bill was absolutely ridiculous. After waiting on the phone to speak with their customer service reps for over an hour, they told me that there was nothing they could do, refused to allow me to speak to a manager and hung up on me twice. They were absolutely rude and miserable to work with.Beware of these con-artists..........

Cancelled my service last month when it hiked up after the promotional period and I tried to get a lower price, but the rep said no way. I took everything back. A few days later I still had service and was told it takes a few days to turn it off, but I wont be charged, I get a few free days. She asked me if I wanted to keep the service for the original price, which would have been nice to hear before, but Id already returned the equipment. She went on to tell me that in addition, I will receive a refund for a bit over $20. I was happy, even though the service discontinued a day earlier than I was instructed. I didnt mind that, but it should have been a sign of things to come.Today I received a bill for over $200. I called and talked to a representative named Ethan and explained I needed to speak to a manager. He hung up on me without saying a word. Theyd better hope to hell they monopolize soon or theyre really going to be hating it with the service reps theyre hiring now.

If you want a service provider that will randomly jack up your prices without telling you, this is your provider! If you want a provider that will not credit you for that dishonest practice, this is your provider! If you want a provider that will then try to sell you a better cheaper plan, that has taxes and fees that they skip over (which make it much more expensive) this is your provider! If you want an internet and phone company that has connection so bad you cant hardly understand any one there when you call because of all these issues, this is your provider! If all this doesnt sound like your dream come true then you should definetly go find a different provider because this description fits this company to aT.

After months of dealing with inept technical support agents (literally hours over the last month) I finally decided to go into the local Xfinity store. There was a little bit of a wait and I admittedly didnt go in with the best attitude. But when they finally called my name and walked me over to the desk, I was cordial. She asked how she could help and I told her that it would be best to start with pulling my account up and seeing for herself the issues Ive had, the number of times Ive called the 800 number, and what has been done up to that point. Afterwards she apologized profusely. I told her that I understood that it isnt her fault but that if Im going to pay $190 per month for services then I would really love to have even just one month problem free. She gave me an upgraded wireless set top box and told me that she would be issuing a credit to my account for the troubles. I dont know if she did and honestly, Im ok if it didnt get added because I got more done there in 30 minutes than I have spending hours on the phone with agents reading from a script. I also have a tech coming out (again) this week now that I know there other problem that just compounded bad equipment. I will definitely do everything possible now to never call that 800 number again and will just deal with people face to face. Hopefully this is the end of my problems and if it isnt, at least Im treated like Im more than just another phone call with the.

Depends on who you get is to how your service is. I want there to return or exchange an old receiver and was given a receiver that didnt work. Had to go back and get another one. That time I got one that worked. Overall they are not perfect but theyre much better than the competitor.

Worst customer service Ive ever encountered. Its like they actively try to be unhelpful by making it difficult to talk to an actual person. They talked my brother into putting his account on hold while he deployed with the military instead of canceling service, then proceeded to charge him $16 per month (which they failed to mention beforehand). He couldnt do anything because he was out of the country and they wouldnt let me cancel it. Cant wait for some other company to come in and destroy them. I will never give another cent to Comcast.

Worst ever. I set up auto debit on the account. They auto deduct less than I own then charge a late fee on the rest.The lines have been down in the yard for 5 days. Weve called tech support and opened 5 tickets. They close the ticket without showing up.

The service itself is excellent. There were a few outages in the years I had it, but nothing serious. They were handled efficiently even if it didnt seem fast enough at the time.I have only two problems. One, the price is astronomical. Monopoly, etc.The other problem occurred when I tried to move. Cancelled service at old address, started at new. Turns out you have to set up an entirely new account when you move. I was never able to do so. Their nearest available technician appointment was a week out and I was looking to cut my costs so I went with DSL.They came in three days and are half the cost.

Fantastic experience. This particular service center has a digital check-in and queue, so you can monitor where youre at in line and therefore estimate how much longer youll have to wait before youre helped. Ive been in three times in the past several weeks, and each visit has been a pleasant experience. The customer service representatives with whom Ive dealt have been knowledgeable and courteous.I was paying $77.95/month plus takes and fees for high-speed Blast! internet (105/mbps) alone. When I went into the service center to return my old modem, I was offered a new plan -- Blast! Internet, the Digital Starter cable package, and ALL of the HBO channels for a total of $69.99/month. Incredible deal. I would highly recommend Comcast to family and friends, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this specific service center in Layton, Utah.

Beware --- They are offering a $250.00 card for signing up. You have to sign up for a bundle that is pretty expensive. I am happy with the service but its getting the $250.00 card. Its been since June 2015 and I still dont have it --- its lost in the mail. Their customer service person said that she cant help where the card goes once it is at the post office. Now it will be another 30 days waiting. I wonder if I will ever get it. I have looked online -- and it looks like there have been several problems with customers getting their cards.

I am waiting to return my equipment and there is only one person working while 2 others are training or something and 24 people are waiting!!! Worst customer service I have ever tried to speak with. Had Internet and phone service with them because it was the only high speed available to my home. Sold the home and now need to return the system. If I still lived in the home (West Jordan) they would come pick it up or send me a return box but because I have moved to Ogden now I need to drive to Layton to return the product and only during there hours of business. I actually have a credit on my account because I always paid early. They wont issue a reimbursement until the system is returned and then it can take up to 45 days.

There really needs to be a zero star option. Any positive reviews have to be fake. If you are even considering going with these lying thieves, HEED MY WORDS. They will tell you anything to get your account information. Once they have it, buckle up. You will need to check your account constantly waiting for them to strike. My bill went up $50 without authorization or notice. When I signed up, I asked every way I knew how to make sure my bill wouldnt be going up and I was assured it wouldnt. Im such a sucker. I have heard a lot about Comcasts poor technical service. I can definitely say that the process of getting through the Xfinity automated system to talk to a human being was incredibly frustrating; it took two calls and a lot of going around in circles. The customer rep who helped me, though, was very to the point and friendly. He jumped through the required hoops (like asking me if I wanted to upgrade packages) but he did this quickly without pressure and actually did the main part of his job, which was HELPING me with what I needed. I am a brand-new customer so I might change this rating later depending upon future experience.

First, Id like to say, Ive been a customer of Comcast/Xfinity for a few years. Some of my experiences have been pleasant, others have been terrible. Two years ago (2014) while out of state caring for my grandparents under hospice trying to get an extention on my payment while I wasnt working, my husband was the only source of income (note: we had never been late on ANY payment, always on-time, full balance) I had the worse service from the reps, hung up on 2-3 times. I had to contact corporate and a man named Mark N. was really nice and helpful with getting everything straightened out.Fast forward to last week, I recently moved and had to take my lease in to the office in Layton, UT to verify I am really the current occupant, since the previous tenant failed to disconnect their service (wasnt a big deal, I had no problem doing this). I was being helped by Toni (who was very nice, helpful) and Gina was nice as well. But Ms. Melinda, oh boy! Not sure if she was the manager, the more tenured rep or what. But Melinda really ought to undergo some advanced customer service training! Maybe she was having a bad day, but her attitude was TERRIBLE, not just to me (who, was not being waited on by her anyhow.. but she just barged her way in taking over Toni and Gina helping me), but she (Melinda) was also rude (in my opinion) to the other customers in her line! The most snobbiest, Im right, youre wrong attitude I have ever seen. NEWSFLASH: the customer is always right! And even if theyre wrong make them feel like theyre right! Comcast I encourage you to revamp your training and continue training courses throughout employment with customer service /people skills for your customers sake !!!

I do not open until 10 my appointments have all be scheduled for 10-12 but the first time they showed up at 8 and my second appointment was scheduled for two weeks out instead of the same week again for 8.

We have had Comcast for years, primarily because they have the best internet. However, service at the local store in Layton in a nightmare. Four days ago, we had to upgrade our equipment and change service for a better rate. One of the equipment pieces stopped working after 2 days - online support could not help. Took it back to the Layton store today, and replacement equipment is still not working correctly. We have been to store 3 times today, and on phone to store twice, plus 2 calls to 800 number, and just finished a 2 and half hour chat with technician on line. It is not the equipment, but the store set up on our account was wrong to begin with, and some services were shut off by store personnel in doing our upgrade. A zero would be better rating.

Horrible customer service. They tell you one thing on the phone and you get a bill but it is different. I was told they would waive the extra charges but the next months bill had no credit. When I called in to see why there was no credit they had record of my previous call but notes from the call show no mention of extra charges being waived. Asked several times to talk to a supervisor to see why the documented phone call was inaccurate and told there is no supervisor. I guess they can say what they want on the phone, put something else in the notes and there is no accountability. Just waiting for this contract Im stuck in to end.

Worst experience Ive had with anyone. They gave me an appointment for today saying theyd come around sometime between 8-10am. It came around to about 11:30 and I called customer service to ask what was going on and they told me that the appointment is still today and that they must just be running late. I waited at home until 3pm for the xfinity guys to show up before calling the customer service again and the guy tells me that they rescheduled my appointment 4 days later without notice. So I sat at home all day for no reason. Worst experience ever. I would not recommend to anyone.

Bill was always more than they say/advertised, fees, services, none of which they mention...blah freakin blah, anything to get more money from you, its never simple or easy. They give credits on your bill that you, still, have to call or go in and fight for the very next month...after month. And then, they move channels you had, to another package you now, have to pay MORE for just to have them...again. I gave up. Im done with them. If you could give no stars, i would still give less. Comcast is dishonest and lacks integrity altogether.#1 It took Comcast 3 months to cancel my serivces when I moved. Best of all, they charged me for those 3 months!!#2 We moved 6 months ago and just received a call today to return my equipment or I would owe $170! Seriously? 6 months ago I even asked about the equipment return and told I didnt have to return anything.#3 Probably the biggest NIGHTMARE. It was almost impossible to get my landline number ported from Comcast to my new company. Comcast making all sorts of claims that my number was locked and such. I filed a complaint with the FCC and suddenly the porting process worked just fine.The Internet service they provide is good enough, but customer service and integrity leave much to be desired.

Well I like the speed of my Xfinity internet. And my Xfinity mobile is nice as well. However after spending an hour on the phone with support about an issue with my phone I was told I had to take it to a service center to have the issue verefied. I got there and even though there were very few customers there I had to wait almost 20 minutes before anyone even helped me and then after looking at the issue they said We arent sure why phone support had you come in there isnt anything we can do to fix your issue so that was a waste of a half hour drive each way and my time there not good service at all.

Every horror story you have ever heard about their customer service is true! After centrelink doubled my bill when the promotion was over and wouldnt lower at I switched after seven years with Qwest. My first order with Comcast was cancelled by the customer service rep who placed it with no explanation. My second order was in put it in correctly with the wrong modem and the wrong services. My third order talking to their sales department while the technician was installing the cable, corrected everything that was done before but charged me the wrong price because I was a existing customer. This is while the technician is still running the cable in my house. The next day I was told I had to talk to the infamous customer retention / account management team, of which everybody has heard of giving the worst customer service. I have two phone calls, both recorded, the first a person hangs up on me after an hour of not solving my problem. The second one the lady will not transfer me to her supervisor! I have a half hour of may I speak to your supervisor and her saying may I place you on hold. For a half hour! I finally had to call and threaten to disconnect less than 24 hours after installing it in order to get the correct services and fees. This is what happens with deregulation and no competition in the market place.

I switched from Direct TV to Comcast and I regret it!!! I signed up for automatic payments AND that was a MISTAKE. I originally signed up for streaming TV. But there were gaps in the programs. AGT, Naked & afraid, The Voice. I was watching then boom the program would skip the judging, or skip ahead right in the middle of a commercial. So I canceled the streaming TV and ordered a typical system with cable box and remotes. The box didnt work so the tech needed to come back the next day. Since he came the next day I was charged $70 for a call out. Then $423 came out of my account. I was charged $78 FOUR times!! Plus the $70, plus $155 for regular programming! I WAS TOLD 30 DAY FREE trial TO SEE IF I LIKED IT. PS I DONT!So $648 to switch from Direct TV to Comcast. I was told they could give me a check but it would take 6 to 8 weeks. Plus Direct TV charged me $95 to cancel my account. I was with Direct TV since 2008. So I switched to save $30 per month BUT IT COST ME $743 FOR COMCAST FREE TRIAL!!!!!!!!!Im NOT giving advice of who to go through, but it was a VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS. My wifes debit card, my moms MasterCard, and some how my debit card TWICE, plus I paid 10 days early... So they TOOK 5 monthly payments AND it took 2 1/2 months to get my money back!If I could do it again... Comcast. Internet speed is 175+; CenturyLink was 7.5-- thats it. Not even 8! Im married with three teen daughters! We couldnt even stream one movie on netflicks AND if anyone else signed in...forget it! PLUS...comcast 29$ FOR SUPERDUPERHIGHSPEED!... CenturyLink $84$ for crawling slow performance! Not a difficult decision.

Worst customer service. I would give 0 stars since they are so bad. Had a problem with a box and they said they would send a new one out. After not receiving it for weeks we called to see if they could track it. Rep said they couldnt track packages. We all know every company or any person can track a package they either sent or are waiting to receive. So they sent out another one and I got two boxes shortly after. I figured since they cant track it im not going to go out of my way to send it back. Well, they can track it and I was charged for having two boxes. I then asked an associate at this location if they could track packages and she said they indeed could. Just proves this company allows customer reps to say whatever to make the customer get off the phone.

The worse, and most dishonest company out there!!!! Trying to do a Christmas present for my boys and get tv and internet. Tell me to bring in my lease to prove Im notthe previous tenant. Set up services then a week later they shut them off and tell me I need to pay $422 from the previous tenant in order to get services back! Um no!

Most rude customer service i have ever received. Trying to make a payment to reconnect service and it was $24 short of what they were asking. Was put on hold for over ten minutes when asking to speak with a manager. Rep came back on phone and told me her manager said the same thing, didnt even let me speak with them. Asked for a local office adfres and the rep told me to google it. My service is shut off, how am i supposed to do that!?!? I was a customer for over 2 years and this is how you treat me? Horrible company, can t work w/ you when you have a struggle. Well comcast, you lost a customer that may pay late but always pays. Not good business sense.

I have been a Comcast xfinity customer for about a year and a half. My frustration comes from two main areas: 1.) Incompetence- when hardware needed replacement they sent the wrong device, even after it was verified to me. 2.) Consistent surprises- fees, rate increases, and new charges show up on the bill almost every month.Overall I am very disappointed in my overall Comcast experience and will not recommend them to anyone, unless they work for Comcast. I will continue to seek out a better internet experience from a competitor and abandon Comcast as quick as I can.

I havent even gotten service from them yet but their web site nickel and dimes you for installation, ordering the device, setting up the device, renting equipment. So instead of having the technician show up with the equipment they want to charge you to ship it to you, then charge you to send a technician, then charge you to rent their equipment. If you want to set it up yourself they still charge you for it.... Really?

The price I got for the internet isnt bad, however there are literally always internet outages and Xfinity can never be bothered to notify me, I just wake up and I have no internet connection. I had time Warner Cable when I was in NC and there literally was never an outage, even in hurricane winds I had internet! So Xfinity literally has no excuse for all these outages, Im sick of it.

Beware - Comcast is crooked and will bully you any way they can. Heres my experience:Over two years ago we tried their service with a 30 day guarantee of service satisfaction. We were not satisfied from the first few days.First, their signal was so poor about a third of the channels couldnt be viewed. Second, they were supposed to install a new line to the house since the line they used was about 25 years old. Comcast never installed the new line. Third, when we shipped back all of their equipment, in two prepaid boxes they provided, Comcast accused us of keeping some of their equipment. Its all encrypted!!#!! What would we do with your crappy equipment and crappy signal anyway?And to top it all off, Comcast doesnt believe us. Nope, they send our account to a slimy collection agency to collect on the value of their already refurbished equipment they hooked up. Not just one agency. The first one gave up after 18 months and put a non payment on my credit report. Thanks for that! My auto loan cost us more. And yes, I have proof.Now there is a second agency pestering us on my private cell phone. Dont know how they got that number. And im sure this second collections company will put another ding on my credit report.If you are thinking of subscribing to comcast, Id really search for a better deal at Dish or DirecTV. Save yourself some extreme frustration! Do not support this crooked company!

Life long customer for 25 plus years! Two weeks after my upgraded service to Xfinity 1 platform I still have no service to my secondary TV box. They have sent out a replacement but can not activate it either for some reason. They can see its there but cant do anything other then that. Fed up with them today after taking my lunch to talk to them yet again even after a two hour conversation with 6 different people last night when finally one of them just hung up on me. The reps have been nice, but not helpful in solving my problem. The solution today was to send out a tech at my expense to find the issue, they absolutely would not waive the fee even though one of the customer service reps stated she would last night... interesting. Also was told last night they could not schedule a tech to come out... what does that mean??? Ever... oh not unless I pay I guess. One is available in two days.. nice. Did I mention they shut off my old DVR service 4 days before my new equipment arrived? Yup good service. I am regretting upgrading, it has been a horrible experience. The equipment I cant get working is now boxed up and waiting to ship back... I am contemplating just boxing everything up and calling it quits with them. Not worth the aggravation!

Great internet horrible customer service!!! Would say if there was a different company to pick from I would except quests customer service and Internet is a joke at least with Comcast u get a good product.
