I took my truck to this place due to 5 star ratings. I got my truck back with dirt still on it and the windows and mirrors streaked. If I wanted to have to wash and detail it myself, I would not have paid them over $200. Also, after dropping it off, they tried to upset after I asked for the works. My understanding was that my truck would be cleaned thoroughly. After waiting 5 hours for the truck, they told me that they didnt clean out the beds of trucks. I am seriously displeased with the service and cleanliness of my truck. I will never return to this place again.

I used to love coming here and had monthly memberships for all my vehicles. I feel that the quality has gone down over the last several months. The last month I have been coming the vacuums never work and the bug removal spray is always broken too and hardly any clean towels. Whenever I go try to talk to management there is only a sign on the desk saying no one is available. I would love to come here since it is close to where I live but not with how it is right now. Sorry for the poor review. I wish I could give it a 5 star because it used to be that way.

I really liked this place when they first opened. Vacuums are broke, the have been replace with shop vacs. Paid 15 bucks for their premium wash and I’m going to have to take it to another car wash because it’s still dirty.

Nice Carwash. Great vacuum area too. The staff never check the sticker for unlimited wash so Im not sure how they make money.Next to impossible to get anyone on the phone to change your subscription.

I have going to this place sense they opened and they have gone down the tubes. The last 4 times I have been to the drive through has been very poor service. The people that spray the car off dont even care and my suv has been only 25% less cleaner after it runs through the wash and now the vacuum system is completely down????? I went there today and Im not going back again!!!

Walked in to discuss detailing my car. No one at the counter. Sat on the comfy couch for 15 minutes. No one came. Finally, I left.

I have to start off by saying the customer service was super good and they were very nice an apologetic when it took 2 hours extra. I specifically asked to get the seats done extra well because there were some dog hairs that were spread throughout! When I glanced at the car after they were done it looked fine until I got in the car and saw that it was still such a mess they didn’t even do my dashboard and the seats still have a bunch of food stuck to them and under the seats was never done! I am super disappointed with how it came out especially with how much I paid!

Brought my car at 0900 and was told it would be done in 4hrs… came and picked it up at 2pm to find out it was never worked on… was told it would take 4 more hrs (2pm + 4 hrs = 6pm) but was given a discount which I did appreciate… what I did not appreciate was getting a phone call asking me to come pick up the car at 5pm because they closed at that time. Google says you’re open until 8pm (update please) and also didn’t appreciate feeling like I was the one holding the place open after having my car there for 8hrs. Great detail, but not the best customer service.

Husband purchased a complete detail for me for Mother’s Day. Brought my car in and I am not impressed. They shined my inside but didn’t wash seats. Spots from food were all Over my seats. They halfway vacuumed. Still found popcorn by the seatbelt buckles. Grass on the back of my seats. Receptionist was helpful and had someone come back out and wash the seats while I waited in the lobby. If you do come, when they are “finished” you need to make sure you walk through the car with the receptionist before your ride leaves. I won’t return though. I have had far better details at other businesses. It was not worth the money. When I went to leave I noticed my seat kick covers were missing. The kind gentleman that was helping fix the previous detailers mistakes was finally able to find them but I just found that my front seat is missing my gap cover. I called and spoke to receptionist and I sent a photo to the receptionist of what it looks like but haven’t heard back. Now I have to put more money out to purchase something I had previously because this horrible detail worker removed items from my car and never returned them. A phone call back from gorilla shine telling me that at least looked for my belongings would have been nice.

The manager Austin is phenomenal. I was out here to surprise my son for his 20th birthday and I wanted to get his car washed and detailed. Austin dropped everything for me as I was here from out of town for only a short time. As a small business owner myself I always want to take the time to speak well of another small business when I had a good experience. Additionally, I appreciate other clients that review businesses so when I’m looking I feel safe to utilize that business. Went in for a complete detail on my car. With 3 kids in and out of it, it was as filthy as you could imagine. Momo detailed my car and did a fantastic job. She cleaned the spots I didn’t even know were parts of the cleaning! She popped my hood and I had a cleaned engine as well. She went above and beyond for my car and I really appreciate it. She even cleaned my car seats! Thanks for the great service guys!

Very sad! They have gone down hill with service on the car wash side. Things are broken. Wash seems to not get anything clean. They sign you up for services then next month stop the services and still charge you. But to get it corrected you can’t find anyone to help out!! Sounds like a case of fraud!!!

This place is amazing! They went above and beyond my expectations. Momo and Jordan had my car looking like it came out of a brand new car lot. They removed a hard to remove stain, all the crumbs out of the cracks of the knobs, and I’m pretty sure they cleaned my sunglasses because they were spotless!I will definitely be going here again.

I have a lifted and modified truck and this placed was amazing, my truck always was clean and don’t get scratches when I was using the carwash, but the last few weeks this place is bad and is getting worse. The carwash it’s not cleaning the cars and is just spraying water. I need to clean the truck with rags by my self also the vacuums are really bad, my vacuum at home is stronger. My truck it’s full of scratches now. This place it was amazing but now I don’t recommend to use the carwash unless you want get scratches in your car.I hope in the future they will be the same like they were before!

We started using the self serve wash, rinsed the whole car and turned it to the soap setting, after waiting a minute there was still no soap. I went to find someone inside and she said she would try to figure out why. She came back and said he manager told her it’s out of soap. I said okay, so what should I do? And no answer other than I’m not sure. She got an attitude when I was frustrated and mentioned they should put a sign up then so people know and she said I get it, but it’s not my fault and walked away. Not a great experience and now I have a wet black vehicle 👎🏼

Went on a Sunday and got a great car wash! I really love the vacuum system setup they have. Gave me enough time to clean out and organize my car. Definitely want to get a membership with them because my car deserves the best 😊

I got my car back after the interior was cleaned as intended, but something was wrong with the gear shift, cd player, and cruise control. They were all working when I dropped the car off (in other words: the shift on D was working and both the CD and the cruise were not turning on and off automatically). I went back to talk with the staff about it, to see what the problem was. The lady at the front did say it may be because of the cleaners they used and so wanted me to pay for additional expenses. Why didnt they tell me or text me during the cleaning of any problems with the car? They charged more than $200 for it.Later i found my work badge on the floor of their garage where they took my car and the staff had nothing to say about it.I showed my car to mechanics and they said it shouldnt spontaneously malfunction like that. I am very respectful and reasonable. I wish someone would talk to me about it

I had gone here to get my car detailed. To me it wasnt worth the money I had paid. $130 to do interior only. It looks like they were rushed as they didnt clean the windows fully, and you can tell they used a dirty rag to wipe everything down. While my seats do look better than before, Ive had it done much much better at a cheaper price too. I went to these guys because they could get me in the same day, whereas my other guy was a week out. Two stars since they got me in the same day and had a friendly staff.

If you have Cody working the car wash, then it’s your lucky day, seriously! I’ve had a membership here for about 6 months. I’ve always had good service but this guy was doing a killer job. He went above and beyond to get anything that may not come off in the wash and still managed to do it quick. I’m so impressed that I decided to go inside to grab some cash so I could give him a tip and they gave me his name.It’s actually really easy to tip here with a card. You can just go inside after going through and they have a receipt similar to a restaurant where you can just write it in.I moved and could get a membership to a place closer to home but I make the trip for better service.

BEST DETAIL EVER! I am SOO happy with how my car turned out! Between my kids, my Great Pyrenees and the fact that I live on a farm, I never would have thought my car would look brand new again! But it looks AMAZING!! Highly recommend!!

I used to come here in a regular basis to use their self service wash, but the last 4 times over about a month, I have been there, the chemical mix seems to have been off and didnt clean as well as it should, the spot free hasnt worked, and most recently the power washer didnt work correctly and spot free didnt work at all.The vacuums also were spotty the last time I was there with one side having about 85% less suction than it should.I cant comment on the other servicea they offer, but their self service is not longer worth it, go to patriot on 193

I tried out gorilla car Wash just because theyre close I usually use quick quack.They brush wash front the side your wheels all over before you go through the wash. To make sure the car is completely clean.They do have free vacuums but they have something that quick quack doesnt.they have baskets of clean towels for you to do the inside of your car with not just a little wet nap.For me, quick quack washers your car.Gorilla details it.Gorilla has just earned a full-time customer.

Love this place i came down here with my motorcycle and they got me right, my bike came in after a day of riding in strait dirt and mud and they had my bike looking like it came off of the dealer show room, i was super happy and satisfied and i know you guys will be too definitely the best detailers and wash in layton city, will definitely be seeing me again 😁

Fantastic car wash!! Even the side mirrors are CLEAN!! This car wash is excellent!! We bought a monthly pass with no regrets!! They have one to two people at the entrance to the wash spraying and scrubbing before you enter which is a great extra touch! When your car is exiting the wash it exits very slowly, much slower than most car washes, and your car comes out pretty dry!! Weve tried many car washes around Davis County and this is BY FAR the best!!

I cannot say enough about the amazing service I received from this place. My day started with a gallon of paint spilling all over the back of my car, I called several places including the dealership where I got the car and they all said that it would never come out. Then I called Gorilla Shine, Camron told me to bring it over. A few short hours later and you cant even tell it ever happened. Camron and the guys were amazing, I only wish I had taken a before picture. This is an after shot so imagine what it looked like with a 1/4 inch puddle of paint covering almost all of it. Again I want to thank Cameron and the crew at Gorilla Shine for doing what many ( including the dealership) said was impossible.

Best car wash for the money. They scrub your car down pretty good before you even get in the tunnel, and they always have rags next to the vacuum for whatever else you need to clean.

Rueben was amazing!! My wife had an appointment for another detailing service who never showed up for our appointment mobile. We decided to take our van to Gorilla Shine. My wife and I drove 20 minutes to drop it off. They were slammed with business and hardly had parking. We left the car for about 5 hours. When we arrived to pick it up I honestly could not believe they cleaned it so well. It looked brand new. We have 3 boys who I thought basically ruined our van interior and Rueben restored it to basically new. Great job!! This kid was professional when I talked to him as well. You can tell he thrives to do well. Thank you!

Best car wash in Utah, plenty of free towels, vacuuming, the hand-held has plenty of pressue and soap, and wax.The manager walked by one day and said: I see you here a lot, I said: At least twice a week, and he gave me a free wash. Really nice staff, and they love clean cars as much as I do.Its the best, and so affordable, it is the only car wash Ill go to, none better.

Recently got a hand wash and an interior cleaning. Just a vacuuming and wipe everything down. This car was already in immaculate condition (only 2 years old) with a ceramic coated paint job and interior was like brand new. Just a small amount of dust on the outside and very little debris on the driver side carpet and some dust in a couple spots on the interior. I only mention that because I feel $80 dollars was pretty steep for what other places charge $25 for but wanted to give them a shot. They did a pretty good job overall though. Left some overspray from the the leather treatment they use in a couple areas that was noticeable. Pointed out a couple other things that they promptly cleaned. The front attendant is rarely there also and had to wait to pay and was difficult to get a hold of them to set the appointment (which got moved by them) in the first place. Wash took 1.5 hours. Good wash but not worth $80.

Manager Mick helped to resolve a very difficult issue to a fair conclusion. I wanted to have a month car wash only, since I am from Texas visiting. That was over a year ago. Last month I just realized I was being charged every month over a year. I called him and asked to cancel the charges and requested for a refund for $450. We came to a compromise that I could live with. For that I give credit to Mick for showing professionalism and being very courteous dealing this delicate issue. Thank you Mick.

Gorilla wash is the best car wash ever! I love this car wash because they spray your car off really good before it goes through the wash, which means no scratches! Their employees are awesome and do a great job. The vacuums are great and they also provide towels to dry off your car. Highly recommend!

I had a gorilla Car Wash and I had Isis who is one of the detailers clean my windows in the detail shop. She noticed that my headlights were very dingy and asked if she could clean them. I said sure! 0mg! She did an amazing job, they are like brand new I was parked in front of a brand new truck and my headlights were as clean as the new truck. If you want a professional, detailed job done this is the place to go. These I people that spend the time on your vehicle are incredible. They spend quality time detailing your vehicle to look almost brand-new. Thank you Isis for a beautiful job!

Awesome carwash. Were very at risk for COVID so contactless experience is a high priority. Theres an employee who prewashes your car, and does a very thorough job at it too, but unless you struggle with pay terminals you wont have any contact or proximity with the employee. The service here is top notch and carwash is very sophisticated compared to others. We bring them a Jeep covered in mud and our baby leaves clean as new. Monthly pass comes with free vacuuming and drying towels you can use. Very happy!

This isnt just the best car wash in Layton. Its the best in Northern Utah. Ive gone to many car washes from SLC to North Ogden and everywhere in between. I have a monthly pass on all three of my vehicles here because its that good. Free vacuums, clean curtasy towls so you can dry off your own vehicle.

These guys are seriously the bomb! They clean off the car before going in the car wash. They have great vacuums, they have microfiber cloth to wipe door jams windows and the interior of your car off.Cameron and his crew are always super nice! I actually bought a new truck and got paint on the seat. I stop by to see if they could get the paint off. Cameron was able to immediately get my truck in and get the paint off the seat.If you wanna great car wash and or a great detail head to Gorilla Shine.

This is a quality establishment which I couldnt recommend more. I have been coming here for a couple years now and am always pleased with the care, professionalism and courtesy of the employees. The location is convenient to plenty of restaurants and stores to occupy your time if you want to wait for your vehicle being detailed. I trust these guys to take care of my Volvo and they do great work and have never disappointed. I especially want to commend Tyrone Bizzard because he has an eye for detail par excellence and a fastidious execution that is flat out THE BEST in the business. When I pulled up to pay, an employee walked up to my window without a mask on. None of them were wearing masks. They do a good job but they arent doing their part to keep customers and their employees safe. I wont be renewing my membership here.

I took my car to another detailing shop in Riverdale and paid 265.00 for just an interior detail. It was awful as if i hadn’t even brought the car in also the tech told me the trunk wasn’t included in this price. I needed my car to look good for an event coming up. So I took my car to gorilla shine the very next day and I explained what happened and he got me into the shop within 20 min! And for less than half the cost my interior is spotless and as new! The techs are awesome and even washed and shined the exterior of my vehicle! I’ll recommend them every time hands down. I wouldn’t even waste looking for another shop. Best customer service, just overall a great company! Thank you Gorilla Shine!!

Took my 2020 Hyundai Kona in with a few scratches on it from Trying to remove some Yellow Drop. Technicians at Gorilla Shine had my Car looking Brand New. Could Not even Find where the Fine Scratches were. Gorilla Shine is Awesome for Making you Car Look New and Protect your Paint Job. Prices are very reasonable, staff is Friendly and workmanship is Terrific.

Actually worth the money. Most places are both of $13-$14 these days for a completely automated process. Here the staff will presoak and clean up your vehicle before it starts the wash. My last visit was so good we circled back around to give the guy a tip! The soap has numerous colors and bright lights which makes it a “fun” experience for the little ones. Only downside is the number of vacuum stalls.

They do an excellent job and get your car really clean. It’s nice having towels and vacuums

Ended up spending $278 for a three-step wax that was ok. They said they did the to of the car too, but the little bit of remaining bird poop up there sure made it seem like they did a less-than-thorough job.

Fantastic customer service! Far exceeded my expectations. I had a minor issue with one of their other locations and called the manager to receive a refund since their self serve bay did not work after I was charged. Not only did I receive a refund but the manager gave me a free car wash to make it right. They’ve definitely earned my business again next time.

People here are awesome! I enjoy tipping the guys that scrub your car down prior to the wash. You can tell they always take extra special care when you tip em. Everyone should tip these guys! Their job sucks! They deserve the extra cash.

Took my car in for their “3 step wax” and I couldn’t be any happier. Everyone that I talked to was down to earth and really nice and it was done in a timely manner. The finished product was far better than I was hoping.
