Ashley was super awesome when she did my spray tan. First time going to this shop & thought it was the cutest, most friendly place!

I been afraid to get my nails done cause no one seems to listen. My nail lady takes her time and always make sure I happy before moving on. I get my feet done once a month and so love it. The owner is an amazing woman. I havent done anything else but cant wait to do a spray tan for my Christmas photos.

Taylor is so sweet! She squeezed me in when I was about to go out of town and made my lashes look so good! She explained aftercare to me in detail and I’ve never had a problem! 10/10 would recommend her!

The place is relaxing. Minus the two who chat openly about personal information. I got lash extensions from Taylor, although she was professional during the appointment. After care wise very unprofessional, especially when I expressed I wasn’t happen. She’d come up with a million other excuses. This is my first time having lashes, I’ve had them for a few years now. I’ve only had this issue one other time; and the lady was more than willing to accommodate with me. Taylor not so much. I’m highly dissatisfied and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone

All the girls here are really sweet. Maybe a few inexperienced and talk a little to openly and freely but fun girls.

Such a Phenomenal Spa!!! The husband and wife owners go above and beyond for the clients. I was early for my pedicure and they let me try Red Light Therapy for free! I was so impressed that they cared so much to offer this service for free to me to kill some time. Everything is clean and well kept. I had a amazing pedicure as well. All the products they used smelled amazing and was great quality. They are affordable and am so glad I found this hidden gem! Definitely going back with my friends and daughter! 5 stars!!!!

Oh my goodness!!!!! I love this place!!!! Not only is it beautiful and loving inside, but so are the owners (complete women owned and ran business) and the staff! Every time I go it’s like going to my family’s house. I am obsessed with the red light therapy bed and the tanning beds! They offer tons of lotions, manicures and pedicures, spray tans, eyelashes and soon hair services. If you haven’t checked out this spa/salon yet I highly recommend you do! They have gained a customer (and new family member) for life!!!!

Ladies! If you need to do a little something nice (and affordable) for yourself, go see Jazie for Ultrasonic Lipo and Infrared Facials! They are affordable, less than a nail fill!, little ways to treat yourself and perk up those little problem areas. Ive had her do just two facials on me and the results are noticable, fine lines and wrinkles are less noticable and my maskacne thats started popping up is not as bad! Do something for yourself and message her for an appointment!

Absolutely love this place its so welcoming the girls are super sweet an knowledgeable with the services they provide highly recommend this salon. An its the first salon Ive actually seen owners there. The husband an wife that own it are amazing dont waste your time an money elsewhere.

Ive been there for nails, red light therapy and some other services they provide. I never leave reviews but this place deserves it. The owners are friendly and nice along with other staff members. I would recommend them to anyone. I drive 45 minutes to go just to this spa!😊

Hair, nails, tanning, facials, waxing, lashes, red light therapy, teeth whitening, ultrasonic Lipo, and so much more!!!! You want it they have it. I can’t wait to go get more services done.

The first time I visited A Shade Darker was for a spray tan. I scheduled it with the owner Ashley online and was not disappointed! First spray tan ever and it was perfect! The second I walked into this salon, I could feel this amazing energy! Pair that with the beautiful nail bars and pedicure stations, it feels like a vacation. Once Covid bans lifted my long time hairstylist, Vanessa, decided to join the A Shade Darker team. IM SO GLAD SHE DID!!!!!! Vanessa took my natural dark brown hair to platinum/silver..... without murdering it! (Dont go crazy, it takes time) Shes been my stylist for over 2 years now and has never let me down!!!! I stop by often to tan and buy whatever new amazing Hempz lotions they have. I always feel welcome and know that Im a priority here! If youre looking for a salon, this is it! This is local, these are people who give so much to your community! Pick them.... you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!

I had my daughters little princess party here this past weekend and it was PERFECT! My daughter and all her friends got pedicures done and they gave them tiaras with little goodie bags. The girls that work there all did such a great job and made it so fun for the party girls!

I have tried many times to schedule a mommy & me pedicure without success. I have been asked what days I can come in, and when I respond; nothing. I have waited weeks to try again, and once again, no response. It is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Making an appointment should not be this hard**Update***I was contacted by the owner, and she immediately made things right. She went out of her way to make sure my daughter and I had a great experience at her spa. The nail technicians were very sweet and patient with us. I bought some of their bath bombs and whipped soap, and they smell yummy. The place is very relaxed and everyone is so nice. We will definitely be back.

Im usually very nervous to try new spas for services, however the environment and staff are so friendly and welcoming its almost like family. Price are very decent and the services are all amazing from pedicures, red light therapy, waxing, lashes, and tans. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this place Definitely deserves it!

This salon is so clean, warm and welcoming! The entire staff is so friendly and the wants to ensure you get exactly what you came in for! I went in for a full set of gel nails and Wendy did an amazing job!! I have also been using the stand up tanning bed along with a HEMPZ lotion and am LOVING the results! I had originally wrote a review for this place that was not favorable, and at the time it was my true experience. Since then i was contacted by the owner and she wanted to change how I experienced her salon and I am glad she did on my second trip to this establishment it was extremely enjoyable is created by multiple friendly faces you made me feel very welcome and excited about second first impression I got a customized airbrush tan which came out amazing she made sure that it had two coats that they were evenly set and that they absorb into my skin appropriately to give me the maximum amount of Darkness. Do the entire process came for me what she was doing and what benefits it added to the experience making it not only a service that you would receive but educating you on why that service was appropriate for my goal I also took part in the movie pan experience that they have there it was a very clean and enjoyable experience and why you might think that everybody was extra friendly this time because of my original not-so-great experience thats not the way that came across it came across very genuine and I believe if the employees that was there on my trip they would have hearted me just as friendly, unfortunately there was an employee that had work there that just wasnt as customer-friendly she no longer works there and it was a better trip. I would totally recommend this place Ive had for over 20 years and it is top 10.

I got a spray tan for family pictures and I have never been more happy with a spray tan perfect color not Patchy and I felt so comfortable with the lady that was doing my spray tan she is soo good at her job! I went back and got a pedicure there too and it was such a fun experience! they offer so may different things it really is a one stop shop! If you have any Beauty needs definitely go here!

Im soooo amazed with this place!! The atmosphere was so welcoming and inviting! The owner was sucha sweetheart!! They have everything from red light therapy to facials, tanning,nails, permanent makeup and so much more! I found my new favorite place for great relaxing mommy time! I recently went to Wendy and I was very uncomfortable in the situation. She was bad talking about other nail technicians. I feel like this place just has an overall negative vibe. There is also a random man walking around the store. It’s very awkward in general.

DO NOT GO HERE. I was recommended this place by a friend who went here and had cute nails. I got my nails done by Emily a bit ago and had an absolutely horrible horrible experience. I was cut, she used an electric file so deep on my nail beds that it was red and burning, then the nails were bumpy and misshapen, none of the lengths or shapes matches at all. my gel had air bubbles and the polish wasn’t even painted on well. I was going to contact them to get it worked out but to be honest if that’s how they are representing their business I don’t trust that anyone there does half decent work. Would definitely recommend going somewhere different to a place that actually knows how to do nails well, like olde mill salon. To top it off I was charged $50 and the nails didn’t even last a week. Highly disappointed I don’t know how this place has good reviews and don’t know how this girl even got her license, terrible terrible.

The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I brought my daughter for a mommy and me pedicure and she was treated like a queen. She had a great time and I did too. I really enjoy that this spa supports small businesses by selling their crafts/art. Its a great place to go and relax.

Ashley gave me a spray tan, which was the first for me. I didnt know what to expect but she made me feel very comfortable and my tan was beautiful. She was very accommodating and sweet, as was her staff. Ill definitely go back.

I would not recommend going to this salon it is very unprofessional. Every time I have been there they had children running around the salon It is very disruptive. The last time I went in there was a gentleman/worker being very disrespectful to the girls working there. Stay away!
