Just like with other users, I ordered an item and have not received anything, and every time I tried to contact them via email or phone I get no response. I got the item via Walmart.com, so there was no notice of the store being closed or anything. I understand if you will not ship the item but then I need my money back. Reply to your emails!
I ordered an item that wasnt going to ship for months!Their customer service was nevertheless excellent. They processed my refund.Recommend make sure your item is in stock before ordering
I placed an order online at the beginning of April not noticing the banner on the top of their page as referenced by the owner in a reply to another customer below. While many places are closed right now many are also fulfilling online orders and I was trying to support a small business rather than purchasing from a larger store who may withstand this situation a little better. They processed my order right away and my payment went though however nothing has shipped. Ive reached out by phone and email to see if my order can be cancelled - I completely understand if they arent able to ship it in this current environment) but havent received a response. Id have to agree with other reviewer it feels like youre scamming people. I hope to hear from the owner soon and to receive a refund or shipment information but if not my next step will have to be disputing the charge with the bank, contacting your city officials, and filing formal complaints. Again, I want to support your small business, not file complaints against it. Please respond to your e-mails and phone calls - even if closed you surely have access to those!
I placed an order on May 10th. I have emailed twice. Called once just on the off chance I would catch someone at the store. I have heard nothing. Will someone please contact me. If you aren’t shipping any orders, refund my money.Your website said you will approximately be open on July 15th. It is now July 29th and still no word from my emails! Refund my money already!
Absolutely incredible customer service. There was just a slight issue with a belt I ordered, and the owner Mr. Stephen LaBar made another one, and shipped it right away. I am so happy with my experience I will continue my business there and tell my friends how great they are. Thank you TMAS!!!
BUYER BEWARE!!!I purchased a Custom Belt with full understanding of the Warning notice that is on the website regarding custom work; however, I was expecting a quality product that meets the specifications listed on the website.The belt I purchased was a specific size; the belt I received was two inches under the listed length. Now, I understand that two inches is not a great big deal, but if one is presenting a belt-it should maintain a degree of standard-something that anyone in the martial arts can respect.I reached out to the business to see if there was any measures that could be taken to correct the issue. I received:We have checked our belts and have sent an injury to the manufacturer for more information and should have an update for you first thing next week.That was two weeks ago. Nothing since; no offer of discounted price for a purchase of another belt, no replacement offer, not even an apology for the inconvenience.It is highly unlikely that I will do business with this business again, especially for anything custom made. You do; Buyer Beware.
Drove 45 minutes away to purchase an item in store. I arrived at 11:40 am. The door was locked, lights were off, no one answered my phone call and despite the hours saying they were open, they were not. No sign to explain why either. I even stayed and extra 20 minutes and waited for anyone to show up. If youre going to not be at your store for your own hours, the least you could do is leave a note on the door for passing customers.I would not recommend, I will not return and I will definitely be getting my gear from more reliable places in the future.
Please do not purchase from here. They are collecting money and not filling orders purposely. Scam! Ordered before the website had any closing post on March 18th before everything closed! Reached out multiple times only received a response after I dispute with my bank. Still no refund or confirmation of refund!
Wish I had checked reviews before ordering. I placed my order while on phone with an agent and was told that since I put exactly what I wanted on the custom order belt and they wouldnt need to translate it would be fast. Well here it is 30 days later and one excuse after another and no belt. No refund, no apology!
Order shipped very fast, however incomplete. I have sent an email and called but it is after hours. I did not receive half my order. The fast shipment was a HUGE plus for me.UPDATE: the staff are very quick with their responses. sent an email last night about missing parts got a reply a few hours later (AFTER HOURS!!!!) also received a phone call this morning. My second half will be here tuesday and I just wanted to go ahead and give a review that is deserved. THis company is Amazing. I am just getting into using Bo staffs and knowing that this company can supply my needs and cares enough to answer my issues ASAP makes sure I am a Repeat customer. Great Job!!!!

I emailed Sensei LaBar inquiring whether there was any replacement for a piece I needed for a stretch machine, within a few days the Sensei emailed me back confirming he had a spare, shipped it to my house at no cost, and communicated with me every step of the way. Mind you I purchased this stretch machine from them several years ago. Thank you sir it was very kind what you did. See you guys next time.

He sent a rusty scratched all over all pieces with defects cornerman ..and does not want to pick it up and refund me the money. Complained to BBB and I will post pictures everywwhere. He said I am fraud and abuse. Its outrageous to even talk like that with a customer who wants to return a DEFECTIVE product.
Call before going. We drove 40 min and it was closed even though the hours are clearly posted that they were supposed to be open. Very disappointed.

Attempted to purchase a $140 item through ebay and never received it. Horrible experience ....two thumbs down!!
