I’ve been going here since I was six years old with my parents. Now that I am 20 I’m still going there and experiencing the great customer service and creating wonderful memories. It’s a family friendly atmosphere and the barbers there are always giving great cuts and great service they are always making sure someone is available to give a haircut so I’m never waiting long. For the 14 years I’ve been going there never had a bad experience and I’m always telling my friends to come and get a cut. Great prices, great people, and great service. I couldn’t ask for anything better.

This is a nicely appointed barbershop. The owner takes pride in this business. I am in law enforcement, but the atmosphere is appropriate for my safety. They are adhering to Covid protocol, too. My 7 year old grandson loves V to cut his hair. She is calming and very nice to Nathan. I highly recommend this shop.

Do not get your haircut from a bald guy over there he presses on your head to hard and he doesn’t follow instructions

So, I brought a friends son here this morning and the personalities of these barbers such. So as a woman that doesnt have kids, keeping a child properly groom is important. Since I dont have that direction and I am expecting that a Barber would help in giving direction in making sure he looks clean cut as a young African American male.

I went in there for the first time on Christmas. The owner was a very kind man. He gave me and my lady a free slice of desert. Which was absolutely delicious. The meal was tasty and the prices are more than fair.

So in all fairness the quality and style of the barbers I would rate very high.The most disappointing part of my experience is the fact you are never greeted upon arrival and unless you personally know a barber you will not be advised from anyone the waiting process. We literally sat there for well over an hour with not one barber approaching us. Apparently setting and appointment is the best way to go to avoid extended waiting. Just wished there was some signage or posting to notify new customers. Other than that everyone seem friendly and professional ( Upbeat environment)

I’m a perfectionist and do not find mediocrity to be acceptable. Sean the manager and owner is talented and I trust him with any style I choose to achieve with my hair. First I must say that the shop atmosphere is real cool and laid back. I like how everybody has their name on their jackets and its seems like everything is in order. The vibe in there is positive and there is a variety of barbers with different personalities and different cultures. Now, my barber, Cory, is on point. He has been cutting my hair for over 3 years. Whenever he relocates to different shops I follow him. If I happen to pop up and he is not there, I wait until the next day. I dont go to any other barber. Cory make sure that I look fly when I leave. I always get compliments after I visit him. I pay him what I pay no matter the price for that day or whatever specials is going on. He gets from me more than what is asked for. Cory is a great barber and I dont think there is no one who can duplicate him.

I came upon New Roots when I first moved here from California 4 years ago and I’ve been getting cut by Donnie for the last year and it’s been great!! Everyone at the shop are always welcoming and inviting as soon as you enter and make it a great time until you leave. Donnie is always flexible with timing and making sure you get a great A-1 haircut in a timely fashion!!

This place is the Bomb. Professional employees, clean environment, plenty of space inside to relax while you wait. You can watch the news and sport on their large screen TVS. I recommend them highly. They have a dedicated app where you can download and use it to place future appointments, pay online as well.

They should no longer be open to the public I went here way back in high school was decent never great came back after college while I was around finding work I needed a cut unless your a friend of the barbers you will be treated as you don’t exist I personally walked out after not being greeted then skipped for a friend of the barbers wasted 30 mins of my day would never spend my money here it’s a hangout spot for close friends not a barber shop

Came from Portland, Oregon, had no idea where I could get my haircut...come there, was quickly welcomed. I honestly forgot the name of the barber, but that man did an amazing job with my hair( line up and design). Now I know where to come get an haircut next time.

Definitely very pleased with this place. Finally a barbershop I love! Upbeat atmosphere and a crew of experienced barbers. I know because I sat there long enough to watch them do there thing. My sons barber made style recommendations that gave my son the look he wanted and saved him from my adamant request of a clean-shaven head! This is a very impressive barbershop with a major investment from whoever owns it!! I have been to several barbershops, but my experience at Roots Barbershop came different: Huge place, clean, professional and here youll find my favorite girl barber, Donni. She does an excellent job. I watched her work, and I saw someone who takes her job seriously. Shes very organized and tech savvy. She follows up with you, and shes on top of her appointments... She doesnt rush on your cut either. Ask for Donni, you wont regret!!

Been going to new roots for about two years & I have never had a bad experience. Its kid friendly but also nice and relaxing for adults. Shawn is by far the best barber Ive met I have dreads and he never once cut into them no matter how much new growth Ive had. Denise keeps me laughing! Good people and good prices and most defently a good experience EVERY time.

I go there every two weeks and get my haircut and If I could i would go even more. Juice, the gentlemen who does my haircut, always does an excellent job and also always provides great service and conversation. Overall, the shop has a multitude of great barbers and always a colorful group of guests. Its a great place to go and get a cut.

I dont go to the barber at all. But it was my wedding, so I made an exception. I asked for a cut and shave when I got there Sat down. Dude was pretty courteous and nice. Explained to him the facial hair I wanted to keep and was pretty clear. I had a simple haircut and that was fine. But when he got to the shave, he used an electric shaver! What the heck!!? Then when he got to reshaping my beard and mustache I could tell something wasnt gonna be right. After he was done, I put my glasses back on and my mustache was butchered and my beard was uneven. Soooo disappointed. Especially the electric shave thing. I had to shave off my mustache, reshape my beard, and do a re-shave myself.

I usually never write on business but I had to today because this place had my son leaving worst than I brought him. I swear it looks like A rat chewed on his hair. I mean how could they concentrate if there are 10 TVs and they are to busy watching the game instead of doing their work. Now I have to go to another barber and hope the can fix my sons hair. I even told him and he did apologized but he still charged me. Would not be returning.

I would give it 0 stars if I could! The lady was high cutting my hair and GAVE ME A BLAD SPOT, I didnt notice until i had left and washed my hair. She left cuts all over my head and messed up my hairline. Dont go here

Go to the barbers with the most customers. Especially the barbers that cut all the kids hair. Those are the ones that listen. The two in the back when you first walk in are butchers. The girl dont listen needs to go back and learn some pointers. Frank is excellent. the barber next to him is good . the black dude with the beard is great. The other side is pretty good. BUT DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THE TWO IN THE BACK. They will butcher you people I promise you . Just be patient and wait for the good barber to open up. Ive been going to this Barber since 2014. So dont deal with no egos because they need you to make money

I can’t say anything bad about this barber shop, it’s a clean place but there is a young light skin barber (i don’t know his name) who is not good at his work, not a professional barber at all. He needs lot of training. He Cut my hair bad, uneven fading and charged $22, wonder why.I am extremely upset and never going there again. Just recommending everybody to get haircut from their other experienced barbers.

I was really disappointed after reading all the positive reviews on this shop.We waited almost an hour and we weren’t ever greeted or told that we will be helped.Finally we asked about how much longer before our boys could get their hair cuts after seeing people being attended and we were still waiting there.The gentleman replied “ I don’t know if I could get them both in because we close at 7:30 “ and they really close at 8:00 then he goes on to say “ honestly bro I can’t cut their hair because their hair is to straight “ mind you he had just cut a white mans hair who also had the same hair as my boys.As a barber you are trained to cut all texture hair however even though that bothered me I was more bothered that had my husband not said anything we would have just sat there because my boys hair is to straight.Thankfully another gentleman stepped up and said he would cut their hair but I had another appointment elsewhere and I couldn’t wait for him to cut two other appointments he had.I wish my experience was different because after the reviews and the work I have seen they are amazing at their craft.Unfortunately we didn’t fit their criteria

Ali is one of the best barbers my kids have been three plus years now, actually all the barbers are great, the whole environment is welcoming lots of seating minimal wait time and best of all they give back to the community back to school time, etc... this shop really cares!

The barbers are rude. They didnt even greet me. I had an appointment and he cut my hair 15 mins late. He didnt even apologize for being late. Then he is talking on the phone and gave me a lopsided cut. I will not be going back. I will take my business elsewhere.

Came in to get a haircut in the morning. They had 4 barbers, all busy, and 4 people waiting. After waiting for 30 mins two barbers left the shop, in the middle of cutting someones hair. One of the guys had to call them to ask them where they were, so I left. I came back at night and sat there for an hour and no one helped me. Asked two barbers both said they were busy and two other barber were done for the day. No one was told me if they could cut my hair o4 not. Not a good e experience. Two hours two trips NO HAIRCUT
