I appreciate this place so much. They can assist you with ANY help you might need. Within reason. They have things that can help if you prefer to backpack around as a homeless individual and you just stop by and ask for help and they can in someway help most times. Stay consistent.

They are helping a growing amount of people who have genuine need. Not only that, but they help with supplies and most needed things without shame, or disrespect in any way. Thank you so much!!

This is one of my favorite places in Lawrence because without them Ive really be in trouble they have helped me out so much I cant even explain excellent excellent people

The Dare Center is a not-for-profit that is run by volunteers. Because of covid-19 things have changed but it still is open to hand out supplies and I think there is a waitlist for the washer and dryer.

This place has been closed since mid March with no concern for the homeless. I suspect fraudulence money wise on the part of management.
