The movers were very careful of all our furniture which many were antique and fragile . They were very polite and respectful. They pack their trucks in a very organized way, and unloaded in the same manner. They packed and unpacked our home in less than one day. We would highly recommend this company and its movers.

We used Professional Moving & Storage to move my elderly mother from her home into an apartment. They made the whole process very easy, a few questions over the phone and we had our quote which was very reasonable.They showed up on time the day of the move, our movers, Mark and Linden were very professional. They were very accommodating of my mother’s partial move, they were not moving the entire home. We walked the house covering what needed to move from each room. All questions or requests were greeted with a friendly response. They worked quickly and efficiently while taking great care with my mothers furniture and boxes.The unloading went perfectly, placing items where we requested, offering to move if needed. Assembling the bed frames was wonderful. No items were damaged and the cost was right what we were quoted. I would recommend them to anyone and will be keeping their information for any future moves.

This was my first search for a company to move an oversized item within my home. I called 5 different local businesses, and from Hello this company impressed me more than the others. The professional tone of the conversation was pleasant and the details I had questions about were all competently answered. The day of the move, the movers were everything I expected and more: efficient, cheerful, and careful with my surrounding furniture. The in/out time was impressive but they did not rush the job. And the charge was reasonable. This is a great moving company!

The customer service guy is terrible. I just wanted to ask about quotes over the phone. Simply how they charge per a hour for two movers. He asked me my email address. So, I said would mind telling me a rough estimate. He just hang up the phone. What a rude behavior. So disappointed.

The staff at Professional Moving & Storage is great! They have moved us three times without a hitch.We also now store our belongings in their climate controlled storage units. Protecting our leather furniture, art and other household items.When we move back into a permanent home, they will be moving us again.

We rented a storage space for our son mid-May so he could store his things for the summer. When he moved out mid-August, we forgot to inform the facility that he was out. I sent an email to Reese Jones mid-October and he promptly responded with our refunds. Both my husband and son were happy with the facility (clean and secure), the people who work there (friendly and helpful) and I am now very happy with their great service. We hired them to help us move. Our crew was Jeff, Mark, and Joel. Very fast and motivated. They listened, checked with us any time they werent sure about something, and made sure we were happy before leaving. They became jovial once we started joking with them first. That made entire experience pleasant, which speaks volumes since I loathe moving.

Great Service.Our family in a transitional move from a large house into an apartment - so our move had everything - move-out, move-in and storage.PMS provided a 1-stop place for all of the things. The movers planned the move perfectly and took great care with our valuables. We were done quickly and they offered placement of the larger items. Even when we asked for things to be reversed and moved it was no issue.

Today was the second time weve used Professional Moving & Storage and have been nothing buy pleased both times. Josh and Tanner were here today and were great. I hired Professional Moving & Storage to move me across town when I bought a home. Four movers showed up, friendly and extremely professional. They made a quick job of wrapping up the furniture, boxing what still was left to be packed (we packed a lot ourselves) and when we got to the new place, didnt complain once about carrying heavy furniture down a narrow, twisty set of stairs to the basement. I am very impressed with this companys professionalism, and the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend them!

We used Professional Moving and Storage for a move in August, 2019. They owner and his son came to our home and provided a quote of $1,500 based on this visit. We changed the moving day but had flexibility on our moving date. We were not told there would be a problem. On moving day the movers arrived and said this should have been a two day move. We, and the movers, had to endure a 13 hour day of moving in 97 degree heat. The move was not finished until after 10 p.m. The movers and my husband and I were exhausted. One of the dining room chairs to our very expensive dining set was broken and as it cannot be replaced we are now out of a chair. The insurance was not fully explained to us. The final insult was we received a bill over a $1,000 more than the quote. I cannot recommend this company.

I have used Professional Moving and Storage for two moves. One was between two states, and the other from Gardner. Both were flawless! They arrived on time, were quick, efficient, and protected our things. I have used their storage units on two separate occasions, and it is very secure and easy to access. Would highly recommend!

Effective quick responses facilitated our move. We chose for them to do all the packing. Wow--best money Ive spent. Crew of nice, experienced men showed up on time, efficiently packed our entire house and GARAGE into boxes in 6 hours for moving the next day. Doing this ourselves would have taken days and probably would not be done as well as they did it.Moving went great. Movers showed up at the stated time of 8:30AM. Loading the truck and unloading with repositioning our boxes into the new house was done with a smile. Even when we made errors about what went where and they had to move it several times, there was no grumbling.The owners came to the house and gave us a bid with a not to exceed limit. They were often on site and when they were not Mr. Morris ensured the crew moved efficiently. The final bill came in more than $800 less. I am glad we spent a little more and got the crew pizza for lunch. They expressed their appreciation. The crew was a mix of fellas, but each of them were concerned with our move and worked to make us satisfied.

The best movers in town! I got a dining table delivered for a great price and it came heavily wrapped in perfect condition and they even assembled it for me. They didnt leave my house until everything was in the exact spot I desired. Highly recommend for big and small moves!

We used Professional Moving & Storage (National Van Lines) to move us from Kansas to Illinois. The pick up went timely and efficiently by a great group of guys. Ed, Tanner, Danny and Rory worked hard all day and we couldn’t have asked for better customer service. They were very respectful of our belongings and hard workers. We’re looking forward to the delivery tomorrow and would and will highly recommend them.

Everyone at Professional Moving & Storage is wonderful! They have moved us 5 times in the past 25 years, and each move has been smooth, professional, efficient, and enjoyable! Most recently, Ed (Edward Jr.), Dalton, and Danny moved us this past Thursday, May 16th. They did an incredible job! Hard workers, friendly, patient, calm, capable, reassuring. Everything was moved with care, even the big, awkward, heavy pieces that Ed and Dalton heavy-lifted and securely navigated up the turning stairway. From the first call, through the estimate, and moving day itself, everything was handled professionally, pleasantly, positively, and very well. Each time has gone really smoothly and they have been dependable and punctual. There have been no issues. We have also used their storage options for both long term storage (renting a climate controlled unit) and short term storage (storing new furniture till we were ready for it). Our movers arrived just before the scheduled start time, did a fantastic job moving all our things, and were friendly and professional throughout the process. They got us totally moved in just 2.5 hours even while navigating around us cleaning up, our dog being underfoot, and our roommates still getting their things into another truck. I would 100% recommend them to anyone, and we’ll definitely be calling them if we need to move again.

Bobby is a great guy in general and the best in the business to work with. He fit us in on the fly and got us moved even while very busy with Kansas City moves for specialized equipment. When I had to find a place to store my belongings due to a domestic violence situation with a former roommate that was very volitol. The employees and manager helped me get a unit and even loaned me 3 guys and a truck to move my belongings (even though my former roommate locked us out and would not let us in that day). They have worked with me when I was in a serious financial deficit and has been totally professional and courteous from day one. They are total life savers!
