Whoever owns this laundromat really ought to get their business license revoked. So so many machines out of order, a stink of mildew or mold hangs about the air and a general air of unkempt and lazy care for the decor and cleanliness of the business. I hope a new laundromat can open up here and serve this corridor of Iowa street because Hillcrest Laundromat is not meeting the needs.

Its pretty basic. No attendant. No TV. Not real tidy. The machines did a good job.

Very dirty, especially the floor. One of the triple load washers didnt work right. Timer was off. No change in change machine either.

It’s really sad to see how much this laundromat has gone downhill. I used to come during my college days and don’t remember it this bad! Dryer went out and so I needed to use a laundromat and remembered coming here. As described in other reviews-filthy and ran down. Doesn’t look like it’s even been cleaned in forever. Maybe people using the space to get out of the cold?? Who knows. Will look for other alternatives next time.

It has a homeless element. Still a good place.

Someone needs to repair all the broken machines

The lower prices arent worth all of the hassle, noise and harassment from the homeless population who come and go like they own the place.

Usually a pretty good place to do my laundry. Hours are advertised as 7am-11pm. I put my clothes in the dryer at 10:30pm, ran home to put my few shirts to air dry up, and when I came back at 10:50 the doors were locked. Thats a crock.

Prices are reasonable but I will not return....lets just say disgustingly filthy. From the front doors to the floors, machines, tables all really dirty. There is a table with the attached bench that had food left on it, drink rings all over it. I mean I honestly dont believe I have ever seen a laundromat this dirty. The sidewalks and outside of the other stores in the strip mall look to be just as dirty. Few people came and went outside the doors, sat on the bench outside then left. Just felt very uneasy. Next time Ill drive farther and pay more if needed.

Welp to be honest it always reminds me of michael from the blind side though it stays warm and functional sp i could compare it to a in and out laundry day low quality always looks apart so remember to make sure theres a soda machine for a chansler opinion.. i apprieciate the hospitality especially!

Does pretty well

Machine very dated and dirty. Whole place filthy. Even glass doors on entrance nasty. Save you money go some where else.

I prefer front load washers and forgot detergent so when I went to purchase the machine took my money and returned nothing. Bought powder detergent because it was the only option and when the wash was done the clothes smelled like mildew. Do not go here. There were no forms to fill out for issues so I had to find a piece of paper to make a complaint and got no response.

Not as expensive as some other laundromats. Air conditioning works well. No trouble with machines. Not as clean as I would like though.

Need an urgent upgrade some machines out of order. There was obvious vandalism to walls has not been fixed! Still, looks pretty clean.

Theres plenty to do for 30 minutes. Not crowded. Machines work. Its what a laundromat should be, washers and dryers that work.
