Richard is the most honest businessman Ive come to know in my 30 years of living in Lawrence. His mechanics are knowledgeable and will answer my questions without a lot of over my head jargon. Ive come to rely on both the Phillips 66 and Auto Center for our automotive needs.

I took my pickup in for a timing adjustment and will definitely be going back. The staff was friendly, helpful, and completely upfront about how much the adjustment would cost. They were also extremely accommodating when I was unable to bring the truck in on the scheduled day and scheduled an appointment for the next one. The adjustment was done in just a few hours, and they even called to let me know the timing was off on the distributor as well and asked my permission to adjust it. Wholeheartedly recommend this shop!

I always took my car to this place. They will give you a precise and fair quote and wont start the project until you give them permissions. The staffs are very kind and professional. They are always trying to save you money by giving you necessary services only. Highly recommended!

They will not find more issues than what you originally came in for, they are compassionate and offer solutions for more major repairs. I tell everyone I know how good the service is for both you and your car!

Its hard to find auto repair places that you can trust. Im not an auto idiot and usually can tell when some one is trying to dupe myself or others. Rich and Zach have always/always taken time to carefully explain the problem and the choices to remedy.

We moved to Lawrence about a year ago. Someone had recommended that we use Westside Auto as our mechanic in town. The first time we took one of the cars in, they fixed the clutch. One of the mechanics said they rigged the clutch so it was tight. Unfortunately, they charged us for a new clutch even though they rigged the clutch.We took the same car back to replace the alternator a couple months later. They replaced the alternator with a faulty one which ended up frying two car batteries. Although they replaced the alternator for free, they said they couldnt replace the battery because we didnt get it from them (even though it was their faulty alternator that fried the batteries).Not impressed Westside! Really frustrated that you arent more honest with your services and stand by your word. We wont be using you guys anymore.
