We’re having our bathroom remodeled. We got city permits on Monday. On Tuesday our contractor contacted JLM Environmental to do testing for asbestos. On Wednesday a technician came out. He was friendly and professional. Today, Friday, I received a call from JLM’s customer service person assuring us there’s no asbestos. I had spoken to the delightful, professional woman before. Two thumbs up for JLM!!

Our HOA required asbestos and lead testing for renovations of our unit prior to sale and we contracted with JLM. Our HOA rejected both tests as insufficient and JLM refused to come back to do testing to the HOAs standards. We had to contract another licensed company to do the asbestos and lead testing to HOA standards and the test result were approved by our HOA.After posting my initial review, JLMs owner, Jon, contact me and was very apologetic for the experience I had with his team. I appreciate his follow-up, although it was unfortunately 2 months after our initial issue. I have no doubt that if I had been able to speak with him in November when this occurred, the outcome for us would have been different and we might not have had to pay for a new company to do the testing. Thank you for your professionalism and integrity Jon.

JLM Environmental has performed several tests on my property. Their field technicians are prompt, courteous, and thorough. All of the tests were performed as expected. In some cases, they offer on-site evaluation, with the written report following the next day, which helps immensely with tight construction schedules. Their reports are clear, easy to understand, thorough, and complete. They are responsive - every time I called, the phone was answered immediately, and the people I talked to were extremely helpful. In a few cases, JLM was able to schedule same-day visits by field technicians. I plan to use JLM on future jobs, and strongly recommend their services to others.

John did a great job and truly impressed me. He was professional and had a great attitude. After every part of the mold and asbestos inspection, he would report his findings to me, and then continue with the inspection. He took pictures on his phone and used high-tech equipment to get a thermal image of areas would mold might have been. He sent me the inspection reports the next day, including the pictures that he took, what he checked, his findings, and his recommendations.Highly recommended.

We had the mold underneath the kitchen sink remediated. JLM worked very quickly to resolve the issue. He came quickly after I emailed him for the estimate, did the excavation without any damage to my home, and finished the work site cleanly. I am completely satisfied!

I booked an inspection. I was not happy as a customer. I felt cheated and the information in the report was completely useless and lacking. All they kept trying to do was create a remediation job by ripping apart my entire upstairs of my home. After I called a different company called LAMOLDS I had a much better experience.
