Highly upset. She was paid to make two dresses one for the bride and one for the bridesmaid. She did such a horrible job on the brides dress it is already falling apart when it was only worn for a few hours. The bridesmaid dress was never even made. She had the fabric “cut” out but never even sowed it together. And didn’t even bother to tell us until the night BEFORE the wedding. And had the nerve to tell us that we better go find another dress somewhere.. highly unprofessional, had an attitude when we called to check on the dress. She literally was “putting” together almost done with the brides dress every time we called. She literally just was horrible. The only decent thing she did was give the money back that was paid for the bridesmaid dress.

I took several slacks and jeans to this place for hemming in June. I went to pick up my slacks several attempts throughout the months hoping my request for hemming to my slacks would be completed. In addition being persuade by the seamtress the job would get done. It’s December and I go back to pick up slacks and the seamtress hadn’t done one stitch to my slacks. Monthly she fabricated she was working on them. She.’s a charming woman but her word ain’t worth 1 cent. She gets a F.

I have taken a lot of mending to Gwen. She always does a good job, always a good value.

It was a terrible disastrous experience. My two daughters took their bridesmaids dresses the week before Thankgiving to be altered for my nieces wedding which is tomorrowDecember 30, 2018. She would never answer the phone, so finally I went with my youngest daughter last week to pick up the dresses. The back straps were very loose and she said she woud fix them both. She was suppose to call us Christmas Eve to pick up the dresses she never did and we couldnt get up with her until late yesterday and we certainly tried. My youngest daughter and my Mother picked them up. My daughter was so upset she was in tears. We are now having to get someone else to fix the dresses today, a day before the wedding. When I finally reached her this morning and told her of our disatisfaction and asked if she would give us half our money back she said and I quote I didnt charge you for the redo, excuse me you mean the mess you made and why would you charge me when you had already over charged me. My 1st & last experience with Gwens So called alterations. So unprofessional and sloppy work. Never again.

My sister and mother went to Ms. Gwen for my moms vow renewal ceremony and it was an absolute disaster. It was discussed several months in advanced and she procrastinated the closer we got to ceremony. The night before the ceremony she told us she wouldnt sew my sisters dress together over $55. She wasnt even done with the brides dress until 10 P.M. (The night before the ceremony).

Went to this sewing shop for my wedding dress and my sisters bridesmaid dress...worst decision ever. She seems like she only wants to do simple jobs. Things we asked to be done that were tedious she made excuses as to y they shudnt b done. Had to hot gun glue the wrk on my dress she did at the last minute!

I have had a couple of pairs of pants hemmed here and have been very satisfied with the service. Fast, accurate and priced well.

Sweet,nice lady foes a great job on alterations.

She did not listen to what I wanted her to do, she gave me receipt to pick up and had the charges included but she later called me so say it was going to a lot more than she wrote down. I will ever use her again.
