We were traveling home from South Carolina to PA, when my vehicle broke down. I called the garage at 7am had & had it towed there. They guys had the part ordered & truck fixed by 2:30. They were super nice and reasonably priced. I highly recommend.
On vacation driving from Cincinnati to Sunset Beach the alternator started failing on Honda Pilot. Exited 74 through Laurinburg and pulled into Dannys just as the car died. No one there at the time so called AAA. After a few minutes Bill pulled in. Cancelled AAA and Bill took us to Enterprise to rent a car. Continued our trip in rental and picked car up on the way home. Alternator was replaced and the cost was very reasonable. Bill was excellent to deal with and went out of his way for our convenience. So nice to deal with HONEST mechanics and people who really care. We were pretty much at their mercy but they didnt take advantage of us. Thank you Dannys Auto !!
How does a licensed mechanic mess up something as simple as an oil change? Dang man you gotta drain the old before you add the new. For those of you who are not mechanically inclined, too much oil can seriously ruin an engine, in my case there were 8qts when my care calls for a little over 4qts. Overfill can cause loss of compression, rough idling, leaky lifters, cause oil and antifreeze to mix which can crack your heads, and make oil frothy thus making it impossible for the oil pump to pump oil to the vital components of your engine that need lubrication, because the pump is designed to pump oil not air; and the list goes on. Dannys Laurinburg, NC. Time for Mr. Bill to stick with inspections only. Sad thing is he still wouldnt admit that he forgot to drain the old oil. After Bill changed my oil my car just wasnt driving right. It was smoking bad upon acceleration, and its never done that before. So I checked the oil myself, and this is what I discovered. I parked my car and went back the next day. They drained the oil the did the oil change the right way, but did not use the Ford Motorcraft semi - synthetic oil that I originally purchased and they subbed the oil filter I originally purchased with a cheaper one. But still no apology. He stuck with his claim that he did drain the oil, even after I showed them this pic, which clearly shows there is exactly twice the amount of oil that there should be on the dip stick, plus the oil appears to be used, not fresh. I really liked this place, but this is not how you conduct business or treat loyal customers. Honesty still means a lot to customers, and goes a long way especially when your operating a small local business. And just think I even tipped them the first day, because I was so sure it was done correctly. - Never again.
Always a pleasure to do business here. John and Bill are on top of things there. Good prices on work there, good delivery time for work done. They are the best in Laurinburg.
Awesome service. Friendly hometown service. Bill is so nice
Nice people. Just got an inspection but would have them work on my truck. Just a heads up. Its Cash Only. No cards.
Dannys is a family run local garage. Started by Danny Sr. back in the early 70s. Now is run his son Danny Jr. Need new brakes or your oil changed. Go see Jr, Bill or Johnny, they can handle all your car request. Youll know they care about getting, your car or truck back on the road. Just see Jr when you get there, and he will get you fixed up..
I am am insurance adjuster who was passing through the Laurinburg area early yesterday morning when my alternator went out. I was lucky enough to find Dannys with a Google search. They had my car fixed and ready for pickup by 1:30PM, and I was surprised at how low the cost was. They kept in contact all morning with updates, was very happy with the level of service. Highly recommended.
Best prices in town. John the mechanic very knowledgeable, courtesy and quick service. Bill who mostly does oil changes is also quick and polite.

Great service, friendly to customers. Reasonable prices?
The latino guy knows his stuff. He gets the job done.
I took my car there twice to find out what was wrong with it and both times they told me the wrong things. Had me buying parts and getting them put on for no reason.
Been going here for years to get my car inspected. My grandmother still goes there to get her gas cause they pump it for her. A+++ service
