1 Week ago we decided enough is enough and we were tired of looking at dirt and weeds in our backyard. It was uneven and looked as if it was deserted for years. We called Tough Turtle Turf and they had a member of their team at our house the next day. Our backyard is perfect and even, the pavers have a nice outline with darker brick so our BBQ area has a hard surface. Our puppy loves it and we couldnt be more grateful to the whole TTT team.*side-note the turf comes with a 25 year warranty :)

Vince Sager was willing to come over on a holiday and gives us a quote. We had a large piece of turf layed in our front yard with pavers around the edge and stairs from the sidewalk up to our house. We also had a platformbuilt for our trash & recycle bins with a path leading down to the sidewalk. The turf really gives a pop to our front yard. The employees were very friendly and did a quality job.

Transformed our backyard in no time with a very hard working and professional crew. Extremely happy with the results.

Can’t make a zero star review. The short story is they stole $1000 from us and didn’t do any labor or buy any materials. The long story is that the sales guy uses high pressure sales tactics of applying a discount that is only good for that initial right up. Red flag number 1. I’ll save you some research time and confirm that this price isn’t actually a deal compared to other companies. Should you try to cancel work with them after the fact their contact states you have a 3 day right to cancel or else you forfeit a certain amount of money. Spoiler alert no matter when you attempt to cancel it will take longer than 3 days to get a hold of them. This is where they took that $1000 btw. And actually said they were entitled to more money no having done anything. If this sounds like fun I highly recommend them.

Just sat down with Micheal and planned out our backyard turf! It was a pleasure getting to know him and setting everything up. He’s very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He also took the time to explain other aspects of creating the perfect backyard to us backyard beginners. Quality product, quality service with a quality representative. Highly recommended! We can’t wait to see our final product!

Our salesman Brandon was extremely nice and took time to explain everything that we needed to hear. Robertos team that came out to install everything was absolutely phenomenal! they were so friendly and answered any questions that we had, and took the time needed to make everything look wonderful. We are extremely happy.

After several calls to make an appointment and confirm the appointment, the sales rep called me the day of, 30 minutes before to tell me he was not going to make it. I was very disappointed. Company Cry for work but do all they can to avoid itThat tells a lot about this company.I was asked to reschedule and I refused.

Vincent was great and very helpful. We have been wanting to fix our backyard up and this is a great place to start and finish. It was a little pricey. About $9 a sq foot but the quality is amazing and comes with a 25 year warranty against installation and defects not from normal wear and tear. As long as the area is over 400 sq feet you also get a rebate from the water district here in Las Vegas of $3 a sq foot. Ours was 500 sq feet so a pretty decent discount from the water authority is in the mail now. The guys came and removed my old grass, prepped and installed the turf in one day. About 9 hours total. Even put some deodorizer down. Anyone need a lawnmower

Just had my front and backyard done. The workers were very professional and polite. Very happy with the outcome.

Brandon promised to be with us every step of the way. From the start we asked for some 8 pavers to go in to separate our neighbors yard from ours. NO PROBLEM he said. He was aware of the SNWD requirements that you need a 50% canopy of scrubs to qualify for rebate to remove the grass. His crew removed all irrigation system so we Cannot have a drip system put in and scrubs. Brandon admitted this after we failed the post work inspection. The crew did not put in the necessary filter. He promised to take cate of this and to adjust the final price and to call us and take care of this. We have been attending to contact him a for about 5 days and he is dodging our calls.The work itself was good although his crew wasnt very careful around the pool when removing rock.The turf does get very hot in the NV summer.

Our Salesman was Michael. He came out to the house and performed his measurements and had an estimate for us in just a few minutes. He was also able to factor in the removal of a fairly large mesquite tree so that we could maximize our turf area. We had everything squared away in about an hour, with an appointment for install 7 days later. We had one person come by to verify measurements about two days out, then install started promptly at 0700 on the day of our appointment. Because of the tree our install of 900 square feet took 2 days, but it normally would have only been a single day otherwise.Al and his crew worked EXTREMELY efficiently, you can easily see that they are the experts in this field. They were careful with my home, and the attention to detail in their work is amazing. Al was able to identify that I was about 10 tons of landscaping gravel short due to some really bad grading from the original home build. He explained the impacts that it could have on the installation in the long term, and gave me the option to leave it as is or pay for the material and they would install it for me. I opted to trust his experience, and I’m glad I did. The color of gravel matched perfectly to what we already had, and it made the yard come out perfectly. These guys are seriously THE experts!From start to finish, the experience was amazing, and that is nothing compared to the finished product! It is beautiful turf, and it feels so nice under foot. The cool blade technology is incredible, in direct sunlight it still only just feels warm. I’m excited to see the difference when it starts to hit north of 110. The kids love it, and it turned my yard into a highly useable space.Long story short, you won’t regret working with Tough Turtle!

They did an amazing job making our backyard beautiful. They turned our back yard from an unusable dirt pit to a place where we can actually relax. Were so grateful for the work they did and were excited to use the space. All in all, it was a great experience with this team of workers and their wonderful company.

I am burnt out on taking consideration of my yard, since I put a lot of work keeping it in great shape in the past. But now, it is green, 24/7. All because of Tough Turtle Turf. You will not be disappointed because they care about providing high-quality service. The personalized care and attention to details was greatly appreciated. I worked with Brandon and the team in San Diego because they do the best work in the city, and now theyre doing it again here in Las Vegas; we are overdue for the professional work they provide. To start off on a positive note, we went through the entire process with this company from start to finish and love our final outcome.Now to the details.We scheduled a free consultation/estimate, and already had a simple design in mind for our yard. First impression of our sales person Mitchell, he was very pushy & in a rush. Talked bad about other companies right off in an attempt to sell us the company. Super unprofessional, but we can’t fault the company for one guys sale methods. So we decided to look at our pricing options. He showed us samples did the whole song and dance and he told us we were FULLY APPROVED FOR THE FINANCING OF THIS PROJECT. Our jobs total cost was $8215.00, per their contract it stated in BOLD letters that the customer is to make a down payment of 10% OR max $1000 whichever is less. We decided to make it a nice even number and do $1000. Sounds ideal right. NOPE! We get a letter in the mail from the financing company stating that our financing was approved for $5000. The $1000 came out almost instantly. At this point we are at an impasse. The job is a little over $8k, were only approved for $5k and we paid them $1k leaving a $2215 difference!! We were NOT prepared to pay this, out sales rep NEVER notified us of this, and NEVER even attempted to reach out. When we tried to reach him he’d send a quick text saying “I’ll call you back” and then WE would have to call him back in the following day or two because he never would. When I was able to talk to him to voice my concerns he gave me all kids of excuses on why he never informed us of this discrepancy, and that this is a rare case, but based off the reviews it’s not. After relentlessly failing to try to communicate our options with our sales rep we decided to go over his head and pull him off the job to deal with someone else. My husband and I decided we would pay the difference and get on calendar.We were assured our project would be a 2 day deal but ended up being a 3.5day deal. (This was due to wether) the workers and the contractor in charge of the job were the ONLY reason this review got 3 stars. Albert and his guys were professional, kind and did their job as efficiently as the wether permitted. If ever I need any other work done I hope I can work with Albert and his team outside of Turtle Tough Turf.Over all I probably would recommend looking at other companies before commuting to this one, but if you do go with Turtle Tough Turf be sure to ask for a competent sales representative!!

I just had my front lawn redone by Tough Turtle Turf and I am a very satisfied of their work. They did an amazing job. Not only was the job fantastic, but they did not charge me any extra money after the actual measurement was greater than what was estimated. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is thinking about putting turf or fake grass on his or her lawn.

They are not the cheapest company around but you get what you pay for and then some. These guys are amazing, on time and we are thrilled with the outcome so far. They finish this week and we cannot wait to see the final product!

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They have no professionalism and a terrible business model. Sales Managers will yell at you if dont do work on their timeline. They will take your money and then try going back on their promises.

This company should be ashamed of how they run business. I called them because of all the ads that pop up. A young man came out to see me and when we started discussed the products and installation he immediately started talking very bad about the other companies. He would tell me that the companies in town pick up day laborers to do their work and theyre the only company that had their own workers . He also stated that their competition uses poor quality grass and do not know how to install grass. That immediately turned me off. If your company is so good you wouldnt need to use negative comments against other companies in order to get a job. The qoute was much higher than any other estimate I received. I would not recommend using this company I did not and will not have artificial grass installed by them! Free piece of advice stop criticizing other companies to get work and let your workmanship speak for you!

Does anyone know the real location of their office/warehouse? Apparently the address provided in Google actually belongs to a traveling company agency, not Tough Turtle Turf! Their Nevada Contractors Board license shows 2300 W Sahara Ave (Suite 500) as their physical address, but guess what? That suite apparently has been vacant for a year or so and according to the on-site security company they don’t recall ever seeing anyone from Tough Turtle Turf using that suite. People please do your due diligence before hiring a sketchy company like this one. Also their bond limit can’t exceed $10K per project, meaning that if your project exceeds $10K; legally they can’t proceed with your project. This company’s real name is “San Diego Best Window Company”. This company simply gives me a bad vibe, they don’t seem to be truly honest and transparent. Hopefully they stand behind their claims and promises.

Did a great job with the estimate and showing me exactly how this will benefit me. Now i no longer need to worry about cutting grass in the heat and also it stays cool.

These guys are professionals! The amount of savings ive had so far with my water bill is enough for me to be happy. No more worrying about burnt grass or mowing the yard! Prices were fair for what you get.

My turf has been installed with no issues. Customer satisfaction is their focus. I wasnt the easiest customer but Tough Turtle Turf took care of me. They were great in answering my initial call and succeeding thousands of queries. The estimating process was good and they made great recommendations to meet our goals. Its extremely well built. I dont think you can find a better value other than what they offer.

Horrible . The guy that came and gave me an estimate at my home in Las Vegas was rude, pushy and bad mouthed other companies which is very unprofessional. He made me feel that I HAD to sign on the spot for the price I was quoted.

Unbelievably horrible company. They cancel appointments last minute, they show up early, late or not at all. Overall a greedy scam company to avoid at all cost. There are better options.

This company is a complete joke .. there are very rude and trash talk every other company in town. They are very pushy and try to make you sign on the spot because there running all these deals . They came out with one sample to choose from .and there prices were almost double what every other company has quoted me . They were not professional at all and I will not be going with them .

Met them at my Local Sams Club as they had a great display. Talked a good game and I am in the market for all new landscaping. As promised I was contacted the day before my appointment and all was good. Again, as promised, the day of 30 mins prior to my appointment the designer called saying he is on his way - Well Thats about where the Positive comments for this end. I do have several design concepts in mind and I kept getting met with either I wont do that or to keep things way cheaper you can do that yourself kind of mentality. We did go over the project and he did show me the turf samples. I was still eager to see what he was going to do for the concept and he promised I would receive an email with the concepts and pricing. A week passed and still nothing. I skipped calling the local office and spoke with Debbie at the corporate office in san diego. She seemed eager to help and was disappointed in how my experience was going. Was told due to meetings in Las Vegas I will get a call in a couple hours to fix this. Never happened. I called back and again was promised i would receive a phone call. Since then I have spoke with several other companies and have had consults while still waiting on there call back. Looking to drop at a minimum of $15K to which they never even asked. perhaps they judge you by the cover...Save you time - move on from this company and go elsewhereI will also be bringing this concern to those at Sams Club who allow such unprofessionals into the Club to take members money and time from them

My mother always said, if you dont have anything nice to say, then say nothing at all..For right now, I will say, that we changed the job, before we started due to their lack of knowledge about the Putting Green Speed, lack of product for the putting green for wearability, the discounts not being included in the contract and the lack of knowledge for the process of the installation.If it had not been for the Installer Rudy and his team, I would have asked for my 10% deposit back, which was $850.00. I then asked about my $500.00 discount and my 10% Sams Club discount, which was NOT listed on the contract or in the price.The was NO, rock, gravel, sand or padding for the putting green. The installer brought the chet for under the Turf. After the project managers left, someone dropped off the Turf, Putting Green and conditioner/ sand for the top of the turf.We had to have the project manager return to adjust the bill for the changes and the two discounts. We ended up with a $3,400.00 difference and I still feel, I over-paid as we only installed 290 square feet of turf for $5,100.00.The putting green piece was cut for our yard and the project manager said, we could have it since they couldnt use it.I always get 3 estimates and then go with the one that I feel we had the best communication with.. my mistake, they were my first estimate and I will use this situation as my reminder to ALWAYS do my homework.Currently the price was adjusted from $49.00 a square foot to $17.00 a square foot. I made the appointment through Sams Club, so I know I will always have them, if anything happens.Do your homework, this companys Installer is licensed, bonded and insured, but I still have NO idea if Tuff Turtle Turf is on there own as Turf is not the only thing they do, its a dba and they also do window coverings, so I found out.This has caused me a great deal of stress and my husband does not have his putting green..I can not recommend Tuff Turtle Turf.

DO NOT let Tough Turtle excavate or grade the area to receive material. I am a superintendent, and have been in the construction industries for 3 generations. Workers worked hard though.
