Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon West Rim Tour was absolutely wonderful! Our tour guide Konoa made the tip even more spectacular with his facts and jokes along the way. He is the best tour guide I’ve ever had! The Canyon is absolutely stunning and the Reservation was beautiful. It was the perfect day. Highly recommend this trip!
We went on the Area 51 your. Paul was our guide and made it a lot of fun
The driver/tour guide, Art was a friendly professional that displayed a wealth of knowledge and details to enhance our experience. He went the extra mile literally and figuratively to ensure we had a memorable experience and had plenty of opportunities to get the photographs and experiences of a lifetime. I would recommend this tour to friends and family any time.
We took a private Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon West tour. The trip was greatWe learned a lot and we saw a lot of things. Lunch was really goodWe were over looking the Grand Canyon inside air conditioning which was a real blessing. Our trip was late September only 100 degrees that day. Our driver Clanton was very friendly and professional it was our honor to have him. We got backed to our hotel and rebooked a trip to area 51. Only 1 hour later.
Konoa was an excellent guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, interesting and caring. Was a great day and I HIGHLY recommend this tour. The only complaint I had was the air conditioning on the bus in the back was terrible. Was not bad in the morning but as the day went on it got hot.
Our tour from Los Vegas to Hollywood and Los Angeles was extremely comfortable, our tour guide Clayton was very pleasant, informative and an excellent driver. Although the tour was 14 hours it seemed to pass quickly because there was so much to see and experience. This tour was exactly what was advertised and we are pleased with the entire tour. We highly recommend it.
This was a beyond amazing tour! Our tour guide Clayton was the best! He was very knowledgeable and funny and made the ride go by quick! These memories will be forever etched into our hearts and we will be back for sure!!
The company was very accommodating / helpful and polite with the update of my tour, due to COVID craziness. Our tour guide Eli was amazing, made our visit awsome. Thanks Eli for helping us climb the mountain!!!!
The tour was awesome I enjoyed every moment of it. It’s a long ride from Vegas to Los Angeles but it’s well worth it plus you can sleep if you want too.Dennis was cool he showed us everything and also kept us safe so thank you Dennis for the great tour.
From start to finish it was an amazing tour of the Area 51 gates, LilAleInn and surroundings. Our driver Paul was great and kept us safe!I look forward using Adventure Photo Tours again.
Marcus was nice and professional. The company itself was quick to email back when I could get ahold of them for specific puck up locations. It all worked out. I will use them again.
My family and I did the 5-1 tour. Konoa was our tour guided for the day. He was on time, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable . We were given a breakfast, snacks, and water during our tour. I would highly recommend this company and tour.
They picked us up at the appointed time and took us on a tour of Death Valley. We saw the Devils GolfCourse, went to Furnace Creek, saw the Artists pallette, Mesquite sand dunes and many other sites. We had several pit stops as needed. They provided us with a great box lunch. In our case, we had requested kosher meals, which they provided. They were very responsive to our needs. Art was our guide and driver and provided us with a lot of information about the Death Valley area and sites we asked about to and from Death Valley. Very nice tour--this was our second with Viator, both very worthwhile.
Had a wonderful day visiting the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Clayton had lots of great history tidbits and loves what he does. Very organized.
We had a wonderful time traveling with Art as our guide to Death Valley. He was experienced and very courteous.
The guide Konoa was great, very informative and the places we visit were all interesting
The tour guides were fine--Dennis in particular was a very informative and nice. Unfortunately we spent more time in the vehicle than the locations, we went from Vegas to Zion national park and we stopped only on two locations. In order to avoid the traffic on our way back our driver decided to drive all around to Kanab UT but I would have rathered spent that time on the trails.
Best tour ever.Tour company is do considerate. Cool water offered ALL DAY. Breakfast and lunch was excellent with orange juice too.Plenty of bathroom stops. Not to forget the informative narrative from our super wonderful driver Dennis.Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park... spectacular 💖Thank you so much, Adventure Photo Tours 💖💖💖
Let me start by saying these people are AMAZING! Dennis was fantastic as our guide. Personal and informative! He absolutely made the trip enjoyable and fun! But let me add, I accidentally left a shopping bag in the van. The office was so nice and helpful to get it back to me!! I cant thank Patsy enough for helping me get my shopping items back. Thank you Patsy!!! We frequently visit Vegas and do tours and I can tell you we will never use another company. We started as tourist and ended up as friends!! Thank you so much for a memorable time and the care you took even after we had returned home to Tennessee!!! The best!!
I recently attended a 5-in-1 West Rim tour that included stops at Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. This tour was recommended to me by friends who had attended previously and Im so glad they did. The sites were absolutely breathtaking and if you get Jim as your tour guide, he makes the tour even better. He is chuck full of knowledge, is incredibly personable and is also a wizard with a camera, taking pictures at great angles to really capture the moment. The money is well worth it as this is a part of my trip that will not soon be forgotten. I cannot stress enough, if you get Jim as your tour guide, you will have the time of your life! I would definitely attend one of these again and I encourage you to do the same.
We booked the Vegas to Hollywood day tour with this company and had a wonderful day out. Be prepared for a very long day and a lot of driving, but its very enjoyable none the less. Our driver/guide was Marty who was very knowledgeable and friendly. Packed lunch and unlimited bottled water were included. The 2 main stops of the trip were Santa Monica pier, which was lovely, and then the walk of fame area. Other stops for pics included the famous Beverly Hills sign and the worlds tallest thermometer amongst other spots.Unfortunately we gut a load of traffic on way out of LA due to an accident which made trip back a bit longer. Got back to hotel around 10pm. Very long day, but really glad we done it.Highly recommend this company
We took the Valley of Fire tour with Clayton Bailey who was a wonderful and fabulous guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and sociable. He pointed out so many facts while on our tour that I wish I had a tape recorder to get all of it. The weather was great with a great breeze and lunch was very good. All of my pictures came out amazingly great even though Im not that good of a photographer; even my shots that I took from inside of our tour vehicle came out quite well. So a big thank you to Adventure Photo Tours who did a fabulous job and our guide Clayton Bailey who was AWESOME !!!!!! We will definitely be booking future tours with you all. Donna & Susan
Took a tour to Hoover dam. It was amazing. Chris is an exceptional driver. Very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Van was clean and comfortable. Definitely would book another tour next time I’m in Vegas.
Havent found independent reviews about this tour business. It appears to be legitimate. But prepayments close to $8,000 is required. How do I verify? REPLYING TO YOUR RESPONSE: my brother Scott Ruffner booked a photographic tour to Japan with you prior to the covid-19 pandemic. He asked me to help him verify your business. If you are not the correct company, please let me know. Thank you
Loved our driver Clayton! Very safe driver, very thoughtful with all the stops, & very entertaining & knowledgeable about the area. We did the Area 51 tour & it was the best thing ever! When we saw something strange that we wanted to investigate, he pulled over so we could check it out. ..it turned out to be just an orange bucket in the middle of nowhere. Mahalo Clayton for an awesome day!
We had a tour of the valley of fire with Julian. He was an informative guide thank you. Their office was very helpful and accommodated our very restrictive dietary requirements and not something you get very often with these types of events. We would have liked more time at the two museum stops. Highly recommend them.
My siblings and I took the Hollywood tour from Las Vegas. We lucked out when we got drivers Chris and Kanoa. They were both very knowledgeable and entertaining. They made the trip very enjoyable for us. I would highly recommend Adventure Photo Tours and if you are lucky enough to get either Chris or Kanona as your tour guides know that you will have a good time.
Thank you to Eli for a wonderful day trip to the southern tip of the Grand Canyon! Lunch was great also! Only one suggestion..... could you make your tour a scent free one? Headache from the perfume the other patron was wearing. Thank you for everything.... offers of batteries, water, juices etc! Til next time.
We did the grand canyon 5 in 1 tour with Adam. We could not have asked for a better guide or time, and this was all before he went way out of his way to try and help my husband find his lost wallet after the tour ended. Everything was beautiful and Adam was very knowledgeable and just great. I would add that Im a very shy and uncomfortable person and I was instantly at ease and comfortable with him. This was a great way to spend a day
We booked a tour to the Hoover Dam through Adventure Photos while staying in Vegas for a few days. The company was on top of everything - they called to let us know when we were going to be picked up and where. We were greeted by our guide BARRY JOHNSTONE who is by far one of the nicest people we have ever met. He knew the Dam and its history and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great job. Yes, we would recommend this company and yes, we would gladly book them again.
Bill our tour guide was great. Perfect way to see Hoover Dam on a morning from Vegas
Great trip out to visit the Hoover Dam. Peter our guide was very informative and fun! Highly recommend. They also text or call you for any changes in schedule, very appreciated.
My husband and I took Grand Canyon West Rim 5 in 1 tour just a couple of days back and had a great experience. Our tour guide Adam was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He had explained what to expect at each stop so there were no surprises. We were allowed plenty of time to see everything. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested.
We did the Hoover Dam tour and it was excellent. Jim Sammarco was our guide and he was remarkable. Jim was fun, knowledgeable and entertaining, felt like an old friend driving us around and showing off his hometown. Highly recommended!!
Area 51 trip. Driver Dean. We were chauffeured driven to Area 51 by Dean, in a large comfortable SUV. Deans commentary and knowledge was excellent and he made the day so interesting and relaxed. With a good spread of humour and was prepared to listen to other peoples points of view. Lovely friendly character. Would definitely recommend this trip. Many thanks to Dean Sue and Paul Smith Todmorden UK.
Great value for the price and very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Great tour!We had a tour with Chris and Canoa from Las Vegas to Los Angeles - Hollywood. They were so sympathetic, funny and nice with us.The van was spaceful and confortable, the food was nice.I really recomend!
We did the Hollywood tour today. It was fantastic. Great value and our tour guild Adam was very friendly, knowledgable and made our long journey fun.I would definitely recommended this tour.
Keep up the good work Allen Moore and Kevan Toombs- our tour guides to Bryce and Valley of fire state park. We are very satisfied and cannot forget your expertise and thanks for identifying all the photo spots. Will take your recommendation and visit Death Valley in our next opportunity.Kudos to all the staff at APT.
I took the Hollywood tour. Bob McCarter was our guide, he is excellent !! The trip was well worth every penny, the Pacific Ocean & Los Angeles area was great. The tour company takes very good care of you from start to finish. Great tour & company...
Loved our experience. Adventure Photo Tours organised everything well to ensure our family had a great time. Great overall experience and would highly recommend. He was extremely accomodating and generous. Adventure Photo Tours provided a fantastic experience for us
THEY MEAN ADVENTURE CAMERA-PHONEPHOTO TOURS!!My wife and I booked an Adventure Photo Tour of The Valley of Fire and Lost City Museum on December 12th, 2018. We wont ever be back.We were picked up in a 4WD SUV that held six others and the driver; tight quarters for an all day vehicle-based tour. I find it very ironic that they (the company) hand out a printed packet to each of the tour participants. This packet (on page 2) gives a full page of standard tips for taking better photographs (i. e. using a tripod, using a circular polarizer, better composition, etc.). If only tour participants were given enough time to put these tips to good use, they might come away with keeper images! At each stop along the way, we were given a FEW minutes to look around. The other two groups brought their best cellphone to shoot pictures of the scenery. We, thinking we were on a photo tour (as the companys name suggests) brought a DSLR, a travel tripod, and a couple of other lenses. I knew we were in trouble when the tour guide made a comment about the backpack we brought along (after I had asked about a camera backpack when booking the tour by phone).Needless to say, we were not impressed. The tour guide did not get a tip.I contacted a supervisor by phone after we were dropped off at our hotel to discuss the experience. The Tour Operations Manager (Scott, if memory serves me correctly) stated that they are actually contemplating dropping the photography tag off of the company name, but its too expensive. He also stated that they do not use larger passenger vans since they travel on unpaved dirt roads, and may need the 4WD. Its also ironic that their other business is a limo service using the same size and type of SUVs. He stated that they only use larger passenger vans on out-of-state tours.Since this is a review, I will tell you that The Lost City Museum is a total waste of time.Do yourself a favor. Rent a car, and drive yourself to The Valley of Fire so that you have the time to spend in this magnificent landscape. The background information presented by the tour guide is not worth being squeezed into a limo companys SUV.
Tour guide Chris was the BEST... great tour, very personalized, ride the helicopter to the Grand Canyon floor, it’s a bucket list must!!!!!
We did the VIP tour of the Grand Canyon with this company, Marty was the guide/driver. It was a very good and informative tour, Marty was very knowledgeable and took us to places on way to the Grans Canyon such as the Hoover Dam and to other places of interest on the Route 66. Fully recommenrd the tour and if possibke ask fot Marty as the guide.
For a wedding gift, my brothers and dad gave my husband and me a tour of Area 51 with this company for us to do while on our honeymoon in Vegas. Before I get into specifics I have to say two things: 1) this was one of the highlights of our honeymoon (which says A LOT) and 2) Adam was the best tour guide (seriously, the tour guide can make all the difference and I’m certain part of the reason why we enjoyed this so much was because of him! The people on tour with us were cool too, so that helped!). We started by going to peek at Janet airlines off of Mandalay Bay Road (where we’re told the VIP employees and contractors fly into Area 51 each day), we could see some planes only because the parking lot we were standing in front of was mostly empty. After that, we started the journey into the desert. Along the way, Adam told us some of the history of Vegas, fun facts, personal anecdotes about living in and around Vegas (so we gained an understanding of the culture), and of course all he knew about Area 51. He made us feel comfortable, laughed and joked with us, and knew how to get the best pictures of cool things along the way to Area 51. The tour itself consisted of tourist hotspots (including the sign for the famous Extraterrestrial Highway, ancient petroglyphs allegedly depicting alien encounters, and the renowned A’Le’Inn). My husband and I had never been to the west coast before and this was an excellent way to see some of the desert and breathtaking landscape (aside from the super cool Alien related stuff). One of the coolest parts of the tour was being out on the dry lake! We’d never seen anything like it before!! And now we understand better the significance of Groom lake as part of Area 51. The drive didn’t seem to take long at all because we made stops (there were plenty of bathroom breaks) and it was a smooth and interesting ride. Adam supplied water bottles for us as needed. When we got to Area 51, he stressed the importance of respecting the borders and we got as close as possible and took some pretty cool pictures. He pointed out the security measures and the cammo dude on the hill watching us. It was creepy! The way back was nice as well. We met plenty of friendly people at each place. As an aside, the owner of the famous A’Le’Inn, Pat, who’s husband passed away not long ago, wished my husband and I as happy of a marriage as she had (and it made her emotional to say so), which was incredibly touching. This was such a great experience! We loved every minute and would highly recommend this tour company (which also offers different tours to Death Valley and LA among others) and especially our tour guide Adam!! Thanks APT!
Last February, I booked a December 30th tour to Hollywood. On December 26th, I received a call saying the company decided to cancel the tour. When I asked why they hadnt notified me sooner, the woman replied, Sorry. We just decided look at our bookings today, and your group is the only group scheduled for the 30th. I guess my group didnt matter.
Went on the Hollywood tour a long trip with the added bonus of LA traffic congestion, but still very enjoyable. Excellent tour guide called Noah, very comfortable seats on the bus and plenty of refreshments. Stops at Santa Monica and Hollywood are of just about OK for length of time. Would highly recommend japadog hotdogs on the pier. Short rest stop at Barstow breaks up the long journey nicely.
This tour company knows how do it, I have been to Grand Canyon a few times, but this best experince
I went on the Hollywood Tour from Las Vegas and the tour guide name was Mark. We went to a nasty beach called Santa Monica and it was very dirty. The tour guide flew by the stars homes and we couldnt get any pics at the Beverly Hills area. I wouldnt recommend Mark at all. He was very rude and the ride was uncomfortable. I called and complain and the manager called me back and he said that he would call me back and didnt hear anything back. VERY disappointed.
We had Marty on tour. Took real good care of us.
Company Scamed 11 people going to Hollywood . Left the stranded at truck stop for 6 hours
One of The Great Tours Ive Ever Had👍👍👍
