The location is inside quicker and faster going in and out there to help you right away and once you get there so thats why I like the employees there is no great people there nice and quiet come from and very quick you staying in and out
Impossible to get any type of assistance ...you call and can NEVER talk to a live person to resolve situation. You do everything right and submit all documents in a timely manner just to be told that I’ve submitted invalid information this was just a simple Renewal with No Changes...I already had to wait 30 days to get approval, was good for a month then getting denied the following, having to go through yet another waiting period is very frustrating!! In need of some serious organization.
I think perhaps a German accent lady came out and greeted me. All I can say she was informative. Still nothing is handled it is now her fault, it is I cant get results from my previous employer which is state of Nevada. I cant even get a call back to answer a question or assist me with my situations 😒.
They are pretty friendly and usually its not crowded.

I have been trying to call to notify them of a change in circumstances. Nobodys answered the phone once in over a week. It says the phone lines are open from 7am till 3pm. I started at 7am. Its 9am. Ive called 6 different offices and theyve all hung up on me.
Very poor .no one to help you or give proper paperwork you are put on hold or derailed ..all the welfar offices are this way here mail is not sent an you loose you assistance for days if not months .this system is poorly operated.the proms.answering is in Spanish then your given option of English then your not give a person to talk to to make appointment to fix anything .
They will help you with your Ebt card which is the same card for cash Assistance as well you can go to office to pick up card only but you can pick up a paper application and return in drop box this Method take a little longer but you can return a paper application but the welfare suggest you do it online it is quicker and easier you only go to the department of Welfare and support for the ABT car only hours are limited And you must wear a mass to go in and pick up your card
This office needs to update its hours of operation. I looked online it says the office was open on google and it says yes untill 5pm but when i rode the bus an hour and thirty mins away it was closed and it has happened more then once at this very location. There were at least 30 people coming for services and were turned around due to posting the wrong hours of operation.
I was happy to get the services that I had inquired about at this facility, I felt safe while getting me business completed in a Covid 19 regulated environment
The office lady was rude. Didnt really explain anything and everytime I call I never get anyone. I spent over 30 mins on hold today and finally had to hang up nobody was gonna answer me. Im really unhappy with the service especially since you tell us to do it all at home online I need to make changes and you make it impossible.

It is a place where if you need food and or help they are there for you.
Cant go in due to COVID. Supervisor and security outside. They still cant answer questions or give any iformation ither than a phone number. Got thru once and was hung up on with no call back after verifying call back number. Wait on hold all day and get hung up on again as the lines are more backed up

The state of Nevada needs to train their employees better. Ive been calling about information about PEBT and was given the run around over the phone for the past MONTH of August and none of their employees knew when the PEBT was approved. I showed up in person to this office and I was told that their office has NOTHING TO DO WITH P-EBT, THAT THE GOVERNMENT DECIDED TO DO THAT NOT THEM. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS HANDED A PHONE NUMBER FOR PEBT THAT I BEEN CALLING SINCE 08/30TH. ITS 09/23/2020 AND THAT NUMBER STILL RINGS RINGS AND NOBODY ANSWERS THAT LINE. IAM DISGUSTED WITH THE WAY SERVICES WORK IN THIS STATE. PEBT IS HANDLED THROUGH SNAP IN EVERY OTHER STATE SO IT MAKES NO SENSE.

Still sitting in my appointment, walk in btw. The staff here is amazing! We are not finished with everything yet, but I wanted to make sure and give these employees a FIVE STAR RATING! POLITE, HELPFUL, CONSIDERATE AND PROFESSIONAL! I was embarrassed to be coming in, and W#13. Helped me to feel not so ashamed and embarrassed. She is such an asset to her position and I am sure to our community. Heart, she is just all heart!

I had to go there when I was forced to take care of my 4 grandchildren they made me feel as though I was nothing and Ive always worked never begged some of the staff talked to me like I was dirt my grandchildren are 14 13 12 and 10 I love them lost my job and thought let me see if I can get some assistance with food do I went to apply for food stamps they eat pretty hearty I had to leave that place and go pray so my God could get the glory they have got to do better🙏❤🌹

A very helpful in understanding and on time
They Got us in very quick to interview with a case worker, the case worker was very helpful and understanding. The building and floors were very clean and we were in and out very quick. Was a good Experience asking for assistance.

Went to the office & nobody was at the desk to give instructions on what I needed to do. Gave all new info in 2019, rent increase, med expenses, new address ECT. My stamps should have increased. Instead they used old info from 2014, all incorrect, then proceeded to take all my stamps away. Whats the purpose of going in & speaking to a rep to make sure they receive the right info just to have them go back 5 yrs, use wrong info and cause a disabled person to not have food to eat. Tried many times to get this straight only to get excuses and no results each time revisited. Trying yet again today on August 1, 2019.

Went to get foodstamps here. Everything was great until we got called to the rooms & the lady said I was supposed to get them the next day but ended getting them a week later. I ended up finding out it was her first week there & it wasnt even her first time messing up. Smh
I went to this office last thursday before the Nevada day holliday to get a replacement EBT card & some how my EBT benefits was glitch to someone else card & now Im waiting patiently for the supervisor to fix the probably it has put me in an inconvenience Im left with nothing while they take there time terrible experience with this office just make sure your benefits are what they are supposed to be and that theyve done their job something has to be done how many people have they done this to and no one said anything they just told you basically to deal with it is shut up which is not the case its not fair when they make a mistake on their end but take their time to fix the situation when theres people like myself and need of these resources were not just abusing them we actually really need them and for them to make a big mistake and take their time when it is not fairthe system is broken

Not sure if this is the location that this awesome worker works at but I really wanted to give her some recognition. So a case worker called and gave us stressful news and just mailed us a new app. We called back to try and understand the situation better and spoke with Syrona (hope im spelling it right) she went above and beyond to help us straighten everything out over 30 minutes on the phone and still very pleasant while she fixed everything for us and helped me reapply over the phone. Thank you thank you if not for your patients and you taking the time to explain and fix everything we would have had a lot of running around and stress to deal with. Might not seem like a big deal but to someone that is struggling and has a mountain of things to take care of it means a lot. Thank you.
You guys should all Write a simple letter to the attorney general office. To the city. I bet you alot of folks wont be working there that much longer and things will turn around. Dont be scared to stand up for yourself. We are all humans. They have jobs because of people that needs welfare. If there was no poverty. There would be no welfare. Obviously they are very unhappy with their life. And themselves.

Its much easier to apply for help with their new upgraded ACCESS NEVADA website very easy to use.
They fix it up now the bathrooms have doors which is nice since me feel safer the employees are nice the security guard was rude this time but other than that to place is nice the people are helpful

Can I have a job here? I am just as unqualified. On second hand, I might get fired for being happy to have a job.One time I applied in December for food stamps and medicaid, I got response letter mid March.
I went around 4:00 pm expecting to wait some time in the office but that was NOT the case! I was in and out within no more than 10 minutes had accomplishing everything I went for. The staff is always friendly, and helpful with my questions and keep the line movin.
{This is just my opinion}But the receptionist at the those windows need lessons in people skills 101.

Wait time was short, it was easy to find (with Google maps), staff was okay not too friendly but not rude either. My favorite thing was that the wait time was short.

This is actually a super fast office surprisingly for its locatation, been here numerous times never was there longer than an hour. Also this is only office i have used the dropbox for turning in required paperwork and applications, as that always made me nervous, but they have always recieved my items and processed them very promptly.

Hate this location. Extremely long waits. Surrounded by rude people. Even if you have an appointment you wont be called back for an hour and a half after your appointment time. Thought my case worker was very nice, helpful and made me think my stuff was going to be taken care of right away. Boy was I WRONG. I know they are busy and deal with a lot of ridiculous people but for everyone else that goes by the rules and does what they are supposed to for help why are we punished...
