I made one phone call and I was issued a check that very same day received in mail the next day but you can only apply once a year for social services theyre the best thank you social services.

Parking not so great, but at least my friend was in and out getting her voucher for her rent. Could be better on the phone, but once you get that part done youre in and out within 5 or 10 minutes.

Very very nice lady security here is also nice and respectful and make you feel comfortable as they have to do their jobs very efficient nice and customer friendy, the lady at the desk I forgot her name was very helpful I appreciate her thank you.

Yes I was denied rental assistance but not because of my situation or anything of my doing or fault but because they like to use a system by the accessors that is obviously wrong they would not give me assistance because the place and of the people that are letting me stay in their building, 824 e sahara. #SantuariodelaSantaMuerte, which is a non profit business / residential home is not registered as residential but I was told by the social worker that the building 30 ft from me, 830 e sahara, 89104 was considered to be residential. i do share photos here to show that their sytem is wrong. 830 e sahara is actually the one only commercial building on the street. the rest are business and residential buildings together. thank you social services for relying on a system thats wrong. instead of just using common sense and a little heart.

My worker was very helpful in me making my decision. She was able to answer all questions. She then directed me to the right worker.Mrs. Sanchez is the best. She was able to help me understand my situation better. It took a little while but well worth the wait!

Calling in is a terrible experience because the workers are rude and condescending. You can tell that they hate their job.

This place helped me out with my rent the workers are respectful some workers are more helpful than others I am greatful for the the worker that I had on my latest visit. Coleen was very nice and helpful and had some common sense. I can tell when someone is willing to do all they can to help someone out and that she did. I like that. The security is nice and respectful as well as the front registration desk.

I was blessed to have the two workers that was assigned to me, they went over and beyond. I was in a bad situation and I was helped to the fullest, I dont want to put theyre names out there, Id just like to say thank you Im doing okay now 🤗

Truthfully, anytime I know that I am headed to a social service building...I cringe! I visited in February, of course ill-prepared, for a rent voucher. Having to return again in June to finalize the voucher as I really needed it surviving on tax returns. The staff and security is informative, may be a little direct given the circumstances, the wait time was not extensive both visits. Get on Google and look up the services like providing a rent voucher and a lot more, and what you will need through Clark County Social Services. They are service pet and child friendly, thinking that they expedite your visit accordingly. Another note, respect and descency go a long way so patience is key in a place that does a lot of good work!!! Thank you Pinto Ln Clark County Social Services, you are under-appreciated by uneducated people. Thank you and it was a clean, calm, and stress-free environment if you are smart and expect at least a half-day to full-day wait on assessment!

In and out. I received an appointment. Was there an hour ahead. Had everything I needed from the checklist they provided. I was called to the back within 15 mins of waiting. The interview took about 30 mins and I received a check. Easy peasy

Nope, no help at all, they just rather gave me an appointment until next month, Im 20 and I dont have any family this side of the US... I was so close in living in the streets and they didnt gave a f#%@ I lost my wallet and job last month and couldnt pay any bills or get a job bc of my missing ID ...

What can I say...its a government office. As government offices go, however, it was better than most. Plenty of comfortable seating, very nice and cool, clean bathrooms, prompt service, and I even found an accessible outlet to charge my dying phone.

They are the coldest people on earth.they lied to me and said I need a job in order to receive help on my rent. Since I got a job part-time I received one check for $77 that may be in eligible to receive help. Dont go there and say you work or have any income because they will deny you. I was told you have to have a job on my mothers grave I would not lie. They only do this once in your life to help you to the Clark county social services. Obviously Ive never been in this situation before and now I cant meet any of my bills Im $20,000 in debt. They will lie to you I promise you thatI

Quick and efficient service.

You make an appointment and its 2 weeks later to give you info that they should have gave you when making the appointment. They use a system that is out of date. Went for a walk in 3 times and was told 3 different reasons of no walk ins. Over all it has not been a totally pleasant experience and absolutely no help. I give it 2 stars for the worker being so sweet though. And security has also been kind. So over all even though the system is broken the employees were kind. Front desk could use a little work though.

Will only help if you dont have any income but a place to stay. Pending SSI or TANF. Makes no sense at all... You cant get a place to stay with pending income... Las Vegas should be ashamed of the way they treat thier residents.

All the workers here are so rude! Ive never gone somewhere looking for help and feeling like they were trying to do the opposite!! Shauna Harper should not be a social worker! She belittled me and looked like she was ready for her shift to be over. Youre a SOCIAL WORKER! People want your help not your attitude! People that go to you are obviously already going through stuff and shouldnt go to social services feeling helpless and leave feeling even worse.

They are so slow you have to be there first and on time to be seen and if you have a appointment just wait dont try to go early and if you have warrants dont go they will not help you at all they wont call the cops but they wont help u at all

CCSS opens promptly at 8am. There are 2 lines that form. 1 for appts and 1 for non appts. I waited approximately 4 hours total for the services they offer for a rent assistance voucher. The county workers were polite but barely friendly however the lady who assisted me was REALLY helpful and didnt give me a hard time. She processed my request quickly while remaining kind and respectful.

Dont goto the one on Maryland park way. Goto the one on shadow lane. Maryland Park way is not a great place and rude staff

Its not in the best location because of all the road construction going on. But, I was surprised how fast I got in and out compared to past experiences. I think I wasnt there for more than an hour to get an appointment.

Very nice and respectful staff, but you Must be dishonest to get assistance. Do Not tell them you have a bank account or pre-paid card..they will call green dot and netspend to listen to transactions. I really needed assistance but the embarrassment is not worth it, nor is honesty. I had a few small deposits for my daughter totalling $200 on my green dot card in one month which could never pay my bills and I was denied at that moment and asked to bring the other persons income statements that received the money on my green dot card. For real?? Not worth it, to involve someone else to recieve $400.My advice is to Lie, Lie, Lie just to get a little help in this Country for once. But I will say the staff is very respectful.

If you ever need, like need help your state will help here just be honest especially if you are down in the dumps lost your job and just cant get by come here. There is 100s of programs your govt can provide pending you apply and qualify

They were unable to provide me with Medicaid because I am a few dollars over the cap. I qualify for Medicaid in every other state but Nevada. I have it currently and I live in Idaho. I have had it in Utah and Colorado also.

It takes up your whole day and you have to make two visits just to get denyed because you didnt bring documents that wasnt in their list of documents they told you to bring.Social services is the absolute worst bureaucracy thats why they have armed guards.
