I am from New York and decided to get my hair dyed on an impulse. Got my hair dyed for the first time at this place. The stylist (Alexis? I am forgetting the name its been a week or so) was very professional in explaining the process thoroughly to me and setting a realistic expectation of what the end result would look like. Loved the service and how my hair turned out! Felt very comfortable during and after my appointment.
This place is absolutely horrible. The staff was rude though they are charging 150 dollars for a shave and a haircut. The manager lied to us and said if we werent satisfied with my brides hairdo his staff would take care of it. When they gave her a messed up do they refused to refund or fix it. They are horrible. Run away.
Loved my nail technician. She was warm and friendly. Although the issue I have is with the salon itself. When you’re paying $95 for a basic mani/pedi the expectation is that the salon is nice with updated equipment and uses reputable brand polish. My expectation was a upscale experience and that is not what you will get here.
Alexis did a beautiful job styling my hair. Im a hairstylist and was on vacation with my family. I dont generally wash my hair but once a week and I needed it to be washed while we were there. Is she did a professional blowout with Wavy curls on my hand tied tensions. This style lasted the rest of our trip and looked great in my pictures.
Daisy was AMAZING! She was fast was able to get our hair and make up so perfect! Overall the best place to get your hair and make up done! My wedding was perfect!
Brides beware. I really wish I had researched the reviews before I booked with Uno. This salon provided the most disappointing wedding updo and makeup services, and, frankly, ruined my wedding day. I didnt want to be a bridezilla but shame on me for not speaking up about how unsatisfactory my services were.I asked for a fairly simple braided crown with a loose curl look (I even had a picture of the style I wanted) and I walked out looking like Marie Antoinette. I was so embarrassed. The makeup job was even worse. She offered an airbrush service for fuller coverage and sweat resistance. Sounded great until inspection; my face was yellow, splotchy, and wasnt even contoured. My eyebrows were haphazardly shaped and I dont know why the stylist bothered putting individual lashes on, as they did nothing to accentuate or dramatize my eyes. Overall, I looked like a makeup experiment from a child that had broken into grandmas makeup bag. I wish I would have taken a picture, but the look was so bad it hardly deserved to be documented. I had to rush back to my hotel room and completely redo my own makeup. If Id have had time, I would have redone my own hair too. Again, shame on me for not speaking up.I cried profusely during my wedding service, and luckily I could convince everyone they were tears of joy, but in reality I was so upset about the way I looked. Call me vain, but the fact of the matter is Uno Salon did not make me feel beautiful on my special day.
Lisa was fun to chat with. She is a professional. For Vegas, the price was reasonable.
If I could give this place a negative it would be a negative 10. This place is awful. Im pretty sure none of the ladies here are licenced. Do not go here! Run far away!
This salon could be okay without Sandi. If you’re booked with sandi, consider going to aDiscount salon for half the price and the same or maybe even better mani/pedi.I won’t waste my time or money here again.
Sandy was amazing. Feel bad the Covid has hit them as well as everyone else. Prices were not bad.
I can’t believe I payed for glued nails for 95$I asked for acrylic 😭. Make sure you don’t sign anything before you get your nails done
Lolita did my hair for my wedding and makeup she did a great job highly recommended.Salon is a little pricey but one stop shop!
Do not come here. You’ve been warned!!! Terrible staff, worse service and prices! Would not recommend and will never come back.
Justina is an amazing hairdresser.
Had my hair done for my sons wedding, Davina did more than a fantastic job with my hair and makeup, I received multiple compliments......but way too pricy!
Ridiculously overpriced, my Mani/pedi was okay but my friends was horrible. The staff was unprofessional and never quit talking about their personal physical problems the entire time. Less than relaxing.
Wasnt able to fix my broken nail bc it was an acrylic set and length was too long.
This was a wonderful experience! Daisy made me feel beautiful. The staff were all so friendly and engaging!
I was stating flamingo and happen to see that had a salon and this fact alone made my whole vacation even more amazing! They are so wonderful, I had my hair and nails done by Daisy and Lisa and they are rockstars! You won’t go wrong by stopping by this salon in the Flamingo Hotel and tell them Jen Jen sent you!
I paid almost $500 got Blotchy brassy half highlights that needed corrections. The Stylist (Patti Snyder) Convinced me what I needed she had years of experience and was a color expert. ( maybe in the 80,s) I went back and Adana did a correction And changed me more money! I wish I could post photos!! Prices are listed on the Menu. How do they get away with charging more this is illegal.. maybe a law suite???
This was the best pedicure that I have ever had! I always get really dry feet on my heels and have never been able to make it go away. I came here and after one pedicure I could barely even notice the dryness anymore. They are very knowledgeable and professional. They made me feel great and took the time to help me find what I needed to fix my dry and cracked feet.
I hope this review gets read by the owner because I have a huge shout out to Lisa for my amazing pedicure. My first whole day in Vegas my brother was sick so to spoil myself I went down for a pedicure near closing. Lisa took great care of me. She made my first day in Vegas wonderful and went the extra mile to give me some ideas to make my brother feel better quickly. Thank you Lisa for being so wonderful. Next time Im in Vegas I will be back for sure
First let me say wow!! This salon and it’s staff are so amazing and made my WEDDING even more special than I could have imagined. Thank You to all the girls for beautiful hair makeup and manicure**you ladies all rock**
If you are in need of a barber or men’s haircut, go see Marta at Uno Salon in the Flamingo! Reasonably priced ($30-$55) and super convenient location. Other barbershops and salons are charging close to $80 in the area.
I had a great experience at Uno Salon, the entire staff is friendly and very professional. I had a pedicure with Lisa and she did a fantastic job and her conversation and humor made the experience even better. I would recommend Uno Salon to anyone coming to Vegas, and will definitely be going back. Thanks everyone, and Lisa keep your great spirit.
I see a lot of mixed reviews.I came here the day of my wedding. I was exhausted, stressed out and frantic. Honestly. They were so accommodating. They pushed my appointment back because I was lost. Which was so helpful and kind and appreciated.I came in and they greeted me promptly and warmly and we got started.Lisa did my fill and my pedicure. She was top notch. Don’t let her go Uno, you have one very talented and beautiful soul here. She was incredible. She gave me the EXACT look I wanted. I am very particular and Lisa was just phenomenal.Daisy did my hair, she did an amazing job, she was quick and pleasant to talk to while getting my hair done.Overall I appreciate everyone’s hard work and I would absolutely return.
I wish I had read the reviews before going. I wanted to treat myself to a manicure. The first thing they did was bully me into a Shellac manicure, when I first asked for a regular polish. Then I wanted a specific color, but Lisa basically said no and said I should get something else. Lisa hurt me the entire manicure. She kept digging into me with her long sharp nails. She also used her own nails to clean polish off my skin, which is unhygienic. She was negative and complained about her aches and pains. She did a very rushed job of my cuticles. No soaking, no relaxing, absolutely nothing calming about this appointment. Then they charged me $65! That is an outrageous price for a simple manicure with no upgrades. Then, Lisa stood over the cashier the whole time, so again I felt bullied into tipping her, and it was certainly much more than she deserved. Im unhappy with the whole experience.
Marta was great! Needed an immediate trim, got there right as they opened and she was great.
Update: I now have a nail fungus. I have not had a pedicure since Uno and do not where socks and closed shoes often, mostly flip flops. Absolutely disgusting. Oh and when I said the lady who did my pedicure was unprofessional, I was referring to her racist comments she kept making throughout my service. What a mistake going here.DO NOT GO HERE! Believe the reviews, these people are scam artist even going as far as to make a second Google location with a slightly altered address to try and hide all the bad reviews. Pricing is made up arbitrarily and they always charge you the highest. $95 for a sloppy blow out that ripped and broke my hair and then tried to tell me I had long hair. It is at my shoulders. Go to Dry Bar, there are 3 on the strip and they do a fantastic job. The pedicure was $65 as advertised but once again subpar and the lady was extremely unprofessional. Cleanliness is definitely questionable as well.
I got a hair cut. Nothing crazy. One length. It is so crooked and choppy. It’s embarrassing. Paid $150 for a haircut that I have to go get fixed somewhere else
If I could rate this salon a 0 I would because thats the rating I feel they deserve. I paid nearly $500 and the results I received were not what I expected. The service I received on my wedding day was SLOPPY, RUSHED and UNPOLISHED! I went in on the morning of my wedding for hair and makeup and after being convinced the end result would be much better if I did a conditioning treatment and trim I took the up-sell. My hair was washed, deep conditioned, cut, styled, and makeup done in the matter of 1 and a half hours, how is that possible? Other than hairspray my stylist didnt put any other product in my hair, no moisturizer or primer was put on my skin before makeup application. My makeup was by far the biggest disappointment. My eyes did have primer on them but the primer was all over the bridge of my nose, shadow unblended, eyeliner disconnected, my foundation was splotchy (despite being airbrushed which Im convinced was a ruse), and there was a harsh line under my chin from contouring. While the employees are friendly that does not make up for the unprofessional service I received! After my salon disaster I went up to my room at The Flamingo to get dressed for my wedding (which was also at The Flamingo), I broke down in the elevator. I then had 30 minutes to pull myself together, get dressed and redo my makeup. That was a terrifying experience I dont wish that on any other bride. There are plenty of salons on and near the strip, Im sure you can find one of better quality than Uno Salon.
My bestie got married and all her girls and her momma showed up to get our hair and makeup done. They were quick, but not rushed, and even though the services were expensive and they are good at the up sale, I expected the higher tag because it is Vegas, after all. They did a great job, all the girls loved their look and we all had a great time!
Was at the Flamingo for my wedding so my mother booked me in here for nails and hair. Overall was looking forward to a bit of pampering but walked away having paid way too much and quite upset from such a jarring experience. I was aggressively upsold on my mani & pedi (I argued that I didnt want certain services but got them anyway) and had to listen to the staff complain about each other, interrupt my maid of honour and I multiple times, and then be told that getting my nails done is fine for my first wedding. When it came time for hair we raised these issues to the manager and my hair went much better. It was a different staff member who did my hair though, she just seemed genuinely kinder than her coworkers. Overall would never return to this place, the results were fine but I paid way to much for what I had to endure.
A blowout is a blowout is a blowout and THEY DONT NNOW HOW TO DO A BLOWOUT. Literally go anywhere else. Tried to have me walking out of here like a scarecrow. And then argued with me that “sorry, it’s dry” WHAT? That’s not how any of this works. DON’T COME PAY $200 TO LOOK LIKE TRASH.
Lisa is the reason I travel to The Flamingo on Las Vegas Blvd. Shes a perfectionist who truly cares and never makes you feel rushed. Shes obviously been doing this for years and takes pride in her craft. I love patronizing a locally owned business who appreciates your business. Ill see you next month. Parking is free for locals too, by the way.
DEFINITELY do not go here. I went in for shampoo and blow dry. I was taken into a room and told to lie on the table the lady said I had dry skin and started rubbing something on my face she then told me this machine was made by NASA and was so good and it was only $1200 she then told me it was costing $380 as she had taken my make up off and had to fix it and then after that she said its a 20% tip making it $456 US dollars but over $600 Australian she did not explain what she was doing she just kept talking all the time. I was scared to say anything as I didnt know what the custom was in America plus I was not in there any longer than an hour. She also told my friend that I had bought the NASA thing and I said she was to buy one too which I never did say that at all because I knew my friend would not buy it.
This place is the only reason I will ever step foot into the Flamingo ever again. I had a grain of glass stuck in my foot, and Lisa was a champ at getting it out. Changed my whole vacation. Months later and I am still grateful. The services I recieved were relaxing and pampering. Our second visit this week was equally as wonderful as our first visit.
Amazing hair treatment in Las Vegas, NV! I was very pleased with the results!! I have thin, fine hair and my scalp can be seen. You definitely give me more confidence and less self-conscious. Im going to continue coming to your salon, hoping the results will continue to be positive.
Not happy with the acrylic nail set. The technition was very argumentative and did not listen to my request. Paid 110 USD for below average job.Update: 1 day later and 6 nails have lifted. Definitely do not recommend this place.
Absolutely loved my hair! Sarit is the best!
Went in for a shave and haircutGreat service, terrific friendly staff, just an all-around wonderful experiance. Miss Daisy made me feel like a king. Will definatly be back again...
Exceeded all expectations. Cindy, my manicurist was fabulous. Please see my longer raving on Yelp.
This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, DO NOT GO HERE! My friend (the bride) and I went and had our hair done, style/updo for her wedding and it was a nightmare. The prices listed on Flamingo s website is COMPLETELY WRONG! They are extremely overpriced and hair wasnt even all that great. What I paid at this place for 2 people is more than what I paid back home for 5 people to get their hair done on my wedding day! The worst part of the experience was they try to talk you into add-ons such as a $125 facial by criticizing you like telling you you have too many black heads. They overwhelmed the bride so much that she had a panic attack and was in tears on her wedding day, UNACCEPTABLE! When I stepped in to calm the bride and tell the stylist we didnt want certain services she was very angry, was very rude with me and eventually her and I exchanged words. If we had time we wouldve definitely walked out and went somewhere else. The only good thing and reason they received 2 stars was the brides hair turned out decent. Once again, please DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, ITS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!
We absolutely loved our Hair and Makeup for our wedding. Great service and happy times will always remember our time with those amazing girls
Amazing Bridal Stylist!I loved my hair and makeupVery professional
I went in for a blow dry. She tried to talk me into a facial, I said No, then wanted to do my makeup, again said no, then how about a trim, again no way, finally said yes to conditioning treatment. End result, worst blow out I ever had, they usually last a good 4 days, the next day I had to wash my hair again, it was limp and completely straight with no body whatsoever and I have naturally curly hair! Final cost of this mistake, $200.00..a big waste! Really wanted to go back and ask for some sort of refund. Should have just went to the drybar at the mall for only $49.00.
DO NOT GO HERE. I had a very bad experience at this salon. First of all the front desk girl was rude. I went there to get hair and makeup done for my wedding and I asked for a simple waterfall braid and my hair looked terrible. Wasn’t even a braid. Charged me 200.00 for hair and make up that I had go to back to my room to fix. DO NOT GO HERE.
Love this placeThe staff were so nice and me and my girlfriend had a blast!
I had a decent manicure at a conveniently renovated located salon.
Had to cancel my appointment for my wedding. $200 not including the application of the vail/headpiece, not including eyelashes and no airbrush makeup?? And the woman on the phone was pretty annoyed that I was asking what was included in the price. Im really glad I asked those questions before showing up and getting ripped off. The Linq salon includes all of this and airbrush for $175. Happy hunting!
Very friendly and very good at what they do
Very pricey wanted over $100.00 to get a acrylic nail fill, went downtown and got nails and pedicure for that price
Terrible hair stylist. Sloppy lazy work. They basically will see you rush through your hair for maybe 15min and charge you hundreds. Talent is like your little sister doing your hair. Save your money for literally anything else.
Best microdermabrasion in Paradise NV! Wow! Is all I can say after having microdermabrasion my skin looks brighter and healthier. You can actually feel it working. My skin now looks and feels great!
Beware! This place is a scam. I asked for a mani-pedi (turned out to be 100 bucks) and the work was sloppy and unprofessional -- my nine-year-old could have done a better job. They skipped the base polish, yanked painfully without actually clipping the cuticles, and the polish on every nail had a mistake, so she used nail polish remover constantly. They constantly try to upsell you throughout the entire visit, and grump/pressure when you decline, which is extremely annoying. They also dont have a space for you to dry your nails (or so I was told), so you are rushed out the door as soon as they finish putting on the polish and spray you with a can of nail drying spray.
The driver gave me useful information about knowing the Uber car because another uber driver picked me up by mistake
My girlfriends nails were jacked up! Not to mention, she was cut on one of her nails at the base. Wish i had looked at them closer before we left. Never again!!!!!
Very rude
Black Caviar product is a joke! DO NOT PURCHASE the product, I mean unless you have money just to piss away. The mastermind behind it and all of his flunkies are also liars and thieves!
I found it to be disorganized and everyone seemed rushed. But the employees were nice to visit with.
Awsome alittle pricey
THEY BURNT MY HAIR OFF! ENOUGH SAID
A very overpriced salon for very average results.
Overpriced is am understatement
Great salon
