Dr. Cornwall is a kind, caring, and attentive listener. I was very comfortable talking with him. My first visit was such an eye-opener. Unlike other counselors, Dr. Cornwall focuses on taking care of the problem rather than just rehashing past issues and traumas. Dr. Michael Cornwall is a Trained REBT therapist and offers wonderful insight and the ability to work on your issues without being focused on medications. He listens and has a no=nonsense approach that helped push through tough times, while also showing the person that has the most power in changing my life is me.

SCAM!! I made an appointment with Cornwall to get a prescription for Ambien (which he verified that he could give me one at that time over the phone). I arrived on time and first thing he wanted was my insurance card and banking info for payment, which I thought was strange, what was I going to do, run out? During our session he told me that he has lived in Las Vegas for only 4 years and hates it and wants to move out! I was trying to tell him something very serious that happened and he interrupted me 3 times with a question not pertaining to what I was trying to tell him. At the end of our session he gave me a doctors card and said she should be able to write you a perscription, so he lied to me over the phone, otherwise I would not have seen him in the first place! Not to mention, I found out that he cant write prescriptions and his referral doctor doesnt take my insurance! He also told me his next opening is August, but to check everyday for cancelations, but no plans were told to me at that time. Last thing, watch your insurance bills, because he billed my insurance for 2 visit, but I only saw him once! He told my insurance that the second was for Evaluation Roadmap, so basically he got paid for writing his notes, which is his job to begin with! How can anyone have a roadmap after 1 hour session that he controlled! NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT ALL! Yes Ive noticed that the other 2 1 star reviews cant be read, not fair to people!

Dr Cornwall is such a wonderful help. As a stay at home mom and military wife sometimes things get stressful during deployments and juggling taking care of little ones. It’s just wonderful to have someone to speak to that’s non judge mental but also really encouraging m. I definitely will be back.
