Anshu Pathak has great high quality exotic meats. I always love cooking and trying new recipes with his different products

My husband and I ordered a 4 pound green iguana. He is from Honduras and has not been able to eat the meat from one since 2008! This website is the only place where they ship them next day delivery. I ordered yesterday and it arrived this morning perfectly packaged. I also spoke with the owner before ordering to check if he had it, and he was very polite and informative on where the iguanas come from, the taste of the meat, and also the iguanas diet and lifestyle. We are so happy we found this independently owned company that we can order from and get back great quality meats. I recommend them to anyone that has a taste for meats you can’t find in a super market!!! Absolutely wonderful!!! I’d give them 10 stars if I could! Shipping service was great. Overnight and fast.Meat showed up thawed which was unusual so i called customer service.Worst service ever! Just wanted to make sure the meat was still OK and i was instantly treated like i was trying to get free meat from them. I would strongly recommend going to another of the many companies that offer exotic meats. We also received Venison and Boar which is not what was on the advertised list, if you hunt venison is plentiful in this area.

I placed my first order last year. During pandemic time.🤦🏿‍♀️. My order was pretty big. Although I waited over a month for my complete order. I was updated and was kept posted. I even had to substitute a few things due to it not being available. I was ok with it. I’m ordering fresh cuts of meat that I can’t get in the grocery store.I placed my second order just recently, larger than the last. This time I emailed them asking them if they had what I wanted to purchase. I was emailed about a week or so later confirming they had all I requested. I sent my order.I do admit, I don’t like knowing when my order is finally completed. It seems to take awhile. Since we are talking about perishable items. You want to be close to home. I did email them in those regards . I’m sure they will give me quality care.

Really poor costumer service and an extremely bad attitude towards costumers wanting a refund for meat that went bad during delivery. Wanted to blame it on the costumer completely even though nothing on the costumers end was wrong. I see in other reviews communication and costumer service is poor. Buyers beware.

Amazing customer service. I have a hard time finding goose breasts, which my husbands family love since they grew up hunting geese. I found some from this company, and they sent the meat in great condition and it arrived well packaged, insulated, and frozen. I had ordered a goose also, but as they did not have the size that I had ordered, the owner personally called me to find an acceptable alternative and even threw in extra goose breasts for the inconvenience. Great company and I will definitely order from them in the future!

I agree with the fact that you are not ordering from Amazon Prime here..... this is an exotic meat company..... not Wal-Mart. However, I am not sure what all the complaints are about delays in arrival time or not receiving the purchase. I ordered my meat on Saturday and received it on Wednesday. I am looking forward to roasting this camel and feasting!!!!

Do not buy from this place we made a purchase over a month ago and called several times asking for our order to be sent and finally asked for a refund and still have not gotten it. What reputable company charges your credit card before mailing the product? In researching this company filed bankruptcy in 2019. THESE ARE NOT HONEST PEOPLE

They never shipped out my order. I spoke to owner three times and he promised to fill order but refused to give me a tracking number. I had to cancel order and get a refund.

To be honest, I was pretty skeptical at first while reading the negative reviews, but I was wrong to be. It was delieverd relatively quick, and the owner was very nice over the phone. The products arrived in good condition. Would definitely order from them again!

This company is a TOTAL SCAM. They sold me meat online they did not have in inventory. When my shipment never came I received a call from them saying they were substituting my order with something else. When I received the order it was totally defrosted due to shoddy packaging and I had to throw everything away. When I called them and emailed them about the condition of the order received I NEVER heard anything back from them. I have requested a charge back on my credit card. Save your money and avoid the hassle. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I made an order of a whole deer, ostrich egg and and an emu egg, I have only received the deer meat and after reaching out for my remaining items I received no follow up and no response its been about 2 months now and I followed up and still no response!!

Hey this isnt Amazon Prime. This is an independent meat market/farm, so unless you are local, youll need to work with the owner on the phone - possibly more than once - to get your order exactly the way you want it. We ordered a fresh Christmas goose and first order was mixed up in the Christmas rush and general mayhem, but as soon as we notified the owner, he fixed the error and sent a fresh goose via FedEx halfway across the country in time, texting every so often until we were satisfied. The goose was delicious! Best ever! Fresh from a farm is the way to go!

After nearly two months after ordering from this place, I’m making any assumptions based off of reviews and just the amount of time that has passed that I will never receive my product and that I have wasted 100 dollars on this business. I highly recommend never ordering from this place period. I called once to see when the order would be ready and that was nearly a month after ordering and was met with a guy telling me that the sausages were not done and that it would be another three weeks. I have a feeling he is gonna just keep saying that until finally he either says that it was already fulfilled or that I never made an order. The two day or really any type of shipping is a bold faced lie. The guy that runs this place is probably just another crook looking to make money fraudulently. Unfortunately, google doesn’t allow zero stars so, that sucks.

Meat came in damaged- several items with holes in the vacuum packing and other items not vacuumed and freezer bit. Owner was contacted and he said 2 times he’s was going to make it right and did not. Buyer beware of scam artist

Terrible experience. I wish I had read prior reviews. The $100 worth of product I ordered arrived at room temperature and had to be thrown out. The company not only won’t provide a credit or refund, getting any sort of response from their customer service department has been impossible.

The only place where I can get lamb brain, goat brain and any other very rare to find meats.

Seemed like a big SCAM to me.I called to see what was going on and the man says oh sorry about is not shipping in 2 days. In order to resolve the issue I will ship 1 day for free...I think wow. 1 day shipping for free, thats service! So I will get my $60 2 day shipping refunded and get free 1 day...Wrong!!! He will pocket my 60 dollars for a shipment that never happened and throw in 1 day shipping for free. How is it free if my $60 shipping charge is not being refunded?I said go ahead and cancel this is too weird.He said okay, the next day I get an email saying my order has shipped.... He tried to still ship it and keep my $60!!!Anyway finally I get a young man who said he would stop the order from shipping and he was the only reason I didnt look to report this company.

Your meats are GREAT!! I had the Kobe Beef that you shipped to me last week and it was delicious. All I did was put on some salt and pepper and put it in the oven broiler. I could cut it with a fork. Two days later I had the other half (it was a big piece of beef) and reheated it in the microwave. It was still juicy and again I cut it with a fork. Keep doing what you do.

I bought items from them three times before. I bought items such as camel, which I thought was delicious, and various other items like coyote and goat. The problem was that I ordered a third time and never received my stuff. After a few months, I called them and they said they didnt have certain items available, but they would ship me some other items that I wanted. They never emailed me about my order not being able to ship. They said they would ship the items on the phone, but I never received my items. No refund no response via email. Dont buy from them. When they do ship their stuff, the quality is great, and they seem to be the only online shop that I know that sells exotic meats, but they dont always ship, as seen from my experience and the various other reviews.

Its been almost a month and I still have not recieved my order or have been contacted to let me know my status.

Customer service is not too bad, they are helpful in explaining different types of meat portion cuts. I found another Market that carries much more variety of exotic meats. It’s on the corner of E warm Springs and Spencer it’s SIDRA MARKET

Great place he called me and certain things he didnt have he replaced it with something else which was a good thing for me because it would of cost more but he didnt charge me for the extra. He also shipped my orders off when he said it and I got my package today. Now I can cook out for fathers day thank you.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside but dont let that fool you. The selection of gourmet meats are amazing. A must try is the kobe style beef burger; they dont cook down like normal patties and are very juicy and have an awesome flavor. If you have a taste for higher end foods and are willing to spend a little more for quality then this place is for you.

Such a great find! This place allows both walk-ins and online orders. I did walk in and everyone working there was seriously so friendly and helpful!! They have literally any meat you could ever want to eat too! Highly recommend, I know I will be back!!

Terrible customer service. My meat was delivered completely thawed not frozen. When I called the owner he said not my problem. The meat was delivered 2nd day air in the winter and the ice in the cooler bag was still frozen......How can his packaging and delivery not be his problem?

So far, Ive bought kobe burgers, venison, and ostrich burgers. The meat was tasty, and he and associates told me how to cook the items. I pick up from the warehouse so Im able to browse before I buy. I only have two complaints so far. Upon my first visit, I stop by during store hours, but no one was there. So I set up an appointment, which he said hed be there in 40 minutes. 40 minutes was more like a hour. The next time I called in advance and set up an appointment and was told he will be there. I ended up waiting 1 and a half hour before his associate showed up. Even when I was calling while waiting he would tell me he is almost there. I like the meats, he was great when I met him, but not too organized on the schedule. I hope this improves.

I placed an order on 1 Jan 20 for quail and rabbit. I have been told they are waiting on the rabbit from the processing plant, which was two weeks ago and still no meat. I have tried to call and dont get an answer and voicemail is full. I want the meat and not a refund but if I have to get a refund I want the entire amount, not a 20% reduction.

I placed my order back in June - but after two weeks and no response, I called and they then said the meat was on back-order, would I prefer something else, so I changed my order to their recommendation, and they said it would ship that day. Again waited...no response. I called again and was told it would ship that day...but no response. I called again, and was told again it would ship that day....you got it - no response. I cancelled my order. I had ordered from this place several times and had previously had good service and wrote a good review, but now I must change my review and will find someplace else with game meats.

Id been waiting years for the lion button to become clickable on their website. One day it actually was, and Exotic Meat Market helped me overnight the meat for a BBQ in an obscure location. Their customer service is top-notch, and their product is fantastic. Ive ordered other stuff from them as well- their sausages are insanely good. I wish more food providers operated like Exotic Meat Market.

I ordered some snake meat it came and was warm to the touch called them they Reshipped it and it was warm to so I warn you not to buy from them

Anshu and his assistant Joe were amazing hosts. Had a fabulous lunch of camel burgers and enjoyed seeing the animals. Ive ordered a few times fro Exotic Meat Markets and each time everything was great. Cant wait to place my next order.

Im really very saddened by my experience. I called my regular butcher to see if they had elk meat. They were out. I called Exotic, and spoke to the owner. He said they had elk and asked how much I needed. I was working on a new recipe, so I asked for 2 lbs. Im new to LA and dont drive, so I didnt know I couldnt use mass transit to get there. He offered to deliver to me for $20. Great. He asked if he could deliver after the store closed (this was yesterday, Saturday at 2pm). I said fine. At 8pm, I text and asked what time they close. The owner, Anshu said 10pm. I asked if he was still going to deliver and he said yes, even promised.As of this writing, (Sunday, at 3:11), I stopped the bleeding and cancelled my order at 12:30. He couldnt (or wouldnt) confirm when I would have the delivery and my thresholds for preparing were becoming lost. Im preparing a catering/restaurant business and was excited to see how this would work. Back to the drawing board. :^(If they dont have what Im looking for its fine, but dont make me wait. I bought supplies for this that have to wait (or get wasted) until another vendor comes through.

Place is great, meat is delicious . Be alarmed The bad reviews come from PETA members and everyone else who is against killing animals. If you google any exotic meat market they will all have bad reviews.

Insanely fast service, ordered and recieved my meats within 24hrs. Size steak I ordered wasnt in stock so they substituted with same steak twice the size at no cost. I ordered on a shipping day listed on their website so I imagine the service isnt as fast if I ordered on a weekend. Awesome service

The suckling pig was exactly what I was looking for. However, I ordered it on Feb 28th, 2019. I got a message saying we cant ship this weekend, what day next week do you want it? I said ship the following Monday. Nothing happened for two weeks. I called on the 11th of march, they said let me call you back and find out what happened. Two days later, no call, no email. So I called back on the 13th of March, and they said our freezer is broken, we need to ship from the supplier. (which is fine...but has the freezer been broken for 3 weeks?) Still, no tracking number. So I called back Monday the 18th of March, and was promised I would have a tracking number by Tuesday and the pig would arrived the next day. Nothing happened. Finally, I called back Thursday. They apologized and said I would get a tracking number immediately, and the pig would arrive Friday. It did.The pig itself was perfect, but honestly for 200 dollars I could have driven to Florida, got the pig, and come back in well under three weeks and less than 200 in gas.

I would highly encourage you to find another supplier. Here is an example...I ordered a 32oz tomahawk ribeye and what I received was less than 16oz of meat on a huge bone. In my emails with the owner the weight includes the bone...really?It took no less than 10 messages to the owner with two answered and a complaint to Paypal to get one half of the purchase price returned.

I will say, the product I received was good, but they could not deliver the product I ordered (i.e. - they had no beaver so they sent me rabbit) They did not return emails or phone calls and it took MONTHS for them to ship my product.

I am a trapper here in Florida and the first time I heard about this place I was intrigued. Only because my father has been dealing with animals almost for 50 years now and when I heard he finally found a place to sell the wildlife he traps to a reputable company and not have to worry so much about the meat going to waste, people stealing or damaging his live traps, etc. But then I was wrong. Anshu is a thief and liar.WARNING TO OTHER TRAPPERS AND MEAT SUPPLIERS: HE DOES NOT PAY HIS BILLS. HES OWED MY FATHER MONEY FOR MONTHS NOW And I just heard hes even cussed my Dad out and threatened him. He doesnt care about the small business owners. I guess thats why hes so tight on money, because he has itHe sell a the meat for 75% more than what he buy a it for, which thats his prerogative but if only he would pay the people who gave him the meat in the first place.My dad is an honest man and now has to suffer the consequences of doing business with someone like Anshu and will not be able to go on his vacation to N.Y. this year.Hes 63 years old.Works hard like most of us and when people like Anshu does things to make others like my Dad suffer, i think they deserve more than just a bad review on Google.

Horrible Customer Service and I believe their just tring to get peoples Credit Card information. I ordered steaks from the on Thursday and paid extra for next day shipping. Come MONDAY I called and aksed them what the deal was and the guy ended up cursing me out telling me that they dont have to do anything about the mix up. I ended up canceling the order since it didnt ship when it was suppose to. Its ashame they could have a really good buisness but instead just have a bunch of Clowns running it into the ground.

This place is a scam, my co-worker ordered a 4 month shipment and everything has been rotten. The guy does not care and will not resolve or refund the issue. My co-worker has placed complaints with the FDA, the BBB, and the local attorney general. Stay away from this place or any of the shell companies set up by this guy. Also as multiple reviews say below he will be extremely rude on the phone then just hang up. This guy is a huge scam artist!

I bought lion meat and rattle snake meat from this place before and it came when it was suppose to and tasted great. Im trying to purchase more of it but im assuming its sold out. Since the prices dont make sense and are much higher then what it ordinarily would be what I paid a few hundred bucks for now being $5,000 so im assuming he did that to prevent anyone from buying it because its sold out. I sent an email but didnt get a response. Id just suggest saying its sold out and if it at all possible have the lion meats more available.Also I think some of these bad reviews shouldnt even be here its just people upset he sells lion meat even saying its illegal and thats not true. They probably never even purchased from this place and therefore have no right to give a bad review.

The place is in a shady walehouse the owner seems like his legit but is also a shady person there are numerous complaints from associates and Customers not happy why is no one investigating this business and its practices
