Bad Experience. After closing my business 9 months ago and reaching out several times, returning the CC processing equipment and communicating with your company and Streamline Business Solutions in Utah, my account is still being charged for monthly service. Potential customers-go elsewhere for your service. 0/5 stars (but I had to fill something in on Google to post this review!)
Do not use this company they are the worst! Our company has multiple locations and we use several payment processors. We decided to try Shift 4 for two new locations because of a recommendation from one of our vendors. What a mistake! Everything started out ok with the processing working properly. Then we start getting hit with all the hidden fees and charges. That is common with these processing companies but it was really high, definitely on the expensive side, no deals here. Now here is the worst part: We had to close one of these locations. Normally this is just one phone call, email to get this done, the account is suspended right away. We pay any outstanding balance and early termination fee if requested. This is not what happened with Shift 4.We have called them multiple times talking to several different people being assured this would be handled. We have emailed multiple times with various responses, this apparently does not work either. We have sent them snail mail letters and certified mail. It has been a year now, this company is in violation of our agreement. The level of incompetence over a simple matter is mind blowing. How these people have any customers is beyond me. We have since stopped payment on this ( of course ). Next we get contacted by their collections department as they have racked up almost 1k in fees on an unused account that should have been closed last year. We respond courteously and professionally explaining ( for like the 20th time at least ) this account should have been closed, etc.Their response: This account is still open
They started a scam fun called Shift 4 Cares. Heres the scam. You buy a gift card for a local business to support them for COVID. They hold on to your money for 30 days and make interest off of it, then send you your gift card! It shouldnt take anyone 30 days to mail a gift card.I called your customer service department and was on hold for 30 min, they asked me to hold longer and I told them I couldnt wait on the phone for an hour while they figure out how to run a business. Who expects someone to hold for 30 min? Thats longer than a TV show. Not only does their CS department have zero tools to do their job, they sound defeated, sad, and understand they treat people like garbage.Stay classy, your company name is one letter off of being what you are... ;)

BE AWARE. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. THEY HOLD BUSINESS MONEY ILLEGITIMATELY EVEN AFTER EVERYTHING HAS BEEN VERIFIED. THEIR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. THEY HAVE A GIRL IN THE RISK DEPARTMENT THAT WORKS THERE NAMED DAPHNEY, SHE PURPOSELY IGNORES CUSTOMERS CALLS.

Terribly inconvenient service... Shift4 Corporation uses a 3rd party service to verify identity - my name, SSN, DOB have not changed since 1971... my address has not changed since 1991... they cannot verify my information, this is very very very frustrating... so now the Shift4 tech supports have asked me to just find a stranger and enter their information - seriously? They want me to enter information for someone not related to the business, not part of the business, and who shouldnt have access to the businesses PCI compliant information in order to proceed with a simple password reset?
Never answer their phone! Whats going on here?
