Video Game Repair is a great place to have your repairs done! They repaired my PS5 the same day I brought it in and it works perfectly! I waited a few days to make sure everything worked right before leaving this review and I couldnt be happier. My PS5 tipped over and yanked on the HDMI port. My cable is fine but the HDMI port inside my Playstation 5 broke. I called, which was difficult to get through by the way. They seem to be having some phone problems, something about the phone company they use having problems right now. Once I got them on the phone though, they were very friendly, said if I brought it down right away, theyd have it fixed in no time, so of course I did, and they did! If you cant get them on the phone dont worry, Theyre there. Like the other reviews say, they do lots and lots of HDMI port replacements. There is a huge pile of broken HDMI connectors in a pile at their checkin desk from previous repairs. This is defiantly the right place to got your HDMI port replaced.

Theyre are the worst. I took in my ps4 to change the HDMI port and they wanted to charge over $150. Something I can change myself easily. When I got it back and opened up the ps4 and parts of the board that wasnt close to the HDMI were burnt. It honestly looked like the guy tried messesing with the port before I gave my consent to fix it. The port looked dirty & welled on there when I got it back. Safe yourself the trouble and do it yourself by watching YouTube, it honestly isnt that hard nor does it cost $150.

The guys that work here are very unprofessional. They need to work on there customer service. They make it seem that because they are repairing my console that they can treat people like dirt. We are paying customers and you guys are lucky my wife went to pick up the console and not me because I would of put you guys in your place. Work on running your business better and maybe people would recommend others to go to you, but not me.

This was the only video game repair shop in town that could fix my Xbox Series X HDMI port. My brother was playing around with his friend and tripped into my Xbox HDMI cord and ripped it out of the Xbox. I thought my system and my game saves were gone forever. I figure I had nothing to lose with the free estimate they offer. To my surprise Vegas Repair was able to fix it.

Im so happy I found this place. I took my PlayStation to another repair place and I found out that was a bad idea to late. After the other place took 2 weeks with out a phone call. I brought it to Video Game Repair and it was repaired quickly and it did not break the bank as they say. Wish I would of went to them sooner.

Just got my PS4 repaired with these guys yesterday and they were great. My fan was making a loud noise for a while then after 2 weeks the video would bot show. I gotta say a big thank you to this place because my ps4 was kind of broken due to corruption and freezes a lot and they have been fixing it for like at least 2 weeks and makes my ps4 go back to normal. I recommend this place to everyone who has problems with their console amd its worth it.

My PS4 still hasn’t been fixed only thing was a hdmi port it’s been 4 days I turned it in Saturday ok Sunday there closed I get it so now they have all day Monday all day Tuesday and wed they close ok I get it if it’s not done by Thursday or Friday I recommend you guys don’t come here they make you wait very long like a week for the littlest stuff but as long as they get it fixed I give it a 2.

Ive been here twice with different PS systems first time was couple years ago I looked them up theyre very close to my house. Theyre were knowledgeable of course and explaining the whole process of everything that was going to happen very nice trustworthy with the repairs and cost that they were charging I would most definitely return and suggest others to do the same

They were excellent. I had to get my Nintendo Switch fixed due to my Switch not being able to work in TV mode after I only used it once. Fortunately, they were able to fix the problem. Needed to replace the motherboard, and for labor, total was reasonable.They managed to do a free diagnosis in an hour and gave me a call for the estimate and such. After the fact, it took a few hours at the time I left my Switch to fix it.I picked it up today and everything was just fine. They do only take cash though but wasn’t a problem for me. Very friendly, didn’t feel pressured to make a purchase, and were also upfront and honest with their repairing solutions.Definitely would recommend ^^ .

Awesome customer service and perfect repairs. These guys do exactly what they say and got my PS4 fixed right. I had the infamous broken HDMI port, like everyone does. They got it fixed much faster then I thought was possible and it works perfectly! Once you see the collection of broken HDMI connectors on their workstation, it will be obvious these are the guys you want working on your console. They also replaced the thermal compound I asked for, no charge! My system is completely silent now. If I had known that was possible, I would have brought it in before, even before it broke. I cant say enough good stuff about Vegas Repair.

Took my ps4 in cause it wasnt reading discs the system was turning on normal just wouldnt read games or dvds. . Picked it up and now the whole system wont even turn on just seems weird.. guess my system was just defective..

My husband tried fixing his XBOX one bc the screen would turn green when he turned it on. Well he was not successful at all to say the least. We decided to find a repair shop that could get the job done. My kids were begging my husband to hurry up and fix the XBOX so they could play too. We found Video Game Repair on google and they gad fantastic reviews so we gave them a call. After speaking with one of their techs (i think David was his name) we felt this was our best bet to get this thing fixed. We dropped it off and they called us a day or two later to tell us that they needed to replace the motherboard and they could get it done that day. My husband said go ahead and get it done. The price was good and my kids were so happy to have their xbox one back to play. (My husband too!) Anyway, if your xbox is broken or not working right, call these guys at video game repair bc they will fix it for a good price and get your annoying husband and kids to leave you alone. Im very happy I went to Game Repair on Sunset. They fixed my PS4 much faster then I thought was possible. It stopped taking discs so they fixed the drive. The discs go in and out smoothly now and its reading faster then before too!

My xbox one x was having overheating issues. Couldnt have the system on for more than 5 mins without it shutting down. Did my own repair on replacing the thermal paste. Thought that did the trick. I was wrong. This was my last hope and I was so glad I brought here. They were a little backed up but Dave assured me that they would take a look and let me know what the problem was. They give totally FREE estimates (unlike some other repair shops) and will call you back fast. When I dropped off my system, the owner Corry was polite and let me know they would take care of me. Had Been Needing A HDMI Port replaced for almost a yr ... No one would do it .. I even tried to get it repaired thru sony or whatever and I couldnt cause they werent doing repairs(this whole virus thing) .. finally I called this guy .. brought it in .... I had a great experience, came strait in, guy greeted me from behind the door. When he came he asked what the issue was and assured me that he sees alot of HDMI problems they could definitely fix it if it wasnt too much damage. I think I waited a couple hours after dropping it off for a free diagnoses and he told me he could start fixing on it but he had to take special care when dealing with my device. I got my device in about 5 days, Very reasonable price, why buy a used..anything? This was convenient to fix my PlayStation 4. He called I dropped the cash and got my game. I reassured another couple they could fix their game and they immediately went to get their playstation. My PS4 is as good as new now. Game Repair fixed my PS4 today, the same day I brought it in! I took it in because the red light came on after I used it for an hour. They said it was a common problem and no problem for them. Now its silent, working perfectly, and I couldnt be happier.

They replaced the fan, replaced the thermal compound, and completely cleaned it out. Now it works like new. The system was very noisy before, it sounded like a vacuum, now its very quiet. Great store and easy to get to. Theyre centrally located and easy to get to from the 215. I brought my 55 Vizio TV in for repair and the team there helped me load it and unload it from my car. They got it done quickly, and for much less then a replacement. Most importantly, I dont have to teach mom how to use a new remote. Priceless!

This place is super close to the airport and I found it easily. They fixed my PS4 the same day I dropped it off. Their estimate was free and the price they charged to fix the hdmi port was definitely reasonable. I was happy the tech was able to fix it so quickly. I brought it in on a Saturday afternoon and got it back that evening. When I came to pick it up, they were fast and very nice. The tech even turned my system on and showed me that my PS4 was working perfectly and that the port was repaired. They let me know there was a warranty and to come back if there were any future issues. I will for sure come back to this repair shop.

This is the way service should be! I have never gotten service this great anywhere, in any industry. I took my PS4 in because it the fan was really really loud. They said they would fix it, no problem and theyd get it done for me right away.So they did their thing, and called my like 10 minutes later. They confirmed the problem, and said they knew exactly what the problem was, they were going to fix it right now, itll be ready in less then an hour. Well 45 minutes later, it was ready! Im very happy with this store! I took my PS4 in because the HDMI port broke. The Connector got bent when my super thick monster cable that was plugged into it got pushed against the back of my entertainment center. Apparently this is a very common problem and video game repair is very skilled at fixing it. They got it turned around the same day. It works great and is very quiet now too. It used to sound like a vacuum, which I just thought was normal with all these new graphics intensive games. When I got it home and didnt hear the fan, I actually thought they broke the fan, but it turns out it just doesnt need to spin as fast after a good cleaning, according to the guy there.

This is a great store to fix the video games. My grandsons Playstation broke and when I said I would buy him a new one, he panicked about his game saves. Video game repair described the process of recovering the data, which was way over my head, but said if it could be done, theyd get it done. Well, I took it into them, and they got it fixed the same day for us. They did an excellent job, and with it getting repaired, I didnt have to buy another or deal with the game saves. Video Game Repair is awesome!. My PS4 was running out of space, actually it has been out of space for a while now, I had to keep deleting and redownloading games, but that needed to end. Cox cable is charging for data overage now. I brought my PS4 to Video game repair, and they upgraded it for me. They switched out the 500GB drive for a 2 Terabyte one, then transferred all my data for me. Now I have plenty of space. No overage fees for you Cox! highly recommended.

I took my PS4 in last weekend on Halloween because it was overheating, and I wasnt about to pay sony $100 just to give me a replacement system that wasnt mine, which in turn I would lose ALL of my content that Ive created thus far, my system got blown out, & cleaned out and was ready to be picked up the SAME DAY that I turned it in, ever since? my ps4 hasnt overheated ONCE and the system itself is WHISPER QUIET now, Im glad that I can now play my games & experience the other apps without my system sounding like its a plane getting ready to take off the tarmac. This is the right place to go for Nintendo Switch repair. I dropped my switch, the left controller popped off and stopped working with my Switch. I took it to Video Game Repair and they fixed it for me. The controller slides on, charges and the system reads it now. Good stuff.

Video Game Repair On Sunset is great at repairs! I had them repair my PS4 because it was not reading my games. It would just make some clicking noises, and that was it. I called them, and they said they knew exactly what it was, and if I brought it right away, theyd fix it the same day, so I did, and they did. It works great now. They fixed the insert/eject part too, which I didnt even know was broken. It used to look like it was struggling to pull in discs and eject them, but now it grips them well. My Playstation also has a very loud fan that needed to be fixed too, so it was time for it to see service anyway.Anyways, they said no problem, theyll have my Playstation 4 fixed in no time. Theyll get the HDMI port replaced same day, and the fan issue, theyll take care of that FREE. Im not used to getting anything free, but they said they have to take it all apart anyway and these systems dont work right without the fan issue being fixed, so they d take care of it for FREE! They just want the system to work 100% and they were going to make it happen or they wouldnt charge anything. Well they did and it works great. Like the other reviewers said, its whisper quiet now. I bought a second hand nintendo switch that was jailbroken and the motherboard was fried, just buy new or at a game store. Went to one repair place near me but they thought it was the charging dock and didnt want to repair that but I respect that. I went to this location before I sent it to nintendo to fix and it was the motherboard. I took it in last week and Im just waiting for the call to let me know to pick up the console.The desk game is honest and there is no fee for them take a look at it. They call you to let you know whats wrong and double confirm on going through with the repair. They are honest and will let you know if they can repair it or not and have a policy of if it doesnt work after the repair you dont pay. Which is great.Will give five stars when I get my switch.Edit: got my switch back and works like a dream. They are honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. Will go to them again if I need work done again.

Theses guys are awesome! I brought my Xbox One Slim in because of a broken HDMI port, and they fixed it for me the same day. It wasnt even that expensive like I was fearing. All my game saves are still there and its like it never happened. Definitely the right choice!

This place is amazing. I picked them because of their excellent reviews, and not only did I get treated as good as I thought I would, they even went above and beyond. I brought in my Playstation 4 in because it wouldnt boot up anymore. I explained to them that I didnt really care about the Playstation, I mean of course I wanted it to work, but I could buy a new one, but the data is irreplaceable, and I have to have the data on it. They said reaching the data is very difficult, and does not always work out well, but they are computer techs, so they have some advanced techniques from their computer experience and would try everything in their arsenal to get the data back. They also explained that this type of repair would take longer then usual, because of the nature of the repair. Only 2 days later, they got it back. They replaced the bad hard drive, and got my data back. I cant believe they pulled it off. I tried everything and got nowhere. This is definitely the place to go.

Video Game Repair is the right place to go. My kids broke the HDMI port on our familys PS4 right before Christmas. Imagine going through Christmas with a broken PS4. The kids dont know it yet, but we got them new games for Christmas. Opening a new game Christmas morning, and not being able to play it, that would have been devastating. So I took my PS4 in to these guys about noon, on the last day they were open before Christmas, and they had it done the same day. Here it is a couple days later, its working great and my kids are happy. I couldnt be happier with them. Highly recommended.

This is a great place. I brought my PS4 in because the HDMI port broke and it has been running very loud for a long time. They said theyve seen it hundreds of times and pointed to a pile of HDMI ports theyve replaced since the PS4 came out and the loud fan was normal. Its not supposed to be loud, but it is normal. They said the HDMI port replacement was self explanatory, but the loud fan problem is caused by the airflow being blocked inside. They gave me a repair price for the HDMI port repair, which was reasonable, and said the overheating problem would be taken care of too, no extra charge. They clean all the systems they work on, which clears the blocked airflow, then the PS4 cools like it should, and the fan doesnt have to run full blast anymore. Well, they did, and now it works perfect and is much quieter. They know exactly what causes the problems and do a great job solving them quickly. Highly recommended.

Video Game Repair is the best. My Xbox One X, yes the new one, broke already. It turned on, but stopped showing a picture. Microsoft wanted me to send it to them, which would have taken a month, according to them!!!! I googled local stores that could fix it for me, and this place said they could do it in about a day. I took it in, and they had it diagnosed very quickly, like an hour. They said the disk drive failed and needed to be replaced. I agreed, and they replaced it. Now it works like brand new. It took about a day, so much better then microsofts month, for a system that was just a month old. Very highly recommended for fast local repair.

These guys are life savers. My Xbox One slim failed an update & showed an error instead of booting up normally. Turns out it had a bad hard drive. Im a computer tech, so I switched out my hard drive with my friends known good Xbox One drive, which gave me new errors. Nothing I tried worked, so finally I took the system into Video Game Repair and they got it fixed right up. It turns out that it wasnt all that easy either. Apparently the hard drive is joined to the motherboard by serial number and you cant just replace the drive like a computer. Information has to be retrieved from the dying hard drive to install a new one, and these guys were able to do just that. It runs much faster now too. The failing hard drive was actually slowing the system down, until it finally gave out. Definitely go to these guys for your video game repair needs. Theyll treat you right.

Had an overheating PS4 that sounded like an airplane engine when the fan would run. Tried cleaning it myself but it still overheated. These guys had my ps4 back to being quiet very quick. They kept me informed each step of the process and didnt do anything to my ps4 without my consent. This is the second time Ive gone to them because when I first got my ps4, it was broke and didnt work because my nephew dropped it. They had it working the next day. These guys are fast and know what they are doing.

PS3 with yellow light problems, I was so bummed that I look around to get it repaired. I found a place called video game repair. I took my broken console in to get a free estimate. The employees were knowledgeable. The repair rate wasnt too high and they fixed it the same day, I just couldnt get back that night to pickup. Great service and easy to get to location.

These guys are the best. My mans PS4 broke. It was red lighting and the fan was running real hard. They fixed it cheap. We dont hear it at all now.
