Well so far the hospitality was great the seamstress there was very nice and too me in right away even though there was suppose to be a client who made an appt but had ot showed up yet. But she is going to hem up some pants for me so Ill see later next week on how she did. Well picked up my pants that I asked her to make shower below the knee with a small slit on the side and they came out great. Great job

First off I noticed May by the positive reviews from her other customers. I brought my kimono that was to small for me. May adjusted the sleeve holes. She aso added cuffs to the arms and legs. All of this was done for a very low price.This fits me perfect now. Thank you May.

May was prompt in her response on Google message (where most business don’t even bother to respond), and met with me the next day. I live in the bay area. Early 2020, i was in vegas for a short visit. I was looking for an tailor shop that can do a great work & with a decent price. As i was googling that day, i found Mays Alteration with a 5* rating. Read the reviews & gave it a try. I brought my 2 jumpsuits that i purchased at the mall for alteration. It is hard to find a good tailor shop in the bay area that can doa professional work. It also costs a FORTUNE. May altered my jumpsuits & told me to come back a day before i fly back home. I couldnt tell the difference before & after. She has a magic hand. After that, i have been going to her shop everytime i go to vegas & brought her all my clothes that needed to be altered. May is a master tailor and an amazing person, a super nice lady with some serious skills. I brought in a custom designed sport coat that needed alterations. It is the most expensive article of clothing I own, and she absolutely delivered — her work speaks for itself. She did an incredible job, the coat looks amazing, and she is incredibly nice and a pleasure to deal with. Above all else, she stands behind her work and is a forthcoming businesswoman. We had a semi-custom made Halloween costume that did not fit - yes, it was an emergency. We met May on the Monday before Halloween to see if she could make it work (fit) by Saturday. I got my gown but it was a little too loose for me. May helped alter my gown. It was done very professionally, excellent hand-craft and the price she charged was very reasonable too. In addition to that, she is very honest, she gives professional advice on the alteration and she altered my gown based on my best interest. She also provide steam on the gown too. She pinned all the part that needs to be altered and a week later, when I returned, she made sure it fits well on me before she completely seal off all of alteration. I highly recommended her and you wont regret :)

May has been my tailor for the past 9-10 years and there’s no one I trust more than her. It started when I needed an emergency tailor to fix a wedding dress because the original lady had retired. May came highly recommended by my cousin. May pointed out all the mistakes the original tailor made and that she almost ruined the dress and was trying to cover up her mistakes. She not only fixed all the mistakes, but also added a few things to make the dress fit better. May tends to book quickly and I have had to go to someone else when I needed something last minute. I’m consistently disappointed with the others because they can never do what May does, especially items that need more than just a hem. May altered my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses. My dress lacked any embellishment so very good stitching and attention to tiny details are very important. I initially came to just get the dress hemmed and do some bustling (since it was already my size), but May made some suggestions I never thought my dress needed. She made my dress looked so much better after. She really knows her stuff. Her price is very fair! I had gotten quotes and consultation before so I know how much things cost. I love how she is very strict on timing which makes her very reliable. Ive heard her turn down other clients because its not enough time. Shes very honest. My husband went to a different guy to get his suit tailored. We gave him a month yet he did a poor job in the end because he forgot about us and he was rushing. So you want your tailor to be dependable and reliable like May!
