It took about 9 months to sell my business but I was told that is normal for a business of my size. Sold my practice for over $3 million.Good process, everything seemed to be organized. Even helped reduce my legal and closing fees. I would use Alan H. again. My biggest concern with selling my business was ensuring that my employees and customers did not find out that the business was for sale during the process. I had my business listed with some young hot shot broker with some firm called First Choice and was very disappointed. I totally agree with the review from above - I would use Alan again and I would not be retired without him. He handled the deal amazingly well. Frankly, I do not know how he handled everyone - the buyer, myself, wifes, CPAs, lawyers, escrow agents, banks - you name it. I could never have done that job. I had a computer related business that was also a franchise. Mr. Horwitz had owned many different types of businesses in the past including franchises and his knowledge was invaluable in getting the deal to close.
