I went into The Barbershop with long hair and only a minimal idea of what I wanted. I was looking for a classic mans cut that would keep a little length on top. Bong exceeded my expectations and gave me a classic style with a killer fade. He is a top notch barber and a fun conversationalist! Give The Barbershop at Gold Coast a shot for a well priced, well done hair cut. However, call ahead and schedule an appointment to make sure you dont risk a long wait.

Bong is terrific! We were visiting Vegas. Read the reviews on line. And were not disappointed. Great cut. Really a work of art. My teenage son has thick, wavy hair that was out of control. Bong worked with his hair and cowlicks and waves to give him a stylish cut. Inexpensive, but not cheap. Glad we came.

Made an appointment for a pedicure. I was looking for a no frills, no glitz, basic service. This was the place for a value based experience. Chandra is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, personable, and affordable. PERFECT! She specializes in being mobile and will even come to your place. Dont expect a lot of colors as she is mobile to the Gold Coast, but that wasnt a problem as I still found a color to match my shirt.I set out the day before looking for a place along Flamingo and walked a mile or two from the Rio looking for an affordable place. I found two others but they smelled bad or didnt have anyone available.

Came in with a friend from Germany who refused for almost 40 years to have a decent hair cut. Simply asked Mr. Bong to make a new man out of him. And boy, did he. Mr. Bong was excellent. He’s very particular about scheduling and likes for people to give him advanced notice if they’re going to cancel but besides that the guy is an artist. Mr. Bong really took care of me. I dont know haircutting lingo but told him a rough idea of what I really wanted my hair to look like. He told me what he recommends based on the shape of my head and how my hair flows so I took his judgement and ran with it. Sure enough it came out absolutely perfect. Hell...it looks better than I expected it to come out. Whenever I come back to visit Vegas Ill be coming to Bong to get my hair just right. Amazing haircut, its that simple. The barber Bong was fun, charismatic, and at the same time very professional and attentive to every single detail. This man knows what hes doing. It was the most comfortable an hour and a half Ive spent on a barber chair. If youre in town and need a slick cut, Bong is the man to go to.

Before coming to this barbershop I called to ask for prices. Once I walk into the barbershop and verify the prices the barber begins to argue with my friend and I. Telling us we are lying when his website and he says that the prices are $20 for a haircut. He begins yelling and claiming the prices are $30 and $35 for haircuts. I pull up the website and even show him and his assistant the prices on THEIR website! It says $20 and $25. He starts cursing at us and telling us to leave because we are liers. I ask what his name is and tell him that Im writing a review and he ignores me. Walks past me and as hes walking away trash talking us. NEVER GO TO THIS BARBERSHOP. If it was possible to give zero stars I would. Ive had such a bad experience I must take it up with the hotel management.

This barbershop sucks. I went in for a straight razor shave he started with a electric razor. Which was weird. But then he did a regular shave. He did not use hot foam. And he took a 1-inch chunk out of my beard. I didnt have my glasses on so I didnt notice it until after I had paid and tipped him. Then I noticed it and asked what happened here and he says oh I got it a little close there but its not that noticeable. And that was it no offer to fix it or anything so I left will not be going back. Worst shave ever.

First off, I didnt even know that there was a barber shop inside of Gold Coast Casino. If a first timer, be sure to refer to the map at the entrance to find the barbershop in the location that its in. Also be sure to have cash in hand for the cut because the ATMs arent forgiving with the surcharges. That being said, the setting reminds me of an old school barbershop which I absolutely love. Mr. Bon, the man youll be expecting to work with you is an absolute master at his craft. You communicate exactly what you want and he will give it to you. The way he cut my hair was unlike anything I have experienced before. I could not wait for my hair to grow back so I can come back.

Unique experience, you wont find places like this anymore. Claude, the owner managed to squeeze me in despite no appointment, luckily for me. Paid close attention to my requests and managed to give me exactly what I needed with no issues all the while striking a very warm conversation. Will definately visit again while in town and strongly recommend the place.

Worst barbershop ever. Thay told me to come in at 2pm. When I got there he told me to come back in an hour. I replied that I just walked 40 min to make the 2 oclock appointment. He replied that he is not a machine and he is taking a break and if I dont like it I can get my hair cut somewhere else.

My regular barber (at another shop) was on vacay, so I thought Id give this place a try since i was at palms right across the street. It was a Saturday, so I gave the courtesy of calling ahead. The barber said come after 4 or 5pm. I showed up at 5:15p to be told he wouldnt take me. I will never go or advise anyone go to this unprofessionally run establishment

Based on the reviews, I made my way here today. Opening times are not as stated until 7 p.m. but only until 6 p.m. I have already informed Google of a corresponding change. I was at the store at 5:20 pm. Everything inside was on, only the door was locked. The OPEN sign blinked. A lot of people said he was just taking a short break, hed be right back. I waited until 6:10 p.m. So almost 1 hour. Nobody came !!! Untrustworthy!!!
