Found this place online and made a same day appointment. Super friendly on the phone. Andres did a great job on the haircut. Atmosphere was welcoming and fun. Will definitely go back when I’m back in Vegas

Came into Las Vegas for my first trip in over a year to relax and unwind, and speakeasy is just the place for it. I found them while looking for straight razor shaves and the reviews are completely accurate! Alejandro and Andres were more than personable, beyond professional, and supremely talented. My friend and I got the full shave and trim experience and left feeling rejuvenated. I was looking to get a more modern beard style and they knew just what to do and I left looking better than I ever have. 10/10 would recommend, will be coming by every time I’m in town!

This was my first time getting a shave from a barber, so I dont have another experience to compare, but if there is a better shave experience elsewhere I would be shocked. This was an excellent experience. Andres was wonderful at walking me through the process and taking his time with all the details. I loved the hot towels with lavender and lemon essential oils. The shave went both with and against the grain. Its no wonder that this shop is in high demand and recommends scheduling appointments several days in advance. I will definitely consider returning the next time I am in town. Highly recommend.

Youll see on the website: speakeasy haircut and regular haircut. The price difference is $10 dollars. I feel if your treating yourself, then do it. The speakeasy youll receive extras like scalp treatment, hot towels, etc.During the days of covid: I called for a reservation, I believe they are needed. I set my appointment for the next day. The barber shop is on the second floor of the El Cortez, by the gaming tables. I had to wear a mask the whole time but that doesnt bother me.Overall: Had a great time. Conversation was easy and flowed naturally. He had a radio station playing the whole time but was not loud like some places I have been. Very clean establishment. I recommend.

I work full time downtown and its hard to make time for a good haircut. Not only is this spot perfect for people like me, its a great spot for tourist looking to clean up before an evening on Fremont Street.Andres runs a clean and professional business. He and his team do an outstanding job, and I always walk away feeling fresh.Be aware this is a small, out of the way spot and these guys are very busy! Do not expect walk-in service. Call ahead and book an appointment, you will not regret it.

One of the best if not the best hair cut/ beard trims I’ve ever had! My only barbershop!

This was the first legitimate haircut and bead trim Ive had in 3 years. After years of going to Supercuts or Sportscut and getting inconsistent or not what I asked for haircuts, I decided I needed a regular barber. The place has a really cool mix of an old-school barber shop but with a hip vibe and the guys there are really cool and knowledgable. They really take their time and ask you questions to figure out exactly what youre looking for. The professionalism showed immediately. After just an initial pass I could see I was getting exactly what I was asking for. I did the haircut, beard trim, razor and hot towel treatment and my face feels softer than a babys bottom. If youre coming in for the full treatment, make out about an hour and a half. They really take their time so dont expect a 10-minute in and out. And to the women who might be reading this, if you have a good man in your life, treat him to the full service here; hell love it. And lastly, parking is convenient. If you have an appointment, just pull into the valet at the El Cortez and theyll park your car for you.

This was awesome. Great haircut, great service, good prices for the quality and attention to detail you get. But I MUST reccomend the beard shape and trim. My wife surprised me and our son with an appointment here so we could get the full treatment before a wedding this weekend. The only thing I regret is not coming here sooner. You want a good classy barbershop look no further, my boys got the juice. Not only is their professionalism through the roof but the sheer talent behind the clippers is tremendous. You tell them you want your hair in a particular way,and they hit it right on the nail. I personally get cut by Alejandro his creativity has surprised me, and gave me a cut that makes me look great. There isnt really any better barbershop in town that has this level of service around so honestly dont mind the drive.

Andreas did a fantastic fade. Opt for the $45 dollar scalp treatment. Worth the value. My head feels refreshed. If you go next door to Eureka! You can order their cocktail A Little Off The Top. It is a splitbase manhattan/martini using rye, gin, dry vermouth, orange bitters and a dash of rose water.Call for a reservation 2-3 days in advance for the best chance to lock in your preferred appointment, but they can sometimes squeeze walk ins in as well.

The Speakeasy Barbershop is the definition of what a real mans shop should be. Tucked away inside El Cortez hotel and casino in downtown Las Vegas this hidden gem gives off that classic old school barbershop vibe. Its clean, fresh and welcoming. I was greeted by Alejandro who, especially after todays experience, will be my new barber going forward. Every detail in this haircut was taken into consideration from beginning to end. All I had to do was answer how I wanted my hair cut and Alejandro made it happen. I had my hair washed and dried at the end so I didnt have any of those itchy hairs all over my neck and shirt. It was a professional and clean experience. Thank you, Alejandro, for your professionalism, time and most importantly for an outstanding haircut.I want to add something important: upon entering this shop I noticed both barbers were wearing masks. They also allowed me to wear one for the duration of my haircut. All scissors, razors and my chair looked extremely clean and sanitized. This is important especially in these times.

Unfortunately my review is only based on the customer service. I was not fortunate to have had my haircut here during my stay at the el cortez. Wish i did though! I walked in the shop and was immediately greeted with kindness! I only went in to ask if they sold hair combs. They dont but was given one by the barber and to me that was awesome! I will be returning in the future to get a full service haircut! Thanx for the comb!

I would like to first say that this is probably one of the top barbershop experiences I’ve had in quite a while. Some other shops could learn from these guys. I flew in from California & was able to get one of the last appointments for the day. Andres is great at his job. He cut my hair perfectly and has a great sense of customer service. I have seen people get shaved in real life and movies- always with fear and wonder what it feels like- to have a guy with a blade near your face and neck- I finally Did It! It was the most amazing experience at the hands of a gentle Barber! This guy was GOOD! Every time I visit Vegas- I am getting a shave and haircut!

My best friend and I went to see the guys for our pre-wedding festivities. We both enjoyed the full package, which is busting at the seems with quality. The guys had us enjoying every second of our experience there. 11 out of 10! Highly would recommend. This will be the only place I get service from now on.

The two gentlemen that operate this barbershop are top notch barbers in the old school tradition! I have been in search of a new place to get a full shave, since my barber retired, in Las Vegas and I have found a new home for getting my shave when ever I am in Vegas now. Dont let the casino fool you their shop is clean and well maintained. The shave is the most reasonably price in the Valley and did take almost of a full hour as advertised. They could use a little more directional sign on how to get there but it really is not hard to find once you are on the right floor.

Best haircut of my life. Didn’t have that awkward feeling you have to talk about. It was worth more than any massage. I will definitely be back. Also cool you can have a beer while you are getting the haircut. Really nice vibe. Can’t wait to go back!!! The works is expensive but worth it. I got a beard trim, shave, and had my hair cut and the back and sides cleaned up. I sometimes have a hard time finding barbershops that will take someone with long hair. Was in town for a few days and just decided i wanted a new look. Called around to a bunch of barber shops but speakeasy was the only one with openings for that day. I walked into the shop and immediately could feel a good vibe. I met my barber Alejandro, really cool, friendly guy right off the bat. I was the only one in the shop which was nice and also got to talk to the other barber Andres who was also really chill. Alejandro did a great job trimming my beard and made sure my hair had the look i was going for. You can tell he really pays attention to detail and wants to make sure you walk out looking good. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of the shop, which was really interesting. He also did a great job of recommending things to do and places to eat around town. I wish Alejandro and Andres we’re locals from where i come from. If you’re in Vegas and need a cut definitely go see them.

Fantastic experience! I went for the full Speakeasy Experience. And I cant wait to come back. This will definitely be how I start all my trips to Vegas. This was my first time in and Andres made me feel like a long time customer. Very chill spot, good music and most of all a perfect shave and haircut.

Easily one of the best shops in town. If you get there early make sure to grab a free cup of coffee in the waiting area and youll feel right at home. Great prices, staff and service.

We stumbled across this barbershop while visiting Fremont and I’m so glad we did! We’re from Georgia and my husband has been wanting a straight edge shave for a while, but we just haven’t found a place worth going to. This shop has the old school vibe with the kindest, friendliest barbers! They described everything in detail, were beyond accommodating, and very humble. Went to see the guys at speakeasy before my best friends wedding. Ive never had a full barber experience and Alejandro hooked me up! I am pretty sure Ive never had my hair or beard look this good. If I lived in Vegas Id come see these guys every month!

The service is 5 star with a hot towel treatment at the end. I showed him a picture of what I wanted which was a mid fade long on the top and I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED from the picture. He knows how to use the scissors which made my haircut very clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Shop has the coolest vibe to. Best barber shop in vegas.

Lol Andres asked if someone already assisted me of course no one did. Told him I have my son who needs a hair cut. Once he took care of my son, his energy, his personality, his characteristics and the sense of humor; amazed me! What I love is that he makes you feel like your home! He, so welcomed! Followed him to his new shop, Speakeasy Barber shop and Im amazed of what he has created! His work, his energy and everything else has me coming back so he can take care of my kids! My kids love him btw!!

Speakeasy Barbershop is tops on my list! I will never come to Vegas again without getting a haircut and shave at Speakeasy. Andres’s attention to detail combines old school technique and craft with new technologies and science. He knows what he is doing! Very relaxing and refreshing all at the same time.
