Love this place. Mo cut my hair this time. No matter what barber touches cuts my hair always looks dope. Im from Oakland and play a lot of poker out in Vegas. Found this little gem and have made them my new barbers. Plus they have a beer fridge while you wait !!!

First off the shop has a super chill vibe the guys are koo. Second Ryan did such a great job taking care of my beard. Im definitely coming back.

I really wanted to like this place. Its a chill place, the beer is free, the hair cut was great. Things fell apart on my shave. The guy cut me in 4 places, and missed half the hair on my face. Some of the hair is still a quarter inch long! This review was posted 1 hour after my visit!

Chops has expanded his barbering empire with this new shop. I took my sons to see barbers Ryan and Caleb and the results are outstanding! The shop has a Classic vibe, it reminds me of a barbershop that my grandfather would have gone to in Nebraska. The barbers are all top notch and they offer beer for the dads and Capri Sun for the little guys. If you need a shop that will give you a Classic or Modern cut while enjoying a great atmosphere and spirited conversation go see the fellas at Chops Barbershop, your hair will thank you.

I called chops this morning to see if they were able to fit us in last minute for my son. Richie was able to get us in at noon and he did an amazing job. Service was fast and thorough. Staff was welcoming and the environment was clean and comfortable we will defiantly be returning .

2 of the barbers dont wear mask will serving customers. The customers dont have a choice. They have to remove the mask for them to trim beard. But for service personnel to not wear a mask and jeopardize the health of customers is not exactly good for the clients. It shows they dont care about the health of the clients. Just imagine they are as close as 1 feet from you without a mask.

I sat there for 15 minutes no one said boo to me at all. So I walked out. There was 3 barbers doing nothing.

After moving to the Las Vegas area six years ago I found myself in search of a reliable barber. After countless barbershops and numerous let downs I stumbled across a barbershop that Chops was working at. Chops only cut my hair a few times at that shop being that it was first come first serve. Nevertheless each time he cut my hair I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. I continued to follow Chops and a few other barbers from shop to shop always pleased with the results. Now with his new shop I’m able to make an appointment at my convenience for myself and kids. Thank you Chops for giving excellent service and providing an establishment that I’m comfortable bringing friends and family to.

While traveling a always scout out true barber shops just like this one. Very comfortable, chill, and welcoming atmosphere at Chops in a cool, alternative neighborhood in the arts district. My barber was Ryan and he was great! He not only gave me a most excellent cut/ fade, he listened to what I wanted and my style goals and gave suggestions and ways to style it myself. I will seek out Vegas trips in the future just to get my haircut at Chops!!

This is a great place for a haircut or a beard trim or a shave. It is in an old part of downtown in an old building that looks pretty historic. The guys go out of their way and take their time to make sure you get exactly what you want. The shop has a lot of interesting stuff around it as well as beverages for you to enjoy while youre getting a haircut or while youre waiting. I highly recommend this place

Ive been taking my 12 year old to Chops since he was 7. We absolutely LOVE the atmosphere and Chops has plenty to entertain the eye and slightly twisted soul for those of us who wait. Another one of Chops s barbers carved the VGK logo in my kiddos hair their inaugural year during the playoffs. He/it was on national TV throughout the playoffs. The place is one of a kind and they are a tried and true classic barbershop. I followed Caleb from Goodtimes, hands down one of the best barbers in the business, but even if I had to go to another barber in that shop, I know I would be taken care of. Not one bad barber in there. Great attitudes and all around bada** gentlemen who clearly care about their clientele.

Let me start by stating that I was (by far) the least coolest dude in this place. Walking in you are greeted by some serious barbers who look like they could just as easily be the Sons of Anarchy or the winners of Fight Club. However, what they actually “are” is the best experience you’ll have in Vegas. They are authentic...not the BS contrived wannabes, but the real thing. Serious chops on lid game and beard game with hospitality to boot...PBR, shot or bottles water offered upon arrival. Ryan Maynard worked his craft and I left with some serious swagger. He also hooked me up with some fantastic restaurant suggestions. These guys support other local businesses. Check them out, you’ll be damn glad you did.
