Kat was talking to me today and I just wanted to say that she’s pretty freaking awesome. Ive been here with this storage facility for over a year and half and never once have I had an issue with anyone in the office. Ive even broke a piece of the gate off (its was fixed) but they were calm cool and collective. I love this place not only for the safety but the staff is freaking great. This is the only location that I will rent a storage unit from in Las Vegas. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating. The units are clean and competitively priced. The access hours are generous. The only caveat is that KAT needs to be there full time. She is the standard that all others should be measured by.

I came to get Christmas tree etc.Come to see someone put gum right on my lock.It was frozen stuck but managed to pick it off but then my key broke off into the lock 😡I went to the office and Dean was happy to help meHe Gave me a new lock and came to my unit to cut the old one off. Terrible service. I took me 30 minutes to get someone on the phone for pricing and they didnt know what was available if anything at all. The lady in the phone rude and interrupted me several times with what they couldnt do. Very negative call. I wanted to know what they could do but the representative want qualified to do her job apparently. Ill take my business elsewhere.

Needed a storage for my funko pop collectibles which I personally carried a lot of for a short period of time. The property manager on site was very nice and more than accommodating and they had the best prices I’ve seen in a while. Storage units are clean and well kept. Will do business again

We now have 4 rental units at the Lone Mountain & Jones location. Ive worked with Lee and Summer when renting the first 2 units. Ive also worked with Robin and her mother, Aggie when renting the last 2 units. As Ive stated in a previous review, Lee and Summer are the best. Robin and Aggie greet you with big smiles, are very helpful and efficient and you can tell they love their job and their customers.This StorageOne facility is so clean and its area is easy to maneuver large U-Haul type trucks. I give this facility and its Managers and relief Managers 5 stars because it just doesnt get any better.Layne and Tom M.

Well I just want to compliment the husband and wife who were working on Saturday afternoon. I stopped in to check RV storage prices, and there were several customers including a rather obnoxious and rude man. They handled everything and everybody with such kindness, especially with this elderly lady.I didn’t stay because there were several in front of me, but I was impressd with everything. It looked clean and secure.

Fast friendly help. Very knowledgeable and able to assist us in selecting the correct size unit. Plus we got in on a great special Very customer friendly access hours from 5AM to 11PM.

Its everything a storage place should be. Easy, freindly, and youre going to be treated like a person. No hidden fees, no extra paperwork. Love it.

I had a unit here for almost a year. The rates are competitive and the guy at the front desk is awesome. The property is kept clean and the units are in good shape. Next time I need a unit I will for sure be going back to Shield.

RENTERS BEWARETheir communication is poor and they charge and/or sell your items saying they reached out but then provide no documentation of their alleged communication attempts.As a business owner myself I have a certain responsibility to my customers. They do not value customers and simply want to manipulate situations for their financial gain.

I own a salon here in the valley and this place was the best place I found to keep all my equipment it was the perfect temperature inside and Marshall was very inventive and answered all my questions.

I needed to find a place for my RV and this place looked clean and safe and it was a great experience for me! Marshall, who was in the main office, was a great person who took me on a tour around the place and left me satisfied with everything that I needed.

I received a fair price and a convenient location. I was treated politely and given an excellent explanation. It was a pleasant surprise to have such a cordial business experience.

This was owned and operated by Storage One for many years and they were fine. A few months ago they were sold to Shield storage and it has been a nightmare. We rent three storage units. They raised the rates on the units, they refuse to turn on the coolers in the climate controlled building, one Sunday we arrived to work in the unit and they had locked us out of the gate because they didnt record the 10 day extension we had paid for the unit. (we were in the process of moving out). We had to make three calls to their call center and wait 1.5 hours before the manager arrived to fix the error. There are many days that the manager (male) has taken a 2.5-3.5 hour break during the middle of the day. It is often dirty. There is trash that is there for days before someone picks it up. Needless to say we have moved our three units to another facility. We are saving considerable amounts every month and dont have to put up with horrible management.A final note to add to this review. We arrived this am to remove the last load from the unit. Someone between 2pm yesterday and today filled our lock with super glue. We could not get into the unit. It is not difficult to figure out who did this. Done just after the bad reviews posted yesterday. Please consider carefully whether you want to deal with these people.

This place used to be storage one. They were bought out by this new company. Since then, everything has gone down hill. Trash all over, raised prices, etc. I will be moving to a new storage place. I do not recommend getting a storage unit here or any other shield storage place.

Outstanding customer service by both Summer and Keiva. I have rented 3 storage units at this location over the past few months all at different times and days. These ladies have both provided a hassle free and very quick service as far as renting the units, both super friendly. Storage One after comparing prices seemed to be a little cheaper than the other ones I researched. What really made me come back and rent a second and third when I needed it was mostly the customer service that the ladies provided. Not a lot of people care about providing great customer service anymore but clearly is not the case when it comes to Keiva and Summer. Thanks ladies for your help.

Went to Shields Storage on North Jones today. Mitchell was very helpful and friendly, explaining the contract and the insurance. I would definitely recommend them for your storage needs.

This facility was originally managed by StorageOne and with them the property and staff were great. Once shield storage took ownership a couple months ago, this place has become a complete nightmare. I am never able to reach anyone in the office which is extremely frustrating. The office is usually closed for 2-4 hours in the middle of the day and sometimes closed before 6. I have literally called almost 20 times in a day and still no one picks up the phone. I end up reaching the call center which charges for over the phone payments or I am forced to call another facility to make my payment. The facility also looks really trashed, possibly due to the lack of staff occupying the facility. If anyone is looking for storage, avoid this place completely because you will only be disappointed. I am now in the process of finding another storage facility to store my belongings.

Marshal was the man, I had so many issues and he was accommodating and made is easy as possible. If you want straight forward price with no hidden fees I would recommend shield storage.

Rented here a year ago under StorageOne came back and its now a Shield Storage. The gate hours are better. The prices are better and service seems to be better as well. They held my reservation for a week and when I came I had reserved the wrong spot. The manager said it wasnt an issue and didnt even charge me for switching after making them wait.The facility was super clean. The units are made out of steel. I had never seen a steel walled unit before so that was neat. He showed me how the alarms worked on the unit. We get a code that unlocks the gate and turns our alarm off at the same time. Then when we leave the alarm turns back on.I thought that was super cool as I never had that before. I thought maybe ninjas would pop out. I wasnt being nefarious so I certainly hoped not.The manager showed also showed me how I could stack my stuff up to use the space correctly. This way I dont have to have three units for no reason. Its smarter to use the space correctly and not just put a small amount in multiple units like some kind of idiot. That saved me money too. They also have these circle locks that every unit uses. Its part of the security as well. This way everyones unit is locked tight and you dont have to wonder if your lock is good enough. My unit has a light in it with a timer too. So they are energy smart and not wasteful. That might actually save them money but it still saves the environment over all so thats good right? The area outside has plenty of room to park and seemed safe they have cameras which adds to security. All thats missing from this place is a Star Bucks and it might be heaven. Then again they did have all the packing supplies I could carry so it might just be. I was going to have to stop at Walmart and get some of those smelly food boxes but I didnt have to as they had boxes, bubble wrap, stuffing paper, dish holders, tape abounding over. Who knew storage places carried all this stuff. He even helped me find a UHaul dealer and offered to help me find some movers. They dont actually do any of that but he said he knew some companies that I could check out and other customers have used them before.The cell coverage here is great too. They have cell towers and an American flag. Most companies arent patriotic anymore. Not Shield Storage. 50 ft flag pole complete with giant flag. The other pole looks like a giant tree and actually have bark on it. I liked that you dont have to stars at ugly cell poles like other places.As for the price youd think youd have to pay millions of dollars for service like this but.its actually one of the least expensive places around the area. I got a 10x15 with climate control for less than I paid for a 10x10 at Uhaul.Moving in was super easy. We did it today. The gate held its self open for our two trucks and we drove right up to the first door. Carts were righ inside and we were able to put everything inside quickly. It wasnt too hot today so Im glad the air isnt on yet. I cant imagine freezing air blowing on you when its only 75 degrees outside. The manager said they dont turn them on till it gets warm. This way no one will be too cold. Makes sense to me.I dont get excited about much and its usually not storage but Im glad my move when easy and the staff here made their part so much easier than I have experienced in the past.Oh the manager rescues dogs too. Which I used to do a while back. He gave me info on how to reconnect with some of the groups in Las Vegas.

I am a real estate agent in Las Vegas and clients will ask me for referals on lots of necessary items attached to moving. One very important need is a good storage unit. I always recommend Storage One on Jones and Lone Mountain and the great husband and wife team in Charles and Carolann. They are just the best! I know my clients will be treated with repect, honesty, a helpful attitude and fair prices. My family and I use the facilities and I have never been disappointed. Charles and Carolann have become like family to me; I cant say enough good things about them.But go in, meet them and rent from the best stroage unit in town.

Professional and personable, second time we have rented here and less thsn mile grom jome, has swamp cooled units, waive monthly insurance if you have on your home policy and provide proof.
