I’ve been setting up a large-scale production five years consecutively this is the first time that I had to deal with encore productions. The previous contractor was PRG, they were a joy to work with. I can’t say the experience was very good. There were lots of questions before the show when it came time to actually do the work the person that made all the requests for details decided to take a fishing trip so the people left in charge had to be informed as to the entire scope of the job. luckily it wasn’t a large job, it was just a safety line. When it came time to remove the safety line they wanted to do it on their timeline instead of working with me and my crew in a safe manner. This led to numerous phone calls and talk of costs rather than of what the client needs to safely finish the job. When they were told what time they could come back and finish they didn’t show up until two hours later. And then they claim that they’re going to be billing the client for 12 man hours of work that they did not do.Then these people decided to go to the venue for and complain that they weren’t allowed to pull a safety feature on their timeline instead of waiting until the work is completed below before removing said safety line. I would not recommend this company because of its unscrupulous billing practices it’s unwillingness to work with the clients needs and with the unprofessional manner in which they tried to sabotage relationships in the future.
