I brought a watch in for a new crystal. A couple other places quoted me at 200$ and and up, 6 weeks. Austins offered a much better price and faster turn around time. Very professional to pleasant to interact with. Like brand new 🤓

I have brought over my $750 watch to them to get a battery replaced and they cracked the glass with their watch press. I didnt want to say anything to them due to me thinking it may have always been there. I had the same exact watch that has no cracks of stresses in the glass. I went to them again and sure enough, they cracked that one too. I know I wont be going there again to get watch batteries changed.

I took a ring in to be resized. Both of the men working were very friendly and courteous. The man waiting on me said the person who does the work comes from El Paso only one day a week. I picked up my ring the day I was told it would be ready. It was perfect. This will be my go to jeweler.S. Gillespie

Jewelers can be very shady and their markup is 400%.., Austins however are very trustworthy and fair. Ive enjoyed my dealings with them. By reading the lower reviews, it appears folks think theyre rude. I found the owner to be frank and to the point. I suppose this could be mistaken for rude.

My watch was running slow, obviously in need of a new battery. After the lady at Austins put a new battery in, the hour hand on my watch swung freely and the minute hand ran much faster than it should. Their response, your watch must have suffered some traumatic shock. They suggested that I send it to Johnstons Jewelry in Ruidoso. A watch that I wore into the store, now is in the mail at my expense.

Mistake going there!! Sold a name brand ring there he said was only worth $20 because diamonds were small, only silver part was worth anything etc. Saw it cleaned up and back up for sale in his display case for $1,900.00!!! Shameful....smh

Brought a ring in for repair. The selection of museum items was neat to look at. Staff were professional and prompt. However I drove from Alamogordo to pick up a week later. They called me two times to check the quote with me....yet when I showed up. No ring. Very disappointed not even offered a discount for their mistake. :(. Wont be back

Couldnt be more pleased. Dropped my ring off to be sized and was ready the same day. Everyone was very nice and the work on the ring was perfect. Great price too.

I took a pice in to be converted to a tie tac. This was two days before Christmas so I knew it would probably be awhile. The next morning they called to let me know it was ready. They did a great job on the piece. I would definitely return for future business.

Rude to a deaf person, speaking so fast that i cant understand what the man said i brought several items in to find out what level they are, he looks at the tags and tosses it to the side and said some thing to me obviously rejecting the jewelry but i have no idea what. i contacted them on facebook to find out what they said and they wont tell me ....i think he said something insulting and doenst want the public to know WELL NOW THEY DO!

1st of all, they answered the phone when I called to check their hours. No other jeweler in LC did.They were friendly and considerate. They sized my late fathers ring for a price I could afford and mailed it to me saving me a return 120 mile roundtrip trip to Cruces. When I showed them another ring i had bent, they not only reshaped it at no cost they cleaned it too. They also carry a large assortment of affordable used jewelry. Who does that!? But perhaps most impressive was the in-store ring museum. A collection as old as history itself. Just WOW!.Signed bobbycspain

Dropped off my wedding ring to be engraved with the promise it would be ready for pickup at 4:30. I get a call from Austins at 4:00 telling me they can not engrave my ring. I will never go to Austins again!!
