After a total knee replacement my insurance base physical therapy was only 12 sessions. I started working one on one with coach Natalie and in less than 6 months after the surgery I was able to run a short distance with no pain. I could also squat, jump and had more mobility and was able to start working out and taking classes again. They are very caring about you. They would scale the workouts to my ability as I gradually gain strength and mobility. In less than a year from the surgery I would say I am 95 percent and excited to get that 100 percent goal of mobility. Besides that, the whole atmosphere of the place is not one of a gym. Although the workouts can be hard, everybody seems to enjoy it after wards. The members are great, the coaches are amazing. There are no egos there!

I have been going to this CrossFit gym for 2 years, and love how being stronger helps me daily. The coaching staff help everyone find appropriate modifications, and there are plenty of class times to make it each week.

I worked out at Desert Devil CrossFit for approximately 6 months. I was in the area with the military so I looked for a local CrossFit gym. At the time I started there were two CrossFit gyms in the Las Cruces. My plan was to try both gyms and stay with the one I liked the best. After my first class I knew Desert Devil CrossFit was the place I needed to be and wanted to be. The coach and the members immediately made me feel at home and welcome. I enjoyed the friendships and the tough workouts at Desert Devil CrossFit. The owners are very dedicated to the gym members and their personal improvement. The coaches helped me improve several lifts and pull-ups by tweaking my form and positioning. I highly recommend Desert Devil CrossFit to anyone looking for a permanent or temporary gym home. You never know who will show up to workout at Desert Devil CrossFit. The 6:30 am class is the best class and they have the most fun with coach Kelsey!

My favorite place in the whole world. Ive been here for 5 years, through the birth of a child, and plenty of injuries. Couldnt imagine working out anywhere else!

Best things about DDCF: 1. The people and community. 2. The amazing coaches 3. The workouts.I am a stay at home mother of 4 wonderful girls who was tired of the same gym routine and not seeing any progress.I have been with DDCF for a year now and I can not say enough on how life changing it has been. I have made the best of friends, and have learned to do things I never thought I could do. Never in my life have I been able to climb a rope and now I can! Yes the workouts are hard but the community and support you get makes it all worth it. You never know what you can do until you show up and try! Come see for yourself!

The moment that I walked in this gym I knew I was going to love it. The trainers are very nice and personable. The people that attended the gym at the time gave me a very warm welcome and made me feel very comfortable. I have been attending for a little under 2 years now and I can say this place is awesome! This gym is accommodating to all types of people...from the starters who have never exercised and the extreme crossfitters. If you are looking for a gym to attend or traveling by, look no further, this is your gym. I guarantee it!

CrossFit is not a place, it’s a people! The community that this gym has built is unexplainable and must be experienced for one to understand the love and acceptance it has to offer. Every single person I’ve met through this gym has a special place in my heart. I can’t thank them enough for taking me in as one of their own. Desert Devil CrossFit has done more for me than they probably realize. For example (one of many), my parents came with me to do the Murph for Memorial weekend and they loved it. I have never seen my mother so excited about working out and so committed to do the warm up correctly. I have never seen my father so focused on execution of exercises and getting completely lost in his own little world. They expressed to me that they have never felt so welcomed! Especially after negative experiences they’ve had at other gyms; they’d felt judged simply because of their workout attire and/or because they didn’t speak English. They now understand why my love for these people is unmeasurable. So yea, Desert Devil CrossFit is not a place, it’s amazing, outstanding, heartwarming, out of this world people!
