I needed to come in immediately with an intense tooth pain, and within 2 hours of calling, I was there getting treatment. The staff was courteous and efficient as always. I appreciate their quick response.

I had a crown dental service today to replace a cracked filling at Desert Peaks Dental. The experience was very enlightening and positive for me. I was very nervous because I had not received any type of dental service for a very long time other than regular dental cleanings. Dr. Plue and her assistant were very thorough and gentle to help me feel comfortable and pain free throughout the entire procedure. I was surprised when they told me they were done, because the time flew and I almost fell asleep. I couldn’t believe that this type of dental work could actually be enjoyable instead of a nerve wracking experience where pain is often felt due to issues with anesthesia. Very good experience from everyone I meet. They have clearly taken every precaution for Covid-19 they could. Was able to get appointments right away for both my husband and I. From the receptionist, to the tech who took my X-rays (which since I have a bad gag reflex, was extremely kind and patient), to the hygienist (who answered all my questions), to the dentist...it was all first class care. I moved to Las Cruces during the pandemic and am thankful I found excellent dental care. Thank you.

It had been almost 1 year since my last dental cleaning primarily due to COVID-19 shut downs. Finally was able to get in and the place has changed dramatically. Looks like a movie set for some major disaster relief saga. Fortunately, there were no stretchers with sheet covered bodies. I was greeted by friendly mask covered faces complete with their usual highly efficient office personas. Laura soon appeared and ushered me into her lair for my cleaning and exam. We spent a few moments catching up on each others exploits since we last spoke. Then she went to work checking and cleaning all the nooks and crannies of each tooth with skill and gentleness. Final result - great checkup. I highly recommend Desert Peaks Dental.

I’m very happy to find a good dentist and dental hygienist. My hygienist, Lorena, was absolutely wonderful and efficient. Dr. Plue was very friendly and addressed her concerns about what procedures needed priority, and I did not feel pressure to have any unnecessary dental work. I felt comfortable at this clinic especially during Covid as it was modified to protect the employees and the patients.

The staff is very friendly to patients and to each other. Great welcoming environment and very efficient. They fit me in when I had a dental “emergency” and was experiencing discomfort. They are always on time and I don’t ever recall having to wait past my appointment time to be seen. Highly recommend Dr. Pinholster and his staff!

We have been customers of Dr. Pinholster forover30 years. They have the most professional staff, some of which have worked for him for over 30 years. When Desert peaks dental bought Dr. Pinholster‘s business, they cut those long time employees salaries, which is shameful. If they do not reinstate their employees salaries, we will find a different dentist. The new owners are a large corporation
