Lol Customer support said there was no phone number, email id entered in my reservation and insurance added on it without notifying.I regret for booking the car at this location. The worst place to get a car from!! Please do not use this location the management is rude and customer care is non existent!

Went to this location seeking help for two bad tires on a rental we picked up at the Tampa Airport. She didnt want to help or call roadside so I let her know that was not helpful. She told me to leave. I then got upset and she started cursing and said to leave or Ill have the police arrest and trespass you. All this because the Avis 800 number couldnt help and sent me to this wonderful person.

Rented an SUV for an out of state trip. Vehicle had a broken taillight and bumper. I was not told about it or shown it. When I got home to pack the car I saw the damage and called the location. Was told its fine, not to worry, I wont be blamed and I wont get pulled over. I drive back to the location to see if they have another vehicle or documentation to show I wont be liable for this or any tickets in any way. Manager states that they rent out cars with expired plates and broken vehicles all the time and because of COVID-19 the cops arent paying attention to any of those things. She tells me to go to the airport location because thats where all the cars come from anyway. She doesnt offer to help, provide a new vehicle, or offer any level of customer service. AVOID THIS PLACE.

BEWARE!!! Shady Business, rent from someone else.Overcharged me by $500 and never discussed why. Stated it was Priceline’s fault, when in turn it was Avis’s fault. Counter Rep. was rude and unprofessional, and not willing to go over the charges.

The employees were very nice and efficient. It took less than 5 minutes to register, pay, and get the keys !! Will recommend and use the next time I need a rental.

I have been renting cars in weekly and monthly periods for much of the last seven years. I have dealt with many different agencies and many different employees, and have never felt compelled to write a review until now.After receiving little to no help at three other closer Avis/Budget agencies, I drove out of the my way to visit the Largo location. It turned out to be well worth the extra drive. Instead of agents quickly telling me what I could not do, the Largo agents worked creatively to find solutions for me. I was treated like an actual person with honesty and respect, rather than a number. I left the location in a far better outcome than I could have planned. Thank you to the wonderful new ownership and staff at the Largo location for taking such excellent care of me. I highly recommend renting from this location!

We rented a 12 passenger can and was happily surprised with it! Adam, at the desk was amazing!! He was so nice and friendly. He Made sure I knew how to drive the van and put gas in it. He showed us where to park our cards overnight. It was really a great experience for all of us to ride in our memory maker. It was so easy to drive and park. Cold AC. Ran perfect. Were renting another one this weekend! Thanks Adam!!!

I showed up for my full size reservation and had a bad feeling when there were no cars in the lot. The clerk told me there were no cars available and no cars on the way. My only option for a price-match to my reservation was a 1-hour drive in rush hour to Tampa Airport. The territory manager would not return my call or even his employees requests for help. All the other locations in the area are individually owned, so everyone wanted more money as it was a last-second reservation. I ended up getting a car at the next closest location and this moved the price from $110 to $260 because I could not do the 2-hour round trip to get the car. Obviously I will be filing a complaint with corporate Avis and a credit card dispute. Pay the extra couple bucks and avoid this location.

I was thrilled with the service I received from Chris at the Budget Rental on Ulmerton in Largo. I had reserved a subcompact to rent for the week. Upon arrival I expressed my admiration for the convertible mustang on the lot. I was immediately informed that the car had been sitting for the last 2 weeks due to bad weather and was still available. I admitted that my choice of car had been made due to a restrictive budget. Chris smiled and said What if I give you a deal?. Well the deal was ridiculously inexpensive and I had the time of my life driving up and down the coast of Florida with the top down. This was an unnecessary courtesy that had a huge impact on my vacation experience. The whole experience was fantastic! Easy pick up, easy drop off, fantastic car and a friendly face who went out of her way to make me happy.

I rented a luxury car for my important Business trip. I arrived and was placed in a clean interior Volvo, but the exterior was trashed! dried dead Love bugs (lots) all over the front and the windshield and car (see pictures posted). Jenny at this Avis location said that while they can clean the interior they do work alone at this location and they do not wash the exteriors. I was out of options since this was and is the only higher class car they had, which the airport location dropped off to them that way for my reservation that was made 2 months in advance. IF i rent from Avis it will NEVER be at this location... I wish I could post better pictures of the very dirty car I was rented. I have never rented a car, nor are any of my personal cars this dirty. Hopefully Corporate calls with a survey!...11/8/16... update... no call from corporate and no customer survey. If I were the Manager of this location i would do a better job at managing the online presence and contact a previously unsatisfied customer to determine what they could do. I am a customer that would update the posting with good remarks or at least a record that they attempted.

No Avis sign from the road, it is a budget truck rental sign/building with few rentals for cars. Seemed like they had 1 of each class of car which was suitable. Staff was very friendly and helpful, used as many coupons as possible and was pretty accommodating.I would suggest for options to rent from the airport you will have more choices and potentially better deals.

I rent a car each and every month and I have not found a more professional group of employees than I have at this specific Avis location. I know when I make my reservation that the car that I am reserving will be there when I get there full of fuel in clean and ready to go. You can search around the web and maybe find a little cheaper vehicle but they are definitely comparable to all of the rental agencies but to me I would personally pay a little more to get the professional and personal service you get from this specific Avis location. All I can say is give them a chance and youll see what I mean about the professional rental experience you get at this specific Avis location.

Very much would avoid this location. Showed up to pick up our elite SUV on last Thursday and come to find out even if you reserve a vehicle from Avis or Budget rentals it is there policy to rent out any car to walk in customers first no mater if you reserved and paid in full 1 week prior. So after finding out they don’t have the vehicle I paid for they gave me a nicer vehicle so I said well I can’t be that upset at them so I went and got in the bigger SUV they had available and OMG. There is puke in the car on almost ever seat. I now have no time left for this car rental craziness. So I drive home and spend the next 3 hrs detailing this vehicle so we can drive to Michigan for the wedding We get back in town and time to drop off the vehicle. Tuesday morning. We decide to skip breakfast knowing how the pick up was at this fine establishment we plan for some extra time. My wife is almost ran over by a female that is supposed to be the manager as she blows out the door hitting her on the way by. So 1 person to turn in cars and three people on their phone in the parking lot. After 15 minutes I walk in to tell my wife we are going to be late now so drop the keys in the drop box. The manager then yells over the one customer she is with. You can’t just drop those keys. That’s for trucks. We have to see if there is fuel in it. Now. I have cleaned your vehicle spent a combined 1 hr picking up and trying to drop off this nasty car. It’s FULL of fuel and I have paid you. Now we are leaving. She said. Well WE WILL BILL YOU. No problem she yells. NICE JOB AVIS BUDGET. FAIL!

Unpolite and arrogant. If you want to extend one more day your day will change for double of rate they gave you. Be careful also to leave car clean cause you might be charged 250$. We run to vacuum car before we return, which is insane to do on vacation (cause it’s impossible to drive car without leaving sand).

We made a reservation 2 days ago and we went just this morning at 8am to pick up the SUV, after waiting in line for about 40 mins the person in charge said our rental car is not yet in the lot and we’ll have to wait for about 1.5 hrs without any assurance that a rental car will be available. We have to be somewhere by 10:30 am and there’s no way we’ll make it on time if we wait. And then, we were instructed to call their customer service to cancel the reservation which is an added inconvenience.We wasted our time for nothing.We would not recommend going here. It’s really a waste of your precious time.

Had to get a rental for nearly two weeks while my vehicle was worked on. Got a good deal through Hotwire on a Standard through Avis. Car was in great condition. Noticed after I turned it in I was charged for XM Radio, which I never asked for. One phone call and Corey said no problem and refunded it. Great experience all around, will definitely be back!

Hard to locate, no obvious signs that there is a car rental there. Only a handful of vehicles which look rundown and dirty. Struggled with the baby car seat for 30 minutes. Windshield had a bad sunscreen job which is distorted right in the drivers field is vision. Not very happy.

Car was dirty at pick up and I didnt realize until I really needed it that there was no washer fluid. Service was bare minimum with no smile and only spoke when neccessary. Lot is gravel so the black car looked terrible. The price was however a little lower than other locations.
