Our group of 16 (13 adults, 2 teens, 1 infant) had the pleasure of staying at Aspen Creek Cabins a few weeks ago. We booked all 3 units and had plenty of space for everyone. Each until is appropriately stocked with kitchen/bath necessities. Paula (owner) is very responsive by text to any and all questions/concerns and although we did not need much, we found her pleasant to work with. From booking to check in to check out everything was perfect. The cabin(s) is located within walking distance to Albany Lodge in Albany Wyoming. At the lodge you have access to fuel, ATV riding permits, fishing licenses, Ice, food, beverage, etc. Bring your ATVs or rent rigs at the Polaris rental shop on Albany Lodge Property. There is truck and trailer parking very near by for a cost of $5/day. We used one vehicle and our ATVs to shuttle luggage/coolers from the lot to the cabin which worked very well since parking is limited at the cabin(s). We visited in late August when the afternoon sun warms up temps ...There is no AC in the units however the evenings get cool and Paula had several fans in each unit for our use. Thank you Paula for a wonderful summer vacation in the mountains!

Came from Wisconsin for late season snowmobiling and stayed at the Aspen Creek. Since we were the only ones staying in town for the weekend, Paula (the owner) was nice enough to upgrade us to a better unit at no cost. Our stay was great and we were even greeted the day we left by a moose in the driveway.

Highly Recommend!We are cooks and the kitchen had all the tools and pots/pans we needed, along with a propane grill. It was nice to come home after skiing and snowmobiling and sit in the jacuzzi tub. We loved the fireplace and games. I recommend purchasing the Wifi because our phone service didnt cut it in this remote area. We stayed at Moose Lodge and liked all the woodwork and the beds were comfortable. The view was beautiful!!

Very pretty area. I stayed in a cabin called The Eagles Nest, which of course was up a flight of stairs and there was no smoking in the cabin. It rained the whole time I was there.

We recently rented the Moose Lodge for a snowmobile trip over Super Bowl weekend. The stay was great. We were able to ride in and out from the front door, and Paula made sure we were even able to watch the game on Sunday night. Paula was very responsive to any questions we had and helped with everything we needed. We are planning on doing the same trip again next year and will be staying here again.

Very nice cabins in a beautiful secluded setting. Clean and quaint with easy access to Albany Lodge, and the Snowy Range mountain roads and trails.

Had a great time at the house. Literally at the foot of the mountains. Very close to the lodge for great food. Cabin is comfortable with a great rustic mountain feel. We will be back!

We had a great time at Aspen Creek. It was the perfect location for all the fishing spots we wanted to hit on Medicine Bow and the proximity to Albany Lodge was ideal for ATV rentals.Eagles Nest was the property we rented with room for 4, it included everything we needed (including a full kitchen). There are only three rentals on the property - smaller is definitely better. The owners were available quickly for all questions leading up to the stay and we were excited to arrive!Definitely would recommend Aspen Creek, and stay there again.

I hate to give bad reviews as I am a host of a vacation rental but I feel it is necessary to be honest on this review. It was a beautiful clean cabin and the location was perfect! The host however was not pleasant to us. When I called to book the cabin I was told there was a 3 night minimum but she kindly waived it for us and accepted that as we needed a 2 night only stay, after I had asked if it was okay for-sure and she said yes that’s fine so we booked it. We had paid the $15 a day for the internet and the internet didn’t work the whole time until the last day as we were leaving. I texted her about the issues and offered to reset the router if need be or try and work through it. She then proceeded to blame my phone and the other cabins weren’t having issues, we asked the neighbors next door and they said they had troubles too (everyone in my group had issues and our computers didn’t work either so it wasn’t the phones) as we were trying to work through it and I had asked for a refund of the $30 we paid for to use the internet that didn’t work. I then got a text from the host explaining how I was unhappy about our stay and she could have had a 7 night stay if we didn’t book it and we could leave a day early since we were so unhappy. (Her decision to let us stay as I had asked it was okay to do so) We weren’t unhappy just wanted to be able to use a service we had paid for I thought that was reasonable. Again just wanted to help fix the issue and work through it but she was very rude and didn’t seem to want to help or advise. Kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, all silverware and plates. Plates had dead moths on them and dust we had to clean off before using them. The pillows and sheets for the pull out beds were dirty with crusty spots on them. I hate complaining and being that person, but with how we were treated by the host and the cleanliness of the kitchen items and bedding this review was necessary.

We stayed in Eagle’s Nest and the cabin was so adorable and the perfect size for my husband and I and our baby. There were nice little touches like some card decks and board games. Plenty of towels and enough kitchenware to get the job done. I would have liked to see a manual for the house as there were some quirks to it and we had to text the host often to ask questions. We needed to run the water for 4+ minutes to get to the hot water, and the heating was a bit tricky to figure out, but these are all things that are normal with cabins in remote areas like this. The host did respond to our texts when we had questions. Plumbing was a bit wonky, but overall the perks and location were worth dealing with the downsides!P.s. the host also texted me to argue about this review.

We stayed in the Eagles Nest cabin last weekend. This group of cabins is fantastic. It’s off the beating path so it’s nice and quiet at night. The outside has a very cabin feel, the inside was very clean. Everything was in excellent working condition. Paula was readily available to answer the couple questions we had. Will be coming back for sure this year. Thank you Paula

What a amazing place. Definitely the spot to be right now.

With the exception of some spotty Wi-Fi, which was impacted by a storm prior to our arrival, (I know, you’re on vacation in the mountains why do you need Wi-Fi? I still needed to be connected to work unfortunately) everything else was fantastic. Very quiet at night. The location was easily accessible to Rob Roy and Lake Owens, as well as “the other side of the mountain” such as Saratoga Hot Springs and the higher Mountain Lakes.The kitchen and bathrooms were extremely well equipped compared to other places weBe stayed. Plenty of pots and pans and bowls and silverware and utensils etc.Paula and her staff were extremely responsive to any and all of our needs, although there weren’t many. That’s how well-kept the place is.The close proximity to the Albany Lodge restaurant and general store for lack of a better term, was also nice for a snack, to get fishing licenses, etc.Overall, we found it a very comfortable, great place to stay. Check it out if you get a chance!

Red light is burnt out and no ketchup !

We rented all three guest houses for friends and family for our sons wedding. The place was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with items to cook for our gang. The place was a little tricky to find, just beyond the Albany Lodge. The Moose portion has a loft with mattresses to sleep 11 and had large deck for extended living space. Highly recommend the place. A little pricey, but nice to have everyone together.

Very nice place. We rented the Bears Den and the place was very clean and had plenty of room. It only has 1 bathroom, but we were able to make due with 5 guys. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star, is the cell service inside sucks and they wanted to charge an extra $10 per day for Internet. In my opinion, Internet should have been included due to the lack of cell signal. If you have to, increase the daily rate by the $10.

We stayed at the Moose Lodge. The cabin was nice but the appliances were less than desirable. The TV had a large horizontal pixel crack through the bottom 1/3 of the screen and the DVD player didnt work. The dishwasher didnt do a very good job so a lot of the dishes had to be washed by hand after being in the washer. The oven didnt keep an accurate temperature so things took much longer to bake than what was expected. The front left gas burner of the stove kept going out while turned on (regardless of the temperature at which it was set) which was dangerous. The ice maker was broken as well as the ice and the water/ice dispenser. With the price that we paid, the appliances should be working properly.
