Some of the workers are great, but I can name at least one lady who was so rude and impatient, and repeated everything I said like my questions were stupid. She was so terrible that I rated this place 3 stars. Otherwise, the place is decent and quick.

Dont expect them to answer the phone.... or delivery a package correctly

Recently moved to a location near this office. We put in a request for our mail keys and were told to wait 3-5 days for a call. A week and a half later, no call so we went in to get an update. Turns out they lost our request and we have to wait another 3-5 (probably more) days to get our own mail. Absurd.

I understand during a pandemic that service can be difficult but every experience I’ve had at the post office I’ve witnessed the staff be disrespectful, condescending, and degrading to customers. Last time I witnessed one of the ladies say with zero consideration three times “you need to speak up, I can’t even hear you” in the rudest tone and it progressively got worse each time and she continued to interrupt him when he wanted to open up a PO Box and she threw the application at him and told him to come back another day. After that she was telling her coworkers “Can you believe this guy wanted a PO Box fifteen minutes before closing? Yeah not today” and she had zero consideration or respect. She didn’t seem to care that anyone else could hear her say this. I won’t even begin explain how belittling my personal experience was. I also won’t begin to explain the complications and wrong mail we get from our post man.

They never answer the phone and there is usually a line and I go days without seeing any mail which is not the norm. Also I get my neighbors mail a lot and I wonder how much of my mail was put in the wrong box. However when I go to the post office the people are usually pretty nice and I get what I need.

I go here every day to drop off packages and occasionally need to use the customer service windows. Always an easy transaction

USPS provides the worst postal service in the world. They claim that your packages are insured but Lord help you if you need to claim! Seriously not worth your time to use these people go somewhere else

Delivery is the worst I’ve ever seen. We have parcel boxes at our neighborhood Mail box stand. The delivery man consistently gives us the wrong keys for the parcel boxes making it impossible for us to get any urgent or important. Very annoying

We’ve lived here for over 5 years now. We’ve moved several times. It doesn’t matter where you are, you cannot count on this post office. Mailman just shoves huge boxes into the little mail holders making it nearly impossible to get out. I’ve had to cut a box open. Never on time. Lost and missing packages. Delivered to the wrong address several times. Pay attention, for Pete sake, and show you have respect for yourself and your job!

One staff member is very nice. Shes the younger one and if you can get her awesome. The older ones are crass and rude and one had the audacity to say to my wife speak up, I swear you kids dont know how to speak up. When my wife was just getting stamps and wearing a mask. Seriously? Everyone is trying to adapt to these masks and its hard to understand you too behind that plexiglass so theres no need to be so rude to customers.

They misplaced our pkg. And then when they found it, a woman named Lisa called and told me they found it (which was nice), but it was 5 minutes of closing time and told me I could get it the next day. I suggested they should have to bring it to me and she said no they already tried. I said no, they only come to the mail boxes at highway never to our house. (Never enough pkg delivery boxes, for amt of residents who get their mail there). She hung up on me. Very unpleasant, unprofessional and rude.

Poor customer service, Bonnie at the counter is always rude. And it seems like no ones knows how to do there job or communicate. I was told to pick up my mail by 5 on the phone this morning and when I got to the post office Bonnie was very rude and my mail was not there. And I have had issues in the past with my mail being held.

This particular facility is not on top of their game. In fact, I have had multiple encounters where my mail is withheld for no reason, simply because some of the carriers are lazy. When I go to ask them about this in person I am treated disrespectfully and like the issue is my fault. I have lots of experience with other post offices in rural Wyoming, all of which have been much kinder to their customers overall. I would recommend taking your parcels to UPS or Fedex, let this facility shrivel up.

Probably the worst Post Office I have been too, they can never seem to deliver packages to me and I consistently get pink slipped. I try and request redelivery and they can’t seem to do that either. Worst service in town hands down. Use FedEx or UPS as much as you can.

They’re good until you need important mail delivered and they lose it. Never have issues until I’m looking for important mail, it makes no sense to me.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Absolute worthless employees, lazy and untrained. I have had 3 packages lost in the past 4 months. And I only order things online a couple times a month. I have never been so frustrated. You cant contact anyone worth a damn, and nobody seems to be able to help. Corporate needs to train these people, or hire people that can actually read addresses. It is hilarious that I am actually suprised when I track my package online, says it is delivered, and it is ACTUALLY outside my house. Because more often than not, it was lost in delivery.. Whatever idiot delivers to Person Street NEEDS to be fired.

This government agency need to be privatize! Chance of address problems they cant get anything right. I live with 80 year old dad and he goes south for the winter but SO DOES MY Mail ! We are two different individuals and that is exactly what he marked on the forwarding application. Forwarding my mail is not right just because we have the same last name. Phone system or computer systems dont let me correct this. I have to make a special trip to my post office and working Monday through Saturday makes it hard to do this and cost me money.

Horrible costumer care, rude and so unprofessional, maybe they need to retired and get the hell out of there and let other people do the job, they need to be reported to the higher up and head quarter office, this is not acceptable at all and not fair for the people, they should also pay for anything miss place or lost if we had pay for it, make them responsible for once ! Put a claim to the consumer reviews!

I have always had really positive experiences at this post office. There’s rarely a wait, staff is friendly, and they get the job done. When we have had problems with held mail, they have been responsive and helpful.

The Laramie post office has a dependable, friendly and efficient staff. It makes me glad for this town.

You know whats a sad consistent issue is when I check tracking info and it says it out for delivery and then takes two extra days for delivery. Lets be real, why pay for expedited shipping and then get it delayed. Today is a great example I paid triple the shipping cost to get my package today and well nothing came. Guess I will have to wait until Monday. WHATS THE F****** POINT!!!!!!

Good luck getting them to pick up the phone, or even deliver a package on time.EDIT:Now Ive gone in twice to check on the package, and one lady said it arrived, with the wrong address. Fixed that, and they said they would call me when they got it. They didnt, and sent it out. At which point, I waited until they ALMOST closed, and went to check, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they might deliver it on time. They said, and I QUOTE, It said it got delivered yesterday, and that it shipped out today, so were right on schedule. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! So then I get a call later that day (apparently they still had my phone number) to tell me that it was on its way. This was now 5 minutes before they closed. Who knows when Ill see that package, probably after the weekend.TL;DR - If you live in Laramie, avoid the USPS like the black plague, and use UPS of FedEx instead.

The mail carrier never picks up my mail!!! I put bright post its up saying please take me! I have clipped the mail the outside of the box with bright clips! I don’t know what else I can do to make it any easier! It’s funny the mail carrier puts mail in the box but doesn’t take the mail with him on the way out! I have filed complaints and watched him/her blatantly skip my mailbox!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!

The Laramie Post Office is terrible!! I have had several packages with tracking numbers get misplaced - the tracking info shows notice left, but I had been waiting at home for them, and there has been NO attempted delivery and NO notice left!!! Even the package with signature requested has not been delivered to my door for a signature!!!! Im extremely upset at the mishandling of my mail. They charge an arm and a leg for postage, and cant do their job properly. I have been in to the post office several times, trying to get this sorted out, and the manager (who was in his office, according to the clerk) refused to come out and talk to me. Its very disappointing to see this lack of care and service, especially in an otherwise friendly and hardworking community like Laramie.EDIT:I was finally able to get the box maintenance/key man out to look at our mail box and see if mail was misplaced - nope no misplaced mail. He took the time to call our mail carrier up on the phone (right there on the street!!) and ask him where our mail was. The carrier informed him that there was still a HOLD on our mail!!! Keep in mind that I have been to the Post Office no less than 5 times, asking for mail, and each time was told that delivery had been resumed, and they had no mail for us!!!! So, blessed be the maintenance man, who got things straightened out, and told our carrier to ship all mail up to the office to be picked up, and resume delivery for our address. Bless him. Because the folks at the post office cant seem to get their ducks in a row.THANK YOU, Maintenance Man !!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are the nicest and most helpful people I have ever experienced. Super friendly and helpful. If you have been in the post office, they are usually very busy working, so leave a message and they do get back to you, or you can e-mail them and the question is usually answered within 24 hours. I have never had a problem in the 20 + years I have lived in Laramie.

This is the worst United States post office that I have ever had to deal with. When I first moved to Laramie, there was another family that lived by us with the same last name. They constantly put our mail into their mailbox and refused to do anything about it even when I filed a complaint. I had to do a fake change of address for each of my individual family members to finally get the mail delivered to our house. It was better, but they still mixed up our mail occasionally. Recently, I have had a problem with packages delivered by Priority Mail. The carrier claims to have knocked on the door and left a note, but NEVER does. We look online at the times inputted and we are always home at the time. I dont even think he or she bothers to even attempt to deliver the package. They just leave it at the post office so that I have to go pick it up. They are the laziest mail carriers I have ever had to deal with. I lived in the Seattle area for 20 years before this and I never ever had a problem with the U.S. post office. If the government wants to lay off mail carriers, start here and leave the bigger cities alone.

Never able to get a hold of any one been trying for 5 days now to see where one of my medication is at, since i received 3 out of 4 that was sent at the same time and same day together. my W-2 was sent back to sender for having the correct address, and did not receive my W-2 until the April 20th at my new address, the original address under the forwarding and return to sender stickers was correct.

The carriers are so slow - our mail often doesnt get delivered until well into the evening, and magazines often comes a day or two later than they should. Theyve sent packages back to the sender because of an incorrect address even though nothing has changed since the last time we ordered from that sender. And they never answer the phone!

Ive been there twice and had great service. Once was to mail a package and the other tone to get a new mail key. The person knew exactly what to do and was polite

Awful! I had an address fixed the day it didn’t deliver and they still sent it back. Had to fight with the postmaster to not charge me again and finally got a letter so I could get my packages sent back, these packages were 2 months overdue by the time I got them. I had another package with the right address given to another person and today another package stated address wasn’t correct knowing that it was. The lady was very rude when I went in and blamed the company and never them. I told her that is wrong that this was the third time I’ve had a problem. Hopefully I will get the package tomorrow but I doubt it because they did that wrong to the first time around. They need to get it together. Laramie is small no need for this to happen, apparently they have the same problems and they need to fix it.

The staff are very rude, and very incompetent. They are always delivering things late, misdelivering things, and losing things. Once I went in to submit a complaint about a damaged package and the brown-haired older woman with the coldsore basically called me a liar and talked to me like I was an idiot. She refused to fill out my complaint and claimed it was the post office in Fort Collins that damaged my package until the decent employee next to her pointed out that I could fill out the claim regardless of where it was damaged. I know for a fact it was damaged by them. The package was listed as being left in the postbox on the tracking info even though they left it at my door, with a whole corner mangled from where they had tried to force it in the box.They never answer the phone here either. You get the most annoying automated answering service known to man.

The people at the office are great but their couriers are horrible. I havent gotten mail for weeks, my packages have been sent back after no attempts to deliver and packages with perishable items have either been thrown in snow banks when I have a porch or requested a signature when no signature was needed and left over the weekends to rot at the office after priority was late.

Nice people, but wouldnt even let me ship vape juice after I told them there was no nicotine and then they made me open the sealed envelope to check ( the one that I had just purchased).

Every time I receive a package in the mail, the packaging is torn, the box is smashed, and the item is damaged. Excepted an expensive present today, all the pieces are broken...so much for handling my first class priority mail with care.

Worst post office I have ever dealt with. I have had a package in laramie for the past 4 days that was scheduled for delivery... 4 days ago. I have gone in to talk to them in person twice and called the other facility where it was being held. Yesterday it was on the truck again to be delivered to me and I STILL havent received it. When I went in the second time to talk to them yesterday the same person I talked to the first time stopped helping people when I was next in line and went to put boxes (that were meant to be sent out) in the back and you can see back there from the front. He was THROWING the mail, not just envelopes... Actual boxes around and into bins.. Not close ones probably a good 7 feet away from him. From now on I will be using other means of mailing as much as I can.

I have had great customer service every time I have gone into their office but they lose a star because they provide a public phone number but they never answer their phone.

My dad worked for the Post Office yrs ago and it wasnt ran the way it is now. The carriers r some of the rudest ppl I have ever met in my life!!!! And nobody knows how to answer a phone.

It seems that my neighborhood never gets our mail on time. I sent out a letter to someon in the United Kingdom this past Friday and they have already received it; whereas, I’m still waiting for something that was sent out in Cheyenne and that was also sent out on Friday. The postal service has become very unreliable recently and I don’t know why.

In my 10 years living here, Ive had a few instances of misplaced mail, but the staff are always friendly and my issue has been resolved by the end of the day each time, without fail.

The Postmaster is a difficult person who goes out of his way to be unhelpful. I feel sorry for the employees there.
