I was recommended this company by the doorman in our building when our AC stopped working on a Sunday in the middle of Summer. The serviceman that arrived was prompt, professional and extremely helpful.Long story short, we needed a whole new system, which wasn’t as easy as it sounds due to supply issues etc. I was told that I would be called first thing Monday morning, and they were true to their word. Unit was located, ordered and installation set up that same day. The office staff I spoke to could not have been nicer or more efficient.The technicians arrived on time and installed the new unit, and left our apartment spotless. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They gained a new customer for life with their exceptional service.

A/C out, called them. Rapid response. Talked with the tech, he said the blower motor needed replacement and gave me a quote. Cost was pretty much what I figured it would be. Then received a call about a half hour later, saying that an adapter would be needed for the replacement motor. Jacked up the price considerably. Set off warning bells (had companies do this before, and it didnt end well) and I declined to have the work done. The reviews here are overwhelmingly good though.

Juan from McGill Air Conditioning came to the house around 7 pm to help us get the A/C back to working order. This young man got high marks for being polite, honest, courteous and efficient. We have used McGill AC for many years. They have always been very responsive when called. Last year we replaced 2 AC units. They sent 4 guys with 4 trucks and replaced both units in one day! They were efficient and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up and left the place as clean as it was before they came. We have them check and clean out our ducts twice a year. This year they discovered one unit had been leaking and was freezing up. They needed to order a new part and replace that part. The warranty had expired a few days before this AC 6 month checkup visit. Even though the warranty had technically expired McGill decided to provide the installation service as a courtesy to honor our long term business relationship with them. This is what a good company does for its customers! We will certainly recommend them to our neighbors!

I have been using Robert McGill Air Conditioning for about 10 years, the office staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have been on the maintenance plan since they replaced my unit and the office staff contacts you to set up your appointment twice a year, this is great! The technicians are very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. The best product I purchased from them is the UV light which is attached to the A/C unit and filters out moldy odors.

On Monday, June 15, 2020, I was scheduled to receive the second of my quarterly service on my A/C. The technician, Eddie, arrived on time, went about his duties on the air handler and compressor. He took the time to explain the condition of the A/C. I was very pleased with the service.

Robert McGill installed 4 brand new air conditioners in my home. They were very attentive to the details and provided us with the proper engineering (Heat load Calculations). This was a redo of our existing ac units and they were able to reduce our overall electric bill by close to $250 per month. They didnt try to over sell us and provided a very simple to use and maintain system. They continue to service our ac systems and at any time we have an issue they are quick to respond onsite. Unprofessional and service tecks dont what they are doing. One service person came through our ceiling while servicing our ac. Two months later, even though we are on a service contract with them, the drain pipe was clogged, overflowed, and ruined our master bedroom walls and floor. They do not take responsibility for the havoc that they create.

Very pleased with the service. Jefferson was great. Efficient, pleasant and thorough.
