I am first time customer and Ryan, the tattoo artist is friendly and amazing guy! He would make sure you get to comfortable and explain through the process with tattoo. Even the atmosphere is super clean and calming vibes. During the process, he would talk to you about anything if you feel up to and the process would be done by fast. I have request him to do tattoo on this small extremely rare, unique design on my neck and turn out an amazing outcome. It’s his first time and all his efforts are worth it while not 100% perfect outline as image shows. I would recommend you guys to check this guy out!!!

Hi fellow tattoo fans. I met with Greg in 2019 and found his prices to be reasonable. He was highly regarded for black and white and he was very friendly. I felt extremely comfortable with him. I made a deposit for 1/3 the price of the quoted job. I called to reschedule my appointment and left a voice message.Then the pandemic hit.I followed up with Monica post- pandemic to find they were still open and doing business. I called and they we willing to honor my appointment. I still had the card and proof of deposit. I was told they were booking out 10 weeks.When I emailed monica to request a refund she changed her story and decided that she found it in her book where I didnt show so I forfeit my depositShe also decided that all deposits were non refundable - which is not what Gregg told me who I met and made the original appointment.Its convenient for Monica to decide that I missed an appointment, cant find where I asked to change the appointment, nor take into consideration that a pandemic hit.Go somewhere else. Go somewhere where you can say i change my mind ifYou didnt lose anything why are you keeping my money?I am sure Monica is making a lot of money of this scam where people didnt make their appointments BECAUSE THERE WAS A PANDEMIC.Go somewhere where the business cares about humans and not scamming and changing the rules.Greggs a great artist, his business partner is not helping his business.

I went in for a small tattoo, on which Greg did an amazing job! He drew the sketch right in front of me, and him and those in the shop are very hospitable and conversational. I would definitely go again.

Monica is awesome at what she does and has the best prices. She makes it possible for you to get rid of your tattoos that elsewhere would cost an arm and a leg. The very few low ratings are people that don’t listen to her and the process it takes for tattoo removal ! I have been in the process of removing 8 tattoos.They were super dark tattoos that I thought were impossible to remove. My tattoos are so light that you can’t even tell they were there. My neck has had 8 treatments and is gone. The others I have had 2-6 treatments on and they are almost gone! Upon request Monica can show you my amazing results for the skeptical people!

Incredible experience at Local Tattoo. It was first time getting a tattoo and Greg did a great job at helping me understand everything that was going to happen and was very knowledgeable. Best prices in the state! She is so kind and understanding! The tattoo is almost gone! It takes a few weeks for the tattoo to dissolve from the laser. Patience is a virtue when it comes to this procedure, highly recommended to everyone of all ages! She knows her stuff and has been removing tattoos for 9 years.

The whole vibe of the shop is friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend bringing family or significant others around for the experience. Water and coffee readily available which was a nice touch as well.Now to the actual art work. Greg was able to make my vision a reality, even when my idea was horribly explained. The end result was even better than I had imagined. He was willing to take the time out and do research on the subject matter of said art design which was something I had never seen another artist do. Had gotten tattoo there a few years back but was looking for a unique gift and new they had great vintage items (clothes, hats, purses, jewelry). Ended up finding something for myself and the owner is delightful to work with! You can tell she really likes what she does.

Laser hair removal- I have had laser hair removal done several times. Mo at local Tattoo and laser is wonderful and professional. She runs a state of the art laser machine. It is quick, painless and most importantly works! I highly recommend her.

Just left local tattoo after my first session with Jeremiah, I’ve been getting tattooed for many years by various artists around the area and this was my best experience yet. Jeremiah is great at what he’s doing and has a great future ahead of him! Very creative and won’t stop till youre as happy as you can be. I have worked with Jay on a few occasions. He has done two custom pieces for me and I absolutely love them. He was able to create something beautiful out of a couple of random thoughts in my non-artistic head. He truly captures your personality in his artwork. I have referred a few others to Jay and he has yet to disappoint. Finally, I dont know how they do it but the technique used at Local Tattoo and Laser is way less painful than I experienced elsewhere.

I have been going to 517 Local Tattoo for laser removal and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone seeking laser removal. Monica is absolutely fantastic and she does not give you any bullcrap about what to expect. She is very straightforward but conscientious during the procedure.

I am currently having two tattoos removed by Monica, one on my neck and another on my back. The tattoo on my neck was a green shamrock with a black outline and my back was a “tramp stamp” of bright flowers and leaves. My tattoos got noticeable lighter with each treatment and in many places are already gone. I have heard horror stories that the treatments are agonizingly painful and that walking out with huge blisters is “normal,” this should not happen and does not happen here. I leave feeling and the treated areas feel warm and within 24 hours I usually have small blisters. Within a week the area looks completely healed and over the next 3 weeks the tattoo continues to fade like magic.Besides being extremely reasonable in pricing, she is very knowledgeable and honest. Monica won’t promise you that a set number of treatments will remove your tattoo because every tattoo is different. The treatment room is super clean and everyone is the shop is extremely friendly.

I did laser tattoo removal and a cover up with Local Tattoo and could not be happier with the product and service. Monica was extremely knowledgeable and well-trained in the laser process and because of this I was able to avoid unnecessary discomfort commonly thought to accompany laser treatments. My tattoo faded and healed extremely well, and was almost invisible by the time I went in to get my cover up work done.I came up with an original concept for Greg to work with on my cover up, and I could tell he enjoyed working on the piece. He made sure to consult with me every step of the way to make sure we were on the same page about the design, size, colors, etc. As someone with very little experience under the needle, he also didnt pressure me to finish more of it during any session than I felt I could handle. My tattoo turned out perfectly and I could not be happier. I would recommend Local Tattoo to everyone.

I have been working with monica on a complete area removal and lightening another tattoo for cover up.She is very knowledgeable of the laser process but more impotantly very honest about the typical time frame and results to be expected with different colors and quality of artists work.You can expect a snap pop everytime the laser connects against ink. It feels like being snapped repeatadly with a small rubberband. Typically the area heals in around 6 to 8 weeks.Monicas pricing is also very reasonable especially if you have looked at other michigan area removals. She also charges by visit, so this ends up being much easier on the wallet.If your thinking about laser you should definitely check out monica for a consultation.

This place is awesome just got back feeling good and the artist is really light handed so dont worry about pain, everyone is nice and willing to work with you on price i highly recommend it
