I would like to commend all the Geek Squad employees on their tolerance for being verbally harassed by customers. When I went in today to have my phone screen fixed, I witnessed several older customers becoming very angry and frustrated with their simple wait times. All the Geek Squad agents kept their cool and explained everything to their customers to the best of their ability. The agent who helped me and who fixed my phone, Matt, was fantastic. I appreciated that he could admit to me when he needed to ask another agent for help or needed to look something up. Matt was able to explain to me what he needed to do in order to fix my phone and helped me understand everything He fixed my phone screen in a timely manner and stayed professional the whole time. I would definitely use Geek Squad again!
After waiting over 6 hours the Geek Squad never remotely came into my PC to help with the problem I called about. They had an outage. They do not issue partial credits for this major fail. They can charge you for the annual plan then not support you when needed. Also a waste of time to have auto menu talk you thru steps that need to be redone, once a Rep finally comes on the phone. Waste of time and waste of annual fee.
Insignificant wait at the start of the dinner hour. Fast friendly and quite helpful service as we had questions about some of the entrees. Roasted brussel sprouts appetizer was very nice. Completely awesome ribeye with excellent mashed potatoes as a side. My wife loved her sirloin with creamed spinach for her side dish. All in all, just a wonderful night out, this is why they are always high on our list Ill places to go.
Chris W. was very knowledgeable and helpful. He provided lots of explanation and patience with us. Definitely go here. It is worth the money. The value is great. ; )
Best Buy Geek squad would have paid google not to give an option of 0 rating.I got remote start installed for my Honda 14 on 11/25. They messed up car seat heater switch and claimed that it was an issue even before getting there. The geek squad guy made a note on the documentation provided to me but did not mention anything about it. I realized before leaving the place and when questioned he claimed it was there already. He suggested to file a claim if I want to . So, I went to the front desk and complained. She told that a supervisor will be calling me on Monday but no one called yet .After coming home that day, I realized car heater doesn’t turn on when I do a remote start. So, I went today to have it checked and my appointment is next Sunday . They claim they are busy . I don’t understand why they would need a lot of time to provide crappy horrible sucking service . Then again I went to the front desk and asked for a quicker appt as the issue is clearly with the set up. The rep told that they have just one guy this week and I will have to wait . I requested him to inform his supervisor about my concern and seemingly he sent a text.Strong advice . Don’t even think of going to this place for service . They are incompetent. May be we can learn and do a better job.Update : seems like they have sold me an incompatible device . Got to know after my second appointment. Meaning they tricked me by installing the same incompatible device first time. Suckers. They just want to escape from this.
I love my geek squad! they solve all of my problems tech-wise. I wouldnt know what to do without them!

Trying too get my phone fixed through geek squad. I call them to set up an appointment .the phone operator tells me to call 1-800-geeksquad or the store. Called the geek 4 times and got hung up on all 4 times after waiting on hold gfo 15 min race. Try one last time, on hold for 19 min with geek squad when someone answers oysi the same operator italkeI to the first time. She then tells me she can set the appointment up for me. Why she couldnt have dont this the first time instead of wasting my time for an hour. This poor customer service is why I stay away from Best buy. Everything is always a Hassel and expensive. I will post more after my appointment.
I just wont go any where else for peace of mind at competitive prices, friendly knowledgeable people, and timely service.
