I attended a regional gathering of Unity Ministers which was held at the Fledge because of a recent fire at Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing. We had the chance to meet and talk with Jerry who is the owner of The Fledge about the philosophy behind this amazing community resource. The energy of the space, the open-heartedness of the people there are a treasure. I have some takeaway ideas which include a focus on values not rules and a willingness to be beyond inclusive meaning to actively seek out and heal exclusion. Powerful afternoon. I will definitely go back to visit.

Amazing resource center for the community. The fledge has a free store with anything you could think of. If its not there they will provide you with another resource center who can help! 10/10 recommend visiting if you are in need this season.

One of the best places in Lansing. So much happening that you just have to check it out for yourself to see all the amenities. I will forever be grateful that I found The Fledge and the people that make up the community.

The fledge in Lansing is a one-of-a-kind gem. That focuses on helping those who are underserved in our community. From doing free childrens learning programs to food and clothes distribution in the neighborhood the fledge focuses on community development through inclusion and through listening to people and their needs to determine what can help them the most without judgment. The fledge pre-pandemic was an amazing music venue artist collaborative community as well as business accelerator and incubator during the pandemic they have shifted their focus to community Care which they were already focused on previously but have directed most of their attention to now, providing no questions asked food assistance and clothing assistance. The east side is a better place for having the fledge in it and provides a space for all members of the community to help each other grow with the support of each other. I cant imagine our neighborhood without the fledge and the vibrancy that it brings.

Welcoming place. You will find OPEN minded, versitle people, making their DREAMS come true.

Very unprofessional. We booked the show and had a time slot for 7:30p. When we got there we were told we cant use our drum kit and that since we requested to use our drum kit we had to go on at 10:15pWe drove an hour and a half from Detroit / Downriver.We were polite and waited. Then right before we were going on stage we were told we cant play Loud because of a city noise ordinance.We said some choice words and had every right. We had to compose ourselves from tearing the place apart.Not a professional venue. Well look elsewhere in Lansing and look forward to playing a real venue there soon one day.

The Fledge is an incredible place! There are new events all the time and its nice to just come hang out even if there isnt an event. I always feel welcome & Ive met tons of beautiful people here. Highly recommend checking it out

It was fantastic,great atmosphere!! I went with my 2 sons Johan and Aitor we all had a wonderful evening.Look forward to another event at the Fledge House very soon!

I came here for a comedy event and I wasnt sure what to think initially, but I left feeling really amazed at the place. I think this is a great resource for the community and Im glad its here. I wish we had more places like it.

Amazing place for all kinds of artistic endeavors. A welcoming place for everyone to express themselves through art. An interesting experiment.

The Fledge is an amazing venue for nearly every event type, and is also a great local incubator for small business.

The show was entertaining but the staff was not prepared, they sold more tickets than there were seats, and the bathrooms were dirty. With a little TLC and better planning this would have been fantastic.

When I stumbled upon this place I didnt know what to think, wasnt sure exactly what it was and thats what makes it so great. Its what YOU want it to be. In our ego centric world ab establishment that wants to hear you more than talk about itself is a needle in a haystack. I wish there would be more patronage and volunteer work tho, a community based 0lace like this cant just run itself

The Fledge is a unique place with many different events. The building itself makes the Fledge worth visiting, and the sense of community is amazing!

The best local entrepreneurship incubator. The owner is awesome and supports all things tech and is very socially and economically progressive.

Good venue, byob for some events....plan ahead! Seating is mostly composed of church pews, so expect to sit on uncomfortable hardwood as penance for your sins.

What is not to love about a business incubator, accelerator and ideation center that features local talent in information technology, art and music. Great place with a great vibe and some interesting and charasmatic people.
