Catherine does an excellent job preparing my returns and communicating with me every year. My taxes are done in a very timely manner and she explains any changes I may need to make for the upcoming year. She is exactly who I want preparing my taxes.

I believe it was a result of COVID however it was a very different experience this year. I sat in a cubical and Dominic who has been great for the past several years and made me feel engaged in the process took my papers to another cubical and did his work while I sat. This disconnect of face to face made it seem like I was there much longer while nothing was being done. Im sure it was just the perception but it was certainly less personal and more robotic.I do believe Dominic is a very good tax preparer and every other year was great and I feel he had my best interest in mind.

Delphine has always been extremely helpful. I have been scheduling appointments with her since my husbands death 14 years ago and my husband had previously met with her regarding our taxes prior to his death. The desk staff is welcoming, inquiring as to whom we were there to see, offering use of available coffee, helping with payment for services and calling in advance to schedule an appointment.

Normally I prepare my own tax returns. This year I had several questions (e.g. Section 199A) for which I needed assistance. My preparer, Catherine Harrell, was very helpful and pleasant in helping me. The cost of the preparatioin is fairly high (> $500); so I feel it will be more cost effective for me to prepare my own returns and take advantage of your consultation service if required.

The cost of my return went up 150% and I filed exactly the same as last year . Federal with a earned income credit, state, and local. I paid $110 last year and $263 this year. I will be giving you 20% of my federal tax return just to file my taxes really ?!?!?

My appointment got stacked with another client somehow. Naturally, I got sent to someone else who didn’t listen to anything I was telling them. My “expert” even appeared confused and uncomfortable when I told them why I needed help. I normally use TurboTax but this year was a ridiculous year for my taxes so I figured H&R could help me. They didn’t assist me with any questions I had and were extremely unhelpful. I might as well have submitted my taxes myself and saved $250.

Dont make mistake of filing taxes with H and R block professional. Huge mistake. Most unprofessional company and wont help get issues resolved with their own internal system.

Our tax accountant Amita Ambegaonkar is the best accountant wevew ever had (and with an S-Corp we have used many in the past). We also look forwa4d to our time with her each year (this year was our 3rd year where she did our taxes at H&R Block in Lansdale. Even though we moved away from the area, we still drive 45min each way because of her accounting expertise, and more importantly her lovely demeanor. We always have a schefsche appointment each year. Also every year weve had incredible tax refunds due to the many defuctions Amita finds. Lastly my daughter drew a picture for Amita 3 years ago, which is still in her office today.
