I bought a living-room suit from here in December 2020. The couch has broken twice since. I called them for over two weeks before they came to pick up the couch. Five days after they have had my couch I called to see if it was ready and they said it’s going to be two weeks before the part comes in to fix it! I don’t know which is worse the service or the quality of the furniture. I am now with an empty room in my home for the second time because I chose to purchase from this retailer. You would think that if a customer has had so much trouble with their merchandise that they would try to make things right with furniture that will hold up better.

The only reason they get a 2 is because the furniture I wanted was in stock. Needless to say the staff was inadguate and the only excuse was that they were new, and I do not think this was an accurate statement. The manager could not take the time to come up front and help them even after he was asked twice. The staff quoted me a monthly payment but could not tell me how long I would have to the payments. THANK GOODNESS FOR KIMBRELLS IN LANCASTER!!!!

Went in previously and no one greeted me or offered to assist me. Gave them a second try and Pamela was super. I planned to purchase a recliner. Very disappointed when she said there is $129 delivery fee for a 20-mile delivery. I told her I would try to find someone with a truck who could pick the recliner up. I went back to the store today and Pamela was busy with a couple. The man behind the desk never greeted me or offered to assist me. I sat for 10 minutes in a recliner. He looked my way but never acknowledged me. I was going to buy 2 recliners. It was a wasted trip! I plan to buy my furniture somewhere else. If you cant speak to someone, you dont want their business!

This is my fourth purchase from the Lancaster store. However it is my biggest. I went on a large shopping spree this time a did a total living room makeover. I am so pleased with the outcome. It made the 2 hour decision/ design process in the store sooooooo worthwhile. My living room finally feels comfortable and homey instead of like just a room with sitting utensils.

Sales personnel needs more room to work with customers on making sales. To much adherence to prices, I went ahead and made the purchase but feel like the price could have been negotiated more. If my wife hadn’t been there they would have lost the sale, I would have shopped around more.

Purchased a recliner 6 months ago. The bracket inside the recliner broke and caused the recliner to be in operable. I took the chair back to the store to be repaired. The store replaced my chair with a new one at no cost. Excellent service.

This is a wonderful location with great staff! However, I had been doing business with Badcock Home Furniture for three+ years with out ever missing a payment and getting something every year to be able to keep my account open. How did they show their appreciation? When I redid my account the last time they dropped my credit by five times the original amount. Badcock and More has trashed my credit. I highly recommend going elsewhere to purchase your furniture. It really is a shame to see corporate do this; as this once was a wonderful establishment to do business with (hence the second star).

Im not the type of person who is quick to take an issue to online/social media outlets, but other potential customers of a local business deserve to know what type of standards are being upheld. An elderly lady purchased a queen mattress and foundation from the Badcock store 472 in Lancaster, SC in September of 2015. The balance was paid in full and the items were delivered to her home and set up by their very own team. Not even 3 1/2 years later, her 10 year warrantied mattress is in such poor shape it can hardly be slept on. She made the store aware of the issue, so they sent another of their associates out to inspect the mattress for defects and determine what could be done to uphold the warranty, or at least attempt to resolve the issue. The visit was then proceeded by a phone call to her stating that nothing could possibly be done due to the fact that her warranty had been voided because of improper support provided by her bed suit. No further information can be attained from the store or corporate 800 number besides an original sales receipt and a statement that the warranty information must have been provided verbally. This was not a small purchase for someone on a fixed income and in my opinion, unacceptable for a product warrantied for 10 years to only last 3. This mattress has seen no abuse, it is not the first mattress and foundation that the bed suit has had on it, and those prior gave no issues. Youre free to form your own opinion of her experience with Badcock, but I will never make a purchase from this store, or any others for that matter.

If I could give less then one star I would. We were delivered a couch with a bent frame. I have spent the last 4 month trying to get them to bring us a new one and finally after filing a complaint with corporate the store manager returned my call. He had no clue of the problem because no one ever put it on file even though a month ago they came out and looked at it... They only came out after I called the store to tell them they no called no showed the day they said they were going to be here... Called again and wouldnt you know they didnt have anything on file... Again.. Told them a good day to bring the new couch and gave them a time I would be home and wouldnt you know they didnt call (like I was told they would) and showed up 1.5 hours early while I was still at work because no one told them not to come at that time. Lucky enough my wife was home sick and let them in. This store how zero communication.

Nice furniture, but no one to sell it!! Despite being the only customers in the store, the three salesmen stayed behind the counter at the back of the store. Looked like one was babysitting his two children. Really??

The manager/owner Cliff threatened me and said he would break with the help of a locksmith he also gave out out personal information to our co workers. The merchandise was nice and held up well, but we could not afford the payments. The store has all rights to take the furniture back, however their methods were unethical

Nice selection and decent prices but the bathroom was the worst Ive ever been in. It looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years and I would give an outhouse a 5 star rating compared to it!!!!!!!

Although you may purchase items on Sundays, you cant leave with them. Store pick up, no matter what the item, is not permitted. Maybe this should be advertised. Why open if you cant take your merchandise home with you? No longer doing any business with this store. Corporate was of no help either.

Dont stand by their garden products. Even if you receive a machine that malfunctions when you first get it home, the company will not repair or replace. The warranty is useless.
