I debated whether to give this review, but I don’t want other homeowners to make the mistake that we did of hiring Gallo. We had a terrible experience with Gallo and definitely do not recommend them to anyone. We hired Gallo in 2016 to renovate our master bath. The renovation included new vanities, new flooring and a new tiled shower with a tile floor. We had some initial issues with the quality of the work (the tile placement was uneven, the edges of the countertops were not even with the walls, and the finishing work was poor), but the bathroom was done within our time frame, so we were initially satisfied. Over the weeks and months that followed, the shower grout started to discolor. I reached out to Glen and Geoff on this issue and did not receive timely responses. Finally, Geoff responded and emailed me a list of steps they would take to fix the problem, including ripping out the shower floor and reinstalling it if the other “fixes” didn’t work. We were very patient with Glen and Geoff because we trusted them and assumed they would make things right (and assured us on numerous occasions that they would). Geoff came back once and essentially painted the grout white. After that “fix” made the issue worse, Geoff agreed to rip out the shower floor and reinstall the tiles and grout. The week before that work was scheduled to begin, Gallo contacted us and said that they are “washing their hands” of the issue and we have not heard from them since. Gallo strung us along for years with this issue. We made the mistake of trusting them and being patient. We will never make that mistake again. We now have a shower floor that looks terrible. PLEASE think twice before hiring Gallo to do any work in your home. They do not stand behind their work. We are in the process of reporting Gallo to the Office of the Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, so hopefully they won’t use deceptive business practices on other homeowners.

I have never had a more competent well versed contractor in my home. We had our main bathroom tub removed and a walk in shower added. They stuck to our budget, and there were no hidden costs, even when they found part of the floor was rotted around the edge of the old tub. We had tile put in and its beautiful. Jeff is the man. Bravo!!!

Did a great job. Definitly will use again. We all LOVE our new shower!!!

Horrible workmanship, I can provide pictures. Beware!! Plus halfway through the job, requested more money to finish the job they were contracted to do. Scammers!!!
