I would go to this shop any day there great on time and knock it out quick. The best shop in Lamar Co. Stay far away from the others these guys will treat you right and have you in and out fast as they can. Great shop and great employees
Great mechanics, reasonable prices, and just fantastic overall. This small town has been great for us in so many ways and we keep discovering more good merchants every time. Arkansas Valley Diesel is our most recent discovery.
I want to express my gratitude to the service manager Chris and his whole team for an excellent service done to my truck, from roadservice diagnostics to in shop repair, got me in and out in faster than any other shop would, they replaced my air brake system compressor, they ordered it overnight from cummins, and also gave me a ride to a hotel. Overall good experience thanks again to the mechanic that did the job, he went beyond with the air filter on the dryer because the tread was cross but he was able to make it work and get me back on the road. I definitely recommend Arkansas Valley Diesel.
Im impressed with the professional manner in which they take care of their customers. Trevor is friendly and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them to everyone.
Seller claims we are a competitor, we are not. He tries to hide behind a jumbled mess of fine print in his parts listings. We tried to contact the supplier for over 10 days after purchase before ever getting a response. We were very cordial until no responses to emails, and then receiving double talk about availability of items shown available. Last email from this supplier was in all caps. We don’t appreciate being ignored, lied to, and yelled at. Check the reviews here and on eBay. They confirm this information. 3 stars? Not very impressive.
Awesome people there. Service manager Chris Duffy was pretty helpful and explained me all the details of my problem and the procedures on the repair they do on my truck. Mr Trevor was so helpful too but we don’t talk much because he was so busy on his work. This place is a little pricey but good things doesn’t come cheap. Definitely will recommend this place for a professional repair on your truck.
Prompt, professional service. Dillon was very helpful!!
Quick and Friendly, prices are a bit high though, 246 for fuel filters to be replaced. But they performed it quickly and didnt play any games!
Great company to work with. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
Great customer service as always very highly recommended
I couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received from Chris and the whole team here. I got timely and vital emergency roadside assistance from these guys and have been back several times for regular service and repairs since, and I’ve walked away satisfied and feeling like a valued customer every time. I had taken my bus to several other shops in Colorado and out East and there is no comparison. These guys do what they say they’re going to do, on time and provide excellent workmanship and service at a fair price. What else is there to say? I will go out of my way to continue to work with Arkansas Valley Diesel Repair.
Ordered a part from their eBay store, listed with free shipping. Then they asked for money to pay the shipping, referring to a section on the full listing excluding almost everything from their free shipping policy. They didnt understand how eBay works, when a specific item is listed with free shipping, it is. Not very honest nor professional.Edit following your answer: I didnt try to take advantage. Why did you list the part as Free shipping if it is not?? I just cancelled my order when you asked for more money. Thats all. Have a nice day.
The part advertise was false advertisement. Theyre unable to retrieve the part.
Broke down in my Freightliner century in Lamar Colorado and a gentlemen told me about these guys. My radiator cracked and these guys had a factory oem radiator in stock. They replaced radiator and was in and out in no time. The prices were fair and they did a real good job. Would recommend. Thanks.
I received my order today. Very satisfied with the packaging of the product. Appreciate your cooperation with this order. Thanks
Waste of time! DONT BUY ON EBAY! Read reviews! Go to your local dealer and save at least 20%! Took ebay order and wanted more money to ship after I contacted them a week later, now almost a month later no item, no money.
These guys are awesome! Trevor went on his OWN TIME after hours to get my package to UPS for an overnight shipment. Truly went above and beyond. Ill only be ordering parts for my 11 truck fleet from these guys as a result. Keep up the great work, awesome service, and unbeatable prices!
We stopped in our motorhome to check for a possible air leak. They got us in right away and checked it out. They ended up not finding any problems but it gave us peace of mind so we could continue our holiday trip. Great customer service, thanks!
Cris did a fantastic job diagnosing my problem with the truck and fixing the problem in a timely manner. Trevors hospitality was great made me feel like part of the family. Thanks guys for the pleasant experience I will come back to you guys in the future if I ever have a problem in your area.
As a second generation customer, theres a reason I call Trevor and Chris here first. They maintain a large inventory and always go above and beyond to work me in for repairs to fit my schedule. They are always willing to make after hour runs to the parts department to keep me on the road. Its their above average dedication to service that keeps me coming back. Thanks guys.
Very poor customer service bought a part from them they sent me a wrong part and dont want to take it back.. Horrible Customer Service would not buy from them ever again...
Good prices. I wish the customer service was as good. I had a question about an ebay listing of theirs.left my name and number. 5hrs later still havent called me back.It might be a different story if you show up in person but dont waste your time trying to contact by phone
I was searching google for a Mopar power sliding window switch but found no one ad any left. I then discovered Arkansas Valley Diesel on Google had an item number for a Freightliner Truck that matched the part I wanted. Through their eBay sight I made an inquiry whether the part would fit my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. I described my switch and was advised that Daimler Chrysler currently owned Ford and the part would most likely work as the number and description were spot on. I made the purchase and advised that shipping would be up to 10 days as the part had to come from a vendor. To my surprise the item arrived 3 days after the order. My messages through eBay were answered quickly and professionally. I wish to thank Trevor for being so helpful. From here on out any parts I may need that indicate my be located at Arkansas Valley Diesel I will buy from them. This company went far and above most online companies. Works great in my truck. THANKS YOU Trevor.
I called everyone looking for a part and these guys found it Dillon found it and called back I’m waiting on my part but I’m sure it’s done deal will be calling again thanks.
Trevor doesnt return phone calls, very condescending when you speak to him. E-bay site stated they had parts in stock.. .that was a lie. I called and ask to return part(did not need), he advises me of the no return policy while stating its not like you are returning jeans (being condescending) I stated my mistake I did not see that on e-bay but he will do me a favor and charge me a $56.00 return fee( keep in mind a fast moving part, he sells them all the time, his statement to me). I expect to be charged something(no not $56.00 for him to rebox and ship to the next person) to return a part that he will turn and sell, but his condescending attitude is what the issue is. Not a good way to build relationships, terrible customer service skills! Long winded reply, but couldnt be farther from the truth. I was in the business for over 30 years. I know full well how to treat customers. And as you see I owned up to it. I was more incensed by your condescending attitude, which you failed to address! BTW there is no such thing as an industry standard 20% return fee, you must think people are stupid. Any return fee is at the discretion of the individual business! Thank you!
Great service very helpful each time Ive been out to the shop. Thank you guys, great job.
The guys out at ark valley diesel were all very customer friendly and customer oriented, they made renting a uhaul very quick and easy to do
Misrepresented Part on eBayI ordered a Cummins 3289314 serpentine belt for my Cumins engine from Arkansas Valley Diesel Service through an ad they posted on eBay. The photograph in the ad on eBay showed a manufacturers date of 27-Apr-2017 for the belt. The belt I received had a manufacturers date of 05-Sep-2007...the belt shipped was 11 years old and 3 years past the end of its shelf life (if stored under ideal conditions).According to the Rubber Manufactures Association bulletin RMA IP3-4: When belts are properly stored according to RMA IP3-4, no significant change in performance should be detected for up to 8 years. Proper storage, as described in this bulletin, means the belt should be protected from moisture, temperature extremes, direct sunlight, and high ozone levels. The belt should be stored in it original package, avoiding sharp bends or crimping that could damage the belt. Also, belts should not be bent or hung on anything with a diameter less than the smallest recommended pulley diameter for that cross section.Trevor at AVDS contacted me, refunded my payment, and told me to toss the old belt. He told me that the photo of the belt in the ad was of a belt at the time the fulfillment company he uses posted the ad on eBay, and there were a lot of challenges keeping his ads accurate and up to date.It boils down to truth in advertising for me. If the photo in the ad is for illustrative purposes only, say so. Dont mislead potential buyers by using photos that dont exactly represent the product youre selling. Also, AVDS may have an inventory management problem. Keeping old stock that is 3 years past the industry recommended shelf-life and then selling that stock is a poor business practice.
I would give less stars but cannot. I ordered a large item from them and was under the impression it was stocked. After asking them multiple times about shipment they gave me a tracking number. After a long period of time passed again and the tracking was showing no activity I reached out again and they said that the label fell off of it at FedEx. It mysteriously found its way top FedEx the day after that and was shipped the absolute slowest way possible. It took nearly a month to receive something that was promised in 7 days. They then proceeded to lie and say that they told me that it was special order. this was never stated as I have every email that was sent and received documenting this. i spoke with FedEx and they never had the package and the whole label issue was a lie by this company. Because of this delay we had to make repairs without the part and the part didnt end up fitting. i tried contacting them to return the part and they wanted almost 50% of the price to take it back as a restocking fee and return shipping. From the beginning I went with them based off of the time-frame that was given for delivery. This company is very dishonest and I would question doing business with them. I would have been fine with this all if they had communicated to me honestly, but their lies made it difficult.Very dishonest company with horrible customer service.Trevor La Cost (if that is even a real name) was the one that I dealt with that was so dishonest.I never threatened them per his response. This is a ridiculously dishonest company. I wasnt pushy as I didnt send any email requesting information until days after the order was placed. The eBay auction stated that it would be delivered on or before March 17th.Timeline:Mar. 8 (11:12 a.m.) order placedMar. 10 (9:06 p.m.) sent message requesting some sort of status on the order as I had not received anything from them and wanted to make sure that the order was placed correctly. I even asked if I was handling everything correctly.Mar. 11 (7:18 a.m.) Asked for an update or to cancel the order if it hasnt shipped.Mar. 11 (7:26 a.m.) received message back stating Hello there. This is shipping to you Monday. Thank you. That is the entire message. i was fine with this though.Mar. 13 (6:40 Pm) received tracking numberMar. 16 sent the message The tracking number is still not showing anything. When will this ship and be here?Mar. 17 (9:01 am) received the message stating Hello there. I did ship your muffler along with about 12 other packages on Monday. FedEx picks up here only when they deliver packages. I will contact FedEx today and find out where your muffler is and why tracking is not showing. What is your phone number? Thank you. Mar. 17 (10:13) I responded with the following My number is 828-xxx-xxxx, but I cannot talk on the phone. I can receive texts or email. My concern is I have a scheduled install date of Wednesday March 22, so I would need to receive it by March 21st. but received no calls or texts.Mar. 17 (4:14 pm) received a message stating I finally got an answer on your shipment. Our FedEX driver came in to pickup today and I asked him why I had no status update on your muffler. He called the terminal in Pueblo, CO and they had a package missing a label. We verified the package was the muffler and we gave them the information to print a new label and tape it to the package. I apologize profusely for all of this. It took too long and I’m very willing to make it right with you. What can I do to keep you as a satisfied customer?I called the FedEx location that they said they were working with and they had not received the package yet. I was frustrated, but not threatening as you can see by all of the conversation above. Finally Received part Mar. 24I left Negative feedback stating:Feedback stated:9 days before shipped. 16 days to receive.Lied about shipping. Worst seller everResponse:Explained to customer muffler was special order. Shipped same day received. :)
