The lady that helped us was really great! We arrived very late after getting lost a couple of times (go to Soda Lake Beach!!) and she helped us adjust our time so we could enjoy the lake for the full 2 hours. We got to paddle on a beautiful day and it was well worth it!!
Jade is our best friend. She is great at hockey, and an experienced lion wrangler. She made us toast and coffee, then sent us into the water well fed. Jade should be president. Peter was nice too. He gave me advice on stock trading, and made me a quick $20,000. Well worth the cost of a kayak. If you dont try this place, you will never forgive yourself. 9/11... Never forget 🇺🇲
I’ve rented quite a bit from Rocky Mountain for the last couple of years. The staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful and have been great during Covid. After a few times of renting this year, I quickly noticed how much I was spending on 2 hour rentals. $40 for 2 hours was a bit much, when I realized I could rent elsewhere for $54 for 24 hours AND I could go paddle wherever I wanted.I wish Rocky Mountain had more flexibility and had more options available. If they offered longer rentals, and rentals you could take elsewhere, I’d definitely support them more.Otherwise, they’re great for what they are. But if you want a better price rental, for longer periods of time, rent Elsewhere and bring it to the lake.
I rented a SUP for 1 hour today. I informed the sweet lady at the check in that I was planning to take my kids out with me. She gave me a wider, more stable board and a kids life jacket. Since I have done this before I didnt need any instruction. She did offer though and also adjusted my intake to my height. Off I went and we had a great time! My 7 year old even did some of her own paddling! We will definitely be back next summer! Thank you!
Rented a paddle board and 2 person kayak on Saturday 5/30 for couple hrs. We had a blast! Staff was super chill and was taking extra steps to make sure everyone felt safe during this covid stuff. When you pull into Bear Creek Park take the first right and follow road past 2-3 parking lots. Youll see RMP building on the right. Bring cash to tip the employees
Hours of service are incorrect. They close at 5p during the week. We arrived at 430 and we were willing to be out on the lake for just 30 minutes but they didn’t allow us to. The lady was not at all apologetic or empathetic. Don’t make the drive there are plenty more places with better customer service.
I decided to try something random and new and had a total blast! SUP Yoga was so fun. INCREDIBLY challenging, but a welcome challenge. RMP at Bear creek has lots of other recreation options though, regular paddle boarding, paddle boats and much more.
I had never done paddle boarding before but it was a blast. The employees were very friendly and overall a great experience
Reservations were really easy to make online and the line to get into the park was short. Once you get in to the park, head to the Marina to redeem your online reservation. The people working were very nice and helpful. They had plenty of equipment available.
The girls here are so rockstar! My dogs were all over the place trying to get them on the paddle board.. but they were so kind and patient. Everyone is so laid back and relaxed. Boards are fun and it’s so worth going out there and enjoying a couple hours on the board 💓👌🏻
Everything was great until we returned early. We asked if they ever did any kind of refund on early returns. She immediately became defensive and did not assist in pulling the boat in or helping hold it steady while we got out. We wouldve had no issue with being told they dont do refunds but she didnt have to be rude about it.
I made a reservation online and it was super easy. No line when I got there and I was in the water 5 minutes after checking in. Friendly staff and fun way to spend a sunny day.
Went on the last day of the season and got the best service. Awesome girls at the kayak tent-we enjoyed every moment!I would suggest checking groupon before paying full price - Compared to some of the other lakes you can visit for free if you have your own kayak/paddle boards etc..
My friend and I went paddleboarding yesterday (my first time) and it was so much fun! The only feedback I have, is I wish RMP had given more direction on how to get to their facility, the address takes you to the park, but we werent sure which parking lot to go to (and stopped at the wrong one - the one with the boat launch is the correct one). Thanks again RMP!
I have rented from RMPB up in Longmont and Cherry Creek. Great service! I do recommend reserving in advance in both locations especially at the weekend. Theres also fewer boards at CC so you have to wait for boarders to come back.
Good price and convenient location. Helpful staff.
Nice place out there
Great people!
