I’ve gotten my nails done here a handful of times and have always been happy with the service! If you find a picture of nail art that you like, they’ll do it for you and it always turns out so great! They’ve also been very safe with COVID-friendly rules in place. (Masks/distancing) Would recommend!

I use Stella and Shay for all my hair care and skin care and knew I would need to use them for my wedding. When I had to postpone my big wedding but still had a small ceremony they worked with me to make sure I would be taken care of both days! Jackie was wonderful as she helped me plan exactly what I needed for myself and the bridal party and Bridget was amazing with my hair. She also took each girls hair and preferences into account and created something for each of them that was perfect. Vanessa did my spray tan and my wedding make up and made sure both of my days would have a unique look that still felt like me. I cannot wait for my big wedding and I am so glad I will be with Stella and Shay again! Also having been a bridesmaid many times I was so worried about us being late,, and this team had us done early!!!

I absolutely love Stella and Shay! Their services are always phenomenal and anyone that’s done my hair or nails is always so friendly!! And the atmosphere is great!~However~ the reason I had to knock 2 stars is because this is the third time I’ve received a call the day of an appointment that they need to cancel:( happened twice with a nail appointment, which is not that big of a deal considering the amount of walk in places I was able to get in last minute. But because of my work hours it’s already difficult for me to snag those few appointments after 7pm on weekdays and even harder to get one on a weekend when I’m free:(This time I was notified 2hrs before my hair appointment that I scheduled MORE than a month ago for a wedding I have coming up. And took time off of work for it a month in advance as well. The woman on the phone who called to get me to reschedule rescheduled was naturally having a difficult time getting me in before the wedding I have in a couple weeks considering they book up FAST!Long story short, They were able to squeeze me in but I am now having to take more time off work, and they were only able to fit me in for a partial service compared to what I initially scheduled. Depending on how this next experience goes, it may unfortunately be my last time:(

I go to Stella & Shay regularly for manicures and have never been disappointed! Every person I have talked to on the team is amazing and so kind and personable. Kaycey does my nails and shes a phenomenal nail guru and makeup artist as well. Ive also seen Jill and Jeniece for nails and they do a great job! The salon is so cute and stylish and they have an awesome product selection. I will always recommend!

This place was great! Everyone was very pleasant, from the front desk, to my nail tech (Selena). Probably the nicest manicure I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back.

I love getting my nails done here. Ive been going there for about a year now and I have yet to be disappointed. They do everything from hair to nails all by appointment only. Everyone that I have had for my nail appointments is great at doing any designs that I ask for. Each taking their time, you are not rushed through.

First time here I had a great experience with my stylist! She was nice and friendly and I like my cut. I also thought it was well priced. Nothing extremely amazing, but it was my first time. I unfortunately did not think the receptionist was very friendly. When I go get my hair done its a treat and a special experience for me, and I would assume many people feel the same way. I love feeling pampered and I want to be in a positive environment! I read raving reviews of Stella and Shay so I think I maybe expected the customer service to be a bit more. So for now I will give 3 stars and I will go for another visit to see if this is the salon for me. :)

Short version is this a great place (would recommend to others) but I probably will not be back solely because of the gel nail polish selection. They mostly have gelish and I was just not happy with quality of the polish. I normally get OPI gel. Theres just a vast difference between the brands. They do have a smaller selection of a few other brands but not as many color choices. I dont want to have to settle for a shade in a better brand. Staff was polite and very detailed. Its also a stunning nail spa. Very clean! Definitely try it out if you arent as picky as me!Long version: I was a little off put by having a to wait about 15 minutes after my appointment time to get service and I was kind of just awkwardly sitting there unaware that I would have to wait. I wasnt particularly in a rush but a heads up would have been nice. I was offered complimentary water and noticed all the staff cleaning in between clients. I scheduled their 30 minute gel manicure which I expected to be a quick buff and then polish. Not at all what I got!!! In a good way. lol. Selena was super detailed with my nails and the whole time I was just thinking I really hope she doesnt have anyone after me.I told her the shape was fine and my cuticles arent bad at all so literally expected her just to buff then get to painting. She really took care with my nails which I appreciated because I have long natural nails and would be devastated if a nail tech damaged them. I selected a yellow shade of the gelish brand polish. After two coats it looked super patchy and uneven. Selena was patient enough to do a third. This is where I was just not happy. Ive never used the gelish brand before and legit never will. The yellow was pretty opaque in the bottle and not sheer at all. Ive gotten yellow gel in other brands before (similar opacity) and they looked phenomenal after two coats. It didnt look great after the third coat (again through no fault of the nail tech) and I wasnt about to complain because its not like she made the polish. She literally made no missteps with the application. She was nice enough to tell me about another brand they carry (name escapes me but I think it was an influencer brand). She highly recommended it but again I dont want to have to settle for a nail polish shade when I know other salons carry OPI and there are tons of shades I like.My manicure was $33 pre-tax and tip although I slightly expected to be charged for more with how long it took for my nails to be done. Tipped extra to make up for it! I do highly recommend this place and honestly would be willing to make it my regular spot if I find some non-gelish shades I like or they decide to carry OPI. Im just really not trying to experiment just to want to take my gel off 3 days later because Im not into it. Luckily most people arent as picky about their nails as I am!

I waited to write this review because I had hoped the quality would supersede my experience, but sadly nothing on either side came through on the positive...Booked an online appointment, and a few days later was texted by someone claiming to be from the salon asking me if I could come earlier. I couldn’t, due to not being able to just drop everything and leave my staff early to go get my nails done. So, whomever texted me asked if I could come later. For me, this was perfect! Drove all the way from Akron thinking I was on time. Received a call while I was driving saying I was supposed to be in there earlier. This was news to me...went in very confused and the rude receptionist actually acted like she knew who I was because to her, I was late...but to me I wasn’t? Wasn’t given an apology, and nail tech made me feel rushed because she had to point out they were “now 15 minutes behind” Okay, not my fault? Nails were okay, paid 50 dollars, and 5 days later my gel manicure (which was supposed to last 2 weeks) chipped on the 3rd day of my vacation. Disappointed in customer service, quality of manicure and how I was made to feel for an error that was clearly their part. First time getting my nails done with art...Will NOT return..ever.

No words about this salon can do it justice!I found Stella and Shay through Instagram and it was the best find. Of the multiple times I’d been there, I never had a bad experience! Becca is a great owner and she’s very hands on! Meredith always did my nails to perfection and never disappointed!I even got my hair cut and colored there by Tara and I loved it! She did it just as I had imagined it!Overall, if you’re looking a place in Cleveland that’s worth every penny- then look no further!

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but the more I look at my nails, the more upsetting it is. The service side is great, very friendly staff, cute interior, it’s convenient that you can book appointments online. However, the mani was performed really poorly. Being from Europe, I’m used to going to a salon for manicures that I wouldn’t be able to do myself. Especially with it not being a cheap salon, you expect a certain result. That’s the picture of a gel manicure done by Beth. Half of the cuticle length wasn’t even removed, it looks like it was done at least a week ago, but it’s only second day. The edges are very uneven, I was under the impression the master tried to save nail polish, I can still see the lines from the brush strokes. Nails on left and right hand are different lengths. When I left the salon, there was nail polish stuck to my fingers around nails, it fell off eventually. Overall very disappointed.

My boyfriend and I came here for mani & pedis for the first time. The building is beautiful and the entire staff was great. Jeniece & KD did our services and we had a great experience. Will definitely return!

If you dont go here to get your nails done, you aint livin ya best life.Where do I start? My nails always last longer than 3 weeks no matter who I go to, but some of my favorite people are Chelsea, John, Meredith, Cynthia, and Beth. I just got home from getting my nails done by Chelsea and she NEVER disappoints (her nail art is immaculate)- not to mention she carries on a good conversation. John is always highly entertaining and even cleaned my engagement ring for me today just for fun (this is actually not a service they offer- but he did it to another womans ring and it looked so sparkly after that I got jealous..... yessssirrr God bless you and your beautiful mom that brought you on this earth). I am ALWAYS getting compliments on my nails (especially when I go for pinks and blues with a matte finish). These are my people- not only will your nails look amazing, but they will last a long time and youll have the best time while youre there. If youre lucky, you might have an appointment on a day where they are playing 90s pop music. Backstreet boys? Sign me up! Everyone is always laughing and having fun in here- it makes me want to move in. OH yes, and wine. They have ALL THE wine. If youre not a wine drinker like myself then surely you like sipping some coffee while getting your nails done???? CAN I GET AN AMEN!?

I had an itch to bring my blue balayage up to the root, and scheduled an appointment less than 24 hours in advance with Angela. She reached out to me immediately the next morning to confirm that she had the color, which I was very impressed with. SHE WAS AWESOME!! My 3 hour service turned into a 4.5 hour ordeal and she never once complained. Instead, she made sure to do everything she could to make me comfortable. Its always hard to find new stylists you can trust in a new area, and I couldnt be happier with my decision. I am pretty picky about who I let touch my hair since I do extreme coloring, and I will be sticking with Angela at Stella and Shay!

Best salon in town! Cute and inviting atmosphere with amazing services! If you need a hair cut book with tara, you wont be disappointed! Also, this is the cleanest nail salon in the area, dont go anywhere else!

Visited for the first time two weeks ago and got a regular manicure and pedicure with Jeniece. The place is very nice, stylish, clean and comfortable. Jeniece did a great job and my manicure with the exception of normal nail growth is still going strong after two weeks. Anyone that gets their nails done knows that a normal manicure never lasts that long. I am actually sad to take it off after so many compliments. I will definitely be back.

I had a wonderful experience with Elaine. I made an appointment online (easy and straight forward) for a dry martini. Pretty much a trim, no wash which is very convenient. I do not think you would be disappointed.

Going back into my review to add. Another 5-star service from Bonnie! I went in for major hair rescue after a botched home dye job a year and a half ago. Not only did she fix it, she has brought me to the best hair I have EVER had! She did full highlights and balyage on all my super long hair and it looks flawless. I have never been so happy with my head. Super clean salon too by my high standards. Great staff all around. I see why they opened a 2nd location. So happy I have continued to come here.

I met with Courtney prior to getting my haircut to discuss my fears ( i have been chopped before and wanted to let her know that i just wanted the smallest amount off as possible) she listened and delivered ! she offered me a dry cut so i could see exactly how much was coming off and it was THE perfect trim. thank you Courtney and all of Stella & Shay.

My sister-in-law and I went to Stella and Shay for our pre-wedding nails- we absolutely loved the service and their work! We both got gel manicures and after 2 weeks, I still have them on- undamaged! The staff is very professional and very fun to talk to.I would highly recommend Stella and Shay whether its for your wedding or for a date night/girls night out- or just to pamper yourself!

DO NOT GO HERE! First of all of all I felt very unwelcomed by the receptionist. I went in for a new color and hair cut. Amy was my stylist. She physically hurt my head when applying the color and yanked it with the comb. She was very aggressive when washing and styling my hair too. I felt like was a mannequin. She also did my hair color completely wrong. I showed her a picture with 3 colors in it and was going from blonde to darker hair. I ended up with PURPLE hair instead of brown, red, blonde tones that I wanted. I was speechless and mortified and left holding back my tears and feelings. I had emailed them to talk to a manager about the situation because not only did I feel psychically hurt my hair is a total mess for the holidays. They wouldnt give me a refund and refused to have another stylist fix my hair. I refuse to go back to Amy because first she didnt give me what I wanted and secondly because she was so rough with my head and hair that I had a head ache all evening because of it.Additionally, when sitting there getting my hair brutally destroyed the place was filthy. I understand there being hair left around after a client leaves but a chair that wasnt used the whole time I was there had massive amounts of hair bulked up under the stylists table. They need to clean better. Not to mention the cobwebs I spotted.My problem is still not resolved. I refuse to return.

The place is super clean & cute and the staff is friendly. However, the last two times I’ve been there, I’ve been disappointed with the results. I got my nails done on Thursday evening and by Friday morning, 3 of my gel nails already started to bubble. I like to get my nails done for special occasions and when I got them done this time, they didn’t even last for the reason I had them done. It’s frustrating to have spent $50 for something that didn’t even last 24 hours.

I LOVE this place! They always do amazing work on my nails and I refuse to go anywhere else! You do have to make an appointment ahead of time, usually a couple days, because the nail techs usually have a pretty full schedule but its worth it!

Becca and her team at Stella and Shay made my wedding preparation a dream come true! This salon not only is beautiful, the hair and makeup artists are true professionals and simply so talented. Becca was extremely organized throughout the planning process, and she coordinated the hair and makeup of 15 people plus also doing the hair for all 5 of my flower girls (all under 8)—not an easy task. We never felt rushed or behind schedule and we truly were able to enjoy spending time together in the morning. All of the staff is so friendly and fun, and they made sure we all felt and looked beautiful, comfortable and confident for the day. I couldn’t recommend this studio enough! Thank you soooo much Becca and the rest of your amazing staff! We love you guys! ❤️

Gel mani by Faith 3 weeks ago and still holding strong and perfect! Not a single scratch. Cute place, 1st time there. I didnt expect when I went for a pedicure how it was laid out. If you dont mind others conversation & laughing & alittle loud....then this place is fine! I was in the mood for a relaxing environment & had no idea! But I chose the pedicure spritzer & it was nice & I got a free body wax to take home. I did make myself relax & I would go back. Very nice young women working there. Love the decor!

The salon has a great atmosphere. I appreciate the lighting because it isnt too bright, and the music is played and just the right volume- never too loud. Alecia is an excellent stylist.

Be careful with waxings, you might get burned and then get a snark response instead of someone willing to kindly accept constructive criticism. Just because no one else complained doesnt mean it didnt happen and for getting waxings for the past 15+ years from other places & here multiple times, this place was the first to burn me. Also, they have very slow check-in and check-out.. they need more than 1 computer and maybe no more than 1-2 people behind the counter because its ALWAYS a cluster f and always get ignored or left standing there listening to drama for 5-10 mins before being assisted.

A friend of mine bought me 2 mini bar mani pedi combos on groupon as a gift. I emailed them for an appointment received a very quick response and a convenient appointment within a day so I was already impressed and excited. My daughter and I just got home from our visit and the services were great! I was a little bit concerned because the place is so beautiful that they would be a little snotty but so not the case! Super nice people and great at what they do! We will be going back to try out the hair side of the salon because we had such a great experience!
