I don’t know how to even rate my experience. To say what happened... I had 2 brand new, never used gift cards from Amazon... $25, and $75. I have used a service like this before, not this particular place, but I was shocked. I have previously sold the same type of gift card and was expecting $65 in return for the 2 gift cards. This is when all of this becomes my own fault. The person behind the glass asked if I had been there before, and I said no. I filled out a form with my information and the woman proceeded to take the cards out of their packets and did typing on the computer. She didn’t address me at all or ask me any questions after asking me to fill out the form. I had to make a call so I stepped outside. When i came back in, she produced cash through the window and said what I thought was “$65” . I gathered the cash without counting and left the store. I went home and when I checked the cash in pocket, I was frantic. I only found $45. I thought I must have dropped a $20 dollar bill someplace, that’s all that made sense to me. I retraced steps and found nothing. Last resort, I called the Gift Card Exchange to verify the amount she gave me in cash. That is when I learned that for $75 worth of gift cards, I only received $45. I wish i would have asked how much I would be getting, or at least counted it, because I think this is a total rip off. I have sold my cards before, never for that little amount. I don’t understand why they give so little for an unused Amazon Card. I feel like I was robbed. I really wish the whole transaction would have been done more professionally, or at least have given me the opportunity to decline the amount they were going to offer. She never asked if I was ok with an amount or not...she just shoved the cash through the window. For this reason ONLY I have 2 stars for only having myself to blame.fOk.... so after reading the response from the owner I’m wondering how $45 is 60% of $100? I would have been happy with $60. I only got paid 45% 🤨The girl who works the desk is awesome!

I approached Gift Card Flip Flop with a gift card to Neiman Marcus for $886.01 and was quickly told . We dont do those ones and was hung up on..thanks lady, Ill be sure to return when I have a few bucks on A WalMart card ok

Place is best gift card exchange in town. If you have gift cards you have yet dont plan on using dont let em go to waste bring them here. This place offers really great payouts and has awesome customer service. Super curtious staff that are friendly and always professional yet at the same time are lax and make you feel welcome

The gift card flip flop has such a great staff. Always fast and easy. Its so easy to make a few extra bucks with gift cards u may have laying around. And them being open druing this hard time with everything being closed its great to make extra money. 💰

This place is great, I get gift cards all the time for places that I would never go to and they used to just sit in a drawer and collect dust plus the stores get free money from the cards I let expire. Now I have a place to sell them and buy something I actually will use. Thank you guys for this service and CJ is especially awesome, she is the the other reason I will continue to go here

(☆Update below: July 26th 2020☆) Want to start by saying customer service was second to none.... Went in on Saturday 12/28/19 around 6:30 and not only were they open but would be open till 10, most of these places close at 5 or earlier. I had called first just to make sure what I needed to bring with me and the lady(super friendly and polite) told me just my I.D. and the gift cards, so I was off. Got there and walked right in and was helped by the same awesome lady who I had talked to on the phone, gave her my gift cards and my I.D., she gave me a paper to sign and my I.D. back. By the time I finished signing and dating the paper she had cash in hand and a smile that would light up a room. I cant say enough about this place because a lot of places like this treat you poorly and make you feel like your inconveniencing them. Anyway long story short... they gave me more then 65% of value and was in and out within 5min. Will be back and will be recommending to anyone who wants to sell some gift cards.Wanted to give an extra shout out to Lisa, she went above and beyond for me and I figured this was one way I could show my gratitude. So... Thank You again Lisa, it is employees like you that will keep me coming back as a customer.

Love this location. It is more convenient to have one in Lakewood again. Also the staff is awesome. Very friendly and we love see the big dog there he is super friendly and a love bug!!!! Thank you guys def will refer people back to this place
